I wrote "Your Elite Energy" because I needed it. And I know I’m not alone.

Burnout is everywhere—quietly draining our health, creativity, capacity, and joy. "Your Elite Energy" is my answer to that: a personal framework to help you reset, recharge, and realign with what actually fuels you.

This isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. It’s a flexible, intuitive, visual system that looks at your well-being and capacity holistically—mind, body, heart, rest, and growth. The book is full of reflection questions and simple tools I’ve used myself (and still do!) to navigate life, work, and investing in my best capacity—for myself and the people I care about.

Yes, it’s rooted in research—but it’s also deeply personal. I share my story, including some of the hardest parts, because I believe someone needs to hear: you are not alone. This book is about discovering your own version of thriving—and being honest about what’s no longer working.

If you’re feeling stretched too thin, or if someone you care about is struggling to keep up, I hope this book helps. I wrote it with you in mind.

I look forward to finishing the book and seeing how the final chapters, particularly those focused on reach, tie the full system together. A Must-Read on Intentional Living and Whole-Body Wellness!

A must read book for all. A book that touches on promoting alignment with Mind, Body and Heart with belief and core values to produce intrinsic drive to cope with life events. We can't contol changes in our environment, we can control how to drive our body with Elite Energy. Read about practical steps we can take to have energy, ELITE ("the most effective version of I"). The goal of this book is simple, "My Elite Energy".
I really like the use of Newton's pendulum to explain BODY, MIND, HEART and the driving force and how it is deeply rooted in our belief system and core values. Bree explains, energy is not about drowning ourselves in energy drinks, drowning ourselves in caffeine or striving to perfect our time management. It is an alignment, a balance, of our self-belief/core values that allows our body/mind/heart to generate intrinsic drive.
I like Image 19: Balance. So true about the relationship about Rest and Reach! I was also able to imagine, as I closed my eyes and try to have rhythm in me, a steady rhythm! Chapter 12 Creating a Culture is a good 2nd Book! I look forward to seeing how Bree expands this rhythmic pendulum Elite Energy into Company Culture, Social Culture etc.

Being a “seasoned” 73-year-old with a background in psychology, I’ve read many self-help books. Your Elite Energy: A Blueprint to Break Free from Burnout and Restore Your Vitality by Bree Bacon offers an engaging approach I haven’t encountered in other books. By providing thought-provoking questions to prompt a reader through the steps to examine their values and beliefs, and how their self care in the areas of mind, body, and heart, rest, and stretching yourself in new ways, leads the reader forward in their personal growth. The author’s inclusion of her personal story and responses to the questions she is asking of others motivates the reader to work through their answers to develop their own elite energy.

While heavily researched, the author uses everyday language to help individuals maximize personal potential and consequently an energized employee. If utilized by an organization, the effort has the potential to maximize collective efforts in any work environment.

Everyone wants to find a magical way to “do it all” but this is the first framework I’ve seen that addresses the interconnectedness of our lives (personal and professional) as well as our bodies (mental and physical).

Bacon dismantles the idea that burnout is “normal” or just a part of life, and unravels how chronic stress and burnout can ravage your health and relationships. But it's not about doom and gloom - she's setting the stakes for how important it is to achieve a better balance.

The book is a powerful combination of science, psychology and personal story. Rather than a “one size fits all” checklist it’s a customizable framework that you tailor to your needs.

I highly recommend "Your Elite Energy" for anyone who's tired of platitudes about work/life balance and is ready for actionable advice. I truly believe this book provides a path for not just balance but peace in today's demanding world.

Bree introduces a practical framework for balancing "whole self" in order to achieve your best overall personal energy. Too often individuals focus on one part of their lives and expect it to change their whole. Bree offers helpful reflection questions and ideas so that by the end of the book you're left with actionable suggestions you can immediately apply to your own life and feel an instant impact on every aspect of your energy from mental, to physical, to emotional and in between. Bree Bacon beautifully captures a rhythm that has existed from the beginning of time. The invitation from the Creator was for humans to rest and then enter into their work energized not depleted! The science and statistics once again prove the benefit of choosing this way of life. This book is very inspiring! I could immediately relate to this book. I love how the author balances data driven research with her deeply personal experiences. Unlike many productivity books, this one doesn't talk about time management but rather energies, priorities, life purpose which was a refreshing take on how to look at your time and the work you do. Coming from the author's lived experiences, it felt very authentic, easy to read and relate to.

An amazing book, and well worth the read! What stood out to me was that at the end of each chapter, Bree walks you through some practical application questions that really help you implement this practice into your life. We are so interconnected, and I loved the opportunity to reflect on what I’m doing to better my mind, body, and relationships!

Bree makes it feel like change is possible just by setting up a great foundational energy system. Couldn’t have come at a better time for me- burnout on the brink! Loved her audio book and kindle version. Worked through plans that actually worked for me, not general pop!
