From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new hockey romance.
Kylie I learned early in life that love isn't just given, it's earned. Now I've decided love isn't worth it. At least that type of love. Until him. He was broken. It was safe. But then I went and did the unexpected. I fell in love with him, knowing he would never love me back.
Knox I thought I had it all. I was playing hockey in the NHL. Three beautiful kids and a wife who loved me. Until I walked in on her in bed with my brother-in-law. Everything I thought I had was a lie. She was everything I thought I didn't want, and when I least expected it. I just hope when I finally figure it out, I haven't lost her for good.
When Wall Street Journal and USA Today Best Selling Author's nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
I thought Ariella and Jaxon would always be my favourite characters in this series, but I was wrong. These two are turning everything inside me upside down.
It's a pretty steamy, passionate story. I feel like there was never a break when we talked about these two; it was a back-and-forth throughout the whole book. I loved it, such an exquisite story.
Only for Him by Natasha Madison eARC & ALC Review 💛
I knew that Knox and Kylie’s story was going to put me through it and wow, did it ever. Natasha broke my heart and mended it with this book.
Heartbreak and healing. This book is so incredibly special. Knox and Kylie meet each other at the point in their lives when the last thing they are looking for is love, but that is exactly what the two of them truly need. The banter is incredible, their tension is off the charts and they emotionally complete each other in a once in a lifetime way.
Gregory Salinas & Rose Dioro did an amazing job with the narration and made the story even more enjoyable to listen to.
What to expect: Hockey romance Sworn off relationships Single dad Emotional scars Opposites attract Frenemies with benefits Teammates sister
Knox returns home early and catches his wife in bed with his sister’s husband. Now he is adjusting to life as a single man and trying to be a good father to his three kids. He meets Kylie, his team mate’s sister at a team outing but he doesn’t know who she is and he says something totally crappy to her. Kylie is no pushover and she comes back at him with equal snark. When he learns her identity, he’s embarrassed and intrigued. Needless to say, they have mutual dislike for each other. Their arguments lead to an explosive encounter that just starts their forever journey. Knox loves Kylie’s snarky ways and she adores the was he loves her even though she’s not ready to accept it. Knox has to overcome all of Kylie’s hangups about love and Kylie has to learn that true love is not conditional.
I loved this story. Natasha Madison has done it again!!
**I received an advanced reader copy of this book for free and I am voluntarily leaving this review.**
Knox and Kylie were so hott! From their not so friendly meet cute, to their first hook-up, to developing feelings during their friends with benefits situation kept me engaged. They were two opposites that complimented each other. The flirty banter was absolutely delicious. They both had some past hurt and healing they work working through, which made the journey to the HEA feel genuine.
Knox was such a great dad to his kids and Kylie's growing relationship with them was so sweet. Her birthday celebration had me tearing up.
Knox's family reaction to his ex cheating was absolutely diabolical. Not just for him but for his sister too 💀
The audiobook is dual narrated by Gregory Salinas and Rose Disorio. They were great and made the listening experience enjoyable.
Every book that Natasha writes is one that i always devour. I love the way that she tells a story and keeps you entertained with the best tropes. The single dad trope is one of my favorites. You also get teammates/best friend's sister with a lot of hate to lovers going on.
Knox and Kylie are so good together. I absolutely adored this couple and all they bring to the table. I loved the way Knox put his kids first and how he is career driven. I enjoyed the way that he came across on the page as gruff and kinda rude at times. But deep down he was just a man that was hurt and trying to keep his walls up. I loved his kids! Kylie is sunshine and attitude. She made me laugh with her comebacks and the way she stood her ground. I enjoyed seeing her find love and open up to it.
I really enjoyed this book. I can't wait for more from this series. I am addicted to anything that Natasha writes!
Mini Review: Just finished this one and let me tell you, I loved Knox and Kylie. They have the perfect frenemies to lovers vibe, until they don’t. He fell hard for her. The way he stepped and took care of her. Yes, please! She was a little apprehensive of relationships and love. He showed her what it was like to have love in your corner. What a great ride.
🏒 Hockey Romance 👨👧 Single Dad 💔 Betrayal & Divorce 🛟 Healing & Redemption 🔥 Slow Burn 💞 Friends to Lovers 👀 Unrequited Love 😤 Protective Hero 👨👩👧👦 Found Family 💖 She Falls First 🧠 Emotional Growth ❤️ Second Chance at Love
Star: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
Only for Him by Natasha Madison is book three in the Only For series and it delivers an emotional, character driven hockey romance that is heavy on heartbreak, healing and the kind of love that grows slowly and steadily when you least expect it.
Kylie is a heroine who has built walls around her heart for good reason. She learned early that love is conditional and that affection often comes with strings attached. Because of that, she convinces herself that the safest option is to avoid deep love altogether. She can care. She can support. She can show up. But she refuses to expect forever. That mindset makes her connection with Knox feel manageable at first. He is broken, grieving the life he thought he had, and emotionally unavailable. Falling for a man who clearly is not ready feels like less of a risk. She believes she is protecting herself, even as her feelings grow far beyond what she planned.
Knox’s story is layered with betrayal and humiliation. Walking in on his wife with his brother in law shatters not just his marriage but his sense of identity. He thought he had everything figured out. A successful NHL career, a stable home, three children and a wife he trusted. In a single moment, that illusion collapses. What makes his character so compelling is how deeply his pain runs beneath the surface. He is trying to stay strong for his kids while privately drowning in anger, disbelief and self doubt. His journey is not just about moving on from infidelity. It is about rebuilding his confidence and learning that he is worthy of a love that does not deceive him.
The dynamic between Kylie and Knox is built on proximity and quiet support rather than instant fireworks. Their relationship develops through shared responsibilities, late night conversations and small gestures that slowly chip away at Knox’s defenses. Kylie’s patience with him is both beautiful and heartbreaking. She loves him in a way that is gentle and unwavering, even when she fears she will never be loved back. Watching her wrestle with that reality adds a strong emotional ache to the story.
One of the standout elements is the way the children are woven into the romance. They are not background characters. They are central to Knox’s motivations and to Kylie’s growth. The found family aspect feels authentic and warm. Seeing Kylie form bonds with the kids adds depth to her character and raises the emotional stakes for everyone involved.
The romance itself is a true slow burn. There is longing, tension and a steady build of intimacy that feels earned. When Knox finally begins to confront his feelings, it is satisfying because you have witnessed every step of his internal struggle. His realization does not come easily, and that makes it all the more meaningful.
Natasha Madison balances emotional angst with tender, heart melting moments. There is heartbreak, but there is also hope. The story explores trust, forgiveness and the courage it takes to open your heart again after it has been shattered.
If you love hockey romances with single dad energy, protective instincts, emotional vulnerability and a heroine who loves fiercely even when it costs her, Only for Him delivers a deeply satisfying and heartfelt journey.
Only for Him by Natasha Madison ARC Review - Releases 3/13/26 ✨Summary✨ Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ HEA: Yes, 3rd act breakup POV: dual Tropes: Hockey, Single Dad, Enemies to Lovers, Fast Burn, Enemies with Benefits, Teammate’s Sister, Brother’s Best Friend
Knox is a professional hockey player and recent single dad (after catching his wife with his sister’s husband). Kylie is his teammate/best friend’s little sister. The first time they meet, he’s having a particularly bad day and says something that immediately puts them on the wrong foot. He tries to apologize, but she’s not having it. With all that tension between them, it’s only a matter of time before it explodes… and it does. Even though they can’t stand each other, they also can’t keep their hands off each other. What starts as pure physical tension slowly turns into something deeper. But they both carry a lot of past hurt that needs to be overcome before they can get their HEA.
Let me start off by saying I really loved this book. Knox is an amazing dad to his 3 kids. This is honestly a single dad trope done really well. He’s involved, empathetic, and supportive. He shares 50/50 custody with his ex-wife. However, he carries a lot of understandable resentment toward her, as well as, his family, who keep pushing him to forgive and forget…Not gonna happen!
Kylie is strong and spunky, but she’s also quietly broken from years of parental narcissistic abuse. She has a lot of trauma to work through, especially the belief that love is conditional and that someone couldn’t truly want her exactly as she is. Watching her slowly accept that she is capable of love, worthy of love in return, and real love isn’t conditional was emotional.
The spice in this book is hot! Knox and Kylie’s chemistry is intense. They combust every time they’re together. I was honestly shocked at how fast they burned and how hot the spice was right out of the gate…hate really can be an aphrodisiac lol. For the first half, it’s very much an enemies-with-benefits situation. No matter how hard they try to stay away, they just can’t.
There were only a couple of things that kept this from being a full 5⭐️ for me. Knox puts his foot in his mouth more than once and makes some asshole comments to Kylie that had me groaning. I understand that it adds tension and reinforces the enemies-to-lovers dynamic, but at times it really annoyed me. And Knox’s family? That’s not a good family…especially his mother. I could somewhat understand the first moment of tension, but the last part was unnecessary. I feel like the family drama didn’t add to the story and could have worked better with less.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I cannot wait to read the next one in the series. It has one of my favorite tropes so I’m excited!
Thank you to The Author Agency and Natasha Madison for the opportunity to read this ARC in exchange for an honest pre-release review!
Only For Him is romance at its most layered — aching, intimate, and deeply, soul-stirringly human.
The third book in the Only For series by Natalie Madison is proof that when she writes hockey romance, she doesn’t just give us chemistry and locker-room banter — she gives us emotional excavation.
Knox’s life didn’t simply unravel — it detonated. One moment of betrayal, walking in on his wife with his brother-in-law, split his world clean down the middle. What makes his story so powerful isn’t just the heartbreak — it’s the quiet resilience. The way he continues to be steady for his three children. The way fatherhood defines him more than hockey ever could.
And then there’s Kylie.
Kylie, who has built her entire identity around earning love. Proving herself worthy. Being “enough.” Her backstory doesn’t shout — it lingers. It explains the walls, the caution, the instinct to protect her heart at all costs. Except when it comes to her brother — he’s the one place she’s always given freely.
Their first encounter? Sharp. Tense. Charged. Enemies, absolutely.
But the attraction simmers underneath from the start — not explosive, not reckless — but consuming. The kind that feels inevitable.
What makes this story rich is the emotional peeling back. Watching two guarded people slowly risk softness again. Watching Knox allow someone into the fragile space his children occupy. Watching Kylie realise that love isn’t a currency to be earned — it can simply be given.
And those children… they are the heartbeat of this book. They aren’t props in a single-dad trope. They are active, vibrant, healing forces. The way Kylie falls in love with them — and the way they, in turn, dismantle her carefully constructed defences — is written with such tenderness it almost aches.
And yes… that birthday scene. I was not prepared. The tears came from a place of fullness, not devastation. It was the culmination of everything — trust rebuilt, walls lowered, hope chosen.
The hockey team and the unshakeable bonds Ms Madison always weaves through her stories ground this romance in something bigger — loyalty, brotherhood, found family. But this time, the emotional core feels deeper. More intimate. More profound.
This isn’t just a hot hockey romance. It’s about rebuilding after betrayal. It’s about learning you are worthy of love without conditions. It’s about choosing vulnerability when fear would be easier.
And that’s why this one will stay with me.
If You Like… • Single dad heroes who are defined by their devotion • Enemies-to-lovers with emotional depth • Stories about rebuilding after betrayal • Children who genuinely shape the romance • Hockey romances where the team feels like family
Now that we’ve cleared that up, Only for Him was everything I want in a hockey romance — emotional, messy, healing, and full of tension that slowly turns into something real.
Knox is the kind of hero who sneaks up on you. On the surface he’s gruff, blunt, and clearly carrying a lot of anger after discovering his wife cheating on him with his brother-in-law. That betrayal doesn’t just end his marriage, it completely shatters the life he thought he had built. But what makes Knox so compelling is that even while he’s trying to process all that pain, he never stops showing up for his three kids. His devotion to them is constant, and the single-dad element of this story was done incredibly well.
Kylie is almost the opposite. She appears confident and put together, but beneath that exterior she’s deeply guarded. Growing up in a home where love always came with conditions left her convinced that real, unconditional love isn’t something meant for her. Because of that, she keeps people at a distance and avoids relationships altogether.
Which makes her connection with Knox even more interesting.
Their first meeting does not go well. Knox says the wrong thing at the worst possible time and Kylie has no interest in forgiving him. From there, their dynamic is full of tension, sharp banter, and a lot of push and pull. One moment they’re snapping at each other, the next the chemistry between them is impossible to ignore.
What starts as an enemies-with-benefits situation quickly becomes something much deeper. The banter shifts from hostile to playful, the tension turns into something softer, and watching them slowly let their walls down made their relationship feel genuine and earned.
One of the highlights of the book for me was Knox as a father and the way Kylie gradually becomes part of his kids’ lives. The children aren’t just background characters. They’re central to the story, and seeing Kylie bond with them added so much warmth to the romance. That birthday scene had me tearing up.
The chemistry between Knox and Kylie is intense from the start, and the spice definitely delivers. Their attraction burns hot, but what really made their story work was the emotional growth happening beneath it all. Both of them are carrying past hurt, and watching them slowly learn to trust again made the payoff feel incredibly satisfying.
Oh man! Natasha hit it out of the park again! I absolutely loved this book! Although it is book 3 of the series, it is totally easy to read as a standalone.
Knox and Kylie’s chemistry is absolutely electric and so so hot. The spice in this book is off the charts! From the moment they meet, the tension is off the charts and their banter is hilarious. Even when they can’t stand each other, their connection is undeniable. Watching their relationship slowly evolve into something deeper was both emotional and beautiful. I loved how organic it was - there wasn't a whole lot of drama, just a chance to really get to know one another and watching their relationship slowly change and grow. It was perfect.
Knox is the single dad trope done right—devoted to his three kids, strong for them even while grieving the devastating betrayal of his wife. Beneath his rough exterior is a man with a huge heart and a big part of that heart is for Kylie.
Kylie is confident, sassy, and independent, but she’s also quietly carrying the scars of parental narcissistic abuse. She grew up believing love was conditional, so watching her slowly realize she’s worthy of unconditional love was incredibly moving. I love how much she changed in this book. I absolutely thought that Knox helped her to find that inner strength to chase the love that she deserved.
Their story is full of tension, humor, heartbreak, and healing as they learn to let their walls down and choose each other.
The audiobook narration by Rose Diorio and Gregory Salinas was fantastic. Rose perfectly captured Kylie’s snark and vulnerability, while Gregory brought the perfect roughness and emotional depth to Knox. Their voices complemented each other beautifully. I adored how well they conveyed those intense sexy scenes...definitely had me blushing.
Let's not leave out Knox's and Kylie's friends and teammates who totally add a fun and engaging element to this story. I really loved the banter between Knox, Jaxson & Kirby - absolute gold!
If you love single dad, hate-to-lovers tension, emotional healing, and fiery chemistry, this one is definitely worth the listen. Thank you to #natashamadison and #theauthoragency for the opportunity to read this great book.
O have I been waiting for this one! Only For Him by Natasha Madison, book three in the Only For series. Knox's story… If you love a hockey romance with hysterical banter, found family, amazing passion and deep healing love, READ THIS!
Knox and Kylie. Two characters each struggling in the trauma of their past and both have shut their hearts off to any love. Kylie has built walls around herself just to survive, to never be hurt again. She grew up learning that love could disappear without warning, that affection often came with expectations and quiet conditions attached. Sadly she taught herself not to believe in love or hope for forever. This girl is strong, she’s so sassy and independent and I love it! So confident in her skin!
Knox is grieving. Closed off. Emotionally wrecked and nowhere near ready to offer someone his whole heart. The ultimate betrayal by his wife has torn his family apart. Knox’s pain cuts deep. But he’s so strong for his kids. This man has a heart of gold. He's so freaking gorgeous and so funny.
These two are pure fire from the first time they meet. The connection is obvious even though they both fight it. The banter between these two is hysterical, you will continually laugh outloud. Slowly these two start to fall and it’s so beautiful. To watch the healing, the growing and the realizing they both deserve a love that chooses them unconditionally. And their passion, oooo this one burns pure fire!
And the found family in this series, I AM HERE FOR IT! I love the connections between them all.
As ALWAYS, Natasha weaved together another perfect story. She writes so real and raw, having been through a divorce, she caught perfectly the pain both myself and my kids went through. She didn't sugar coat it and I love that. And I venture to say this one, the passion, holy hell was it even hotter than the others! You need this series, add it now!

🩷Thank you to Natasha Madison and The Author Agency for my arc!
After teasing us in the last book, we finally have Knox's story & it doesn't disappoint. This is quickly becoming a series I look forward to with each new release & for good reason.
I knew Knox’s story was going to be messy, but listening to it unfold made every emotion hit even harder. He’s carrying so much grief & betrayal after his marriage implodes, yet the way he shows up for his kids is everything. You can feel the weight of what he lost, but also how fiercely he loves his children. That single dad energy? Top tier.
And Kylie is his perfect match, even if she doesn't know it at first. She’s strong, has a sharp tongue, guarded, & determined not to need anyone. Watching her fall for a man who is unsure at first & then pushes beyond all her walls was such a wonderful ride. She tries to convince herself she can handle him without feelings, but feelings don’t follow rules, & seeing her slowly realize she wants more had me in my feels.
Their banter is so good. It starts tense & a little chaotic, then shifts into something layered with longing & vulnerability. The chemistry is undeniable, but what I loved most was the emotional build. This isn’t instant healing. It’s quiet support, late-night conversations, hard truths, & small moments that slowly break down walls.
The kids are such a huge part of the story, & I loved how naturally they’re woven into everything. The found family aspect feels earned & heartfelt. It stood out more in this one than in the previous books.
Gregory Salinas & Rose Dioro absolutely delivered with the dual narration. They captured the angst, the tension, & the softer moments perfectly. Listening to this series is always my preference.
Natasha Madison delivers heartbreak & healing wrapped in a hockey romance. Emotional, swoony, & deeply satisfying. Definitely a standout in the series for me.

OMG KNOX. I love Knox. I thought he was going to be a problem, but he is just so freaking good - even after finding what he found in his bed. What an awful surprise. I have a bone to pick with a LIST of people in this book.
To his wife and brother-in-law, HOW VERY DARE YOU. In his bed? For years? Awful. Go straight to jail. To his sister and mom, please get your heads out of your butts and realize that Knox did absolutely nothing wrong and you are pointing your ire at the wrong person. Finally, his dad. Jesus daddy, I know you like your wife and daughter, but in this case you should have not stuck with them.
Finally, Kiley. I like Kiley. Kiley has demons. But give the boy a break. These two were so hot and cold, but due to both of their trauma, it made their ride together very bumpy. I enjoyed the humor in this book. It had me giggling throughout at the situations they were put in, but in the sarcastic nature of the couple. I loved their wellness retreat almost as much as I loved how many threats Kiley casually threw at Knox for inviting her on such a lovely trip. Hopefully, he also takes her on the spa retreat, to make up for it.
I'm not going to lie to you guys, there is a third act break up (if they're not official, can it be a breakup?). It was heartbreaking. We have some commitment phobia on certain people's part. I enjoyed the writing and the story of this one. It had enough humor to keep me engaged. I listened to the first half and read the last half because I was #blessed by the author's team. I liked the male narrator a lot, but one thing I hated was when the text convos were happening, they read the phone number over and over again. I assume that's because she didn't save his number and it was on purpose, but it was awful to listen to. I usually live for text convos. But in audio, it left a lot to be desired. Outside of that, it was a good time! Definitely, give it a read, this book was a good time.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.25 Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ (yay for cars)
I was given a copy of this from the author agency. My opinions are my own.
I absolutely devoured Only for Him by Natasha Madison. Like… read-it-in-one-sitting, ignore-my-responsibilities, emotionally-invested level devoured.
Knox and Kylie completely stole my heart. Their chemistry was insane from the start, the kind that just crackles on every page. You can feel the tension, the longing, the hesitation… all of it. And honestly I loved that neither of them walked into this relationship clean or simple. They’re both carrying baggage and scars, and watching them slowly circle each other was everything.
Knox broke my heart in the beginning. Imagine thinking you have the perfect life, the dream career in the NHL, a family, a future… and then having it all implode in the worst possible way. The betrayal he went through was brutal and you could really feel how lost and guarded he became after that. My heart just wanted to wrap him up.
And Kylie. I adored her. She’s strong but also guarded in her own way. She already decided love wasn’t worth the risk, so of course the one man she falls for is the one she thinks will never love her back. That emotional push and pull between them had me completely hooked.
What I loved most is how natural their connection felt. They didn’t just fall into each other overnight. It was messy, complicated, full of doubts and feelings neither of them wanted to admit. But the way they fit together? Perfect. They were exactly what the other needed even if they didn’t realise it at first.
And the chemistry… wow. Every scene between Knox and Kylie had sparks. The banter, the tension, the quiet emotional moments. You could just tell they belonged together.
This book gave me all the feels. Heartbreak, frustration, hope, and that slow, beautiful realisation that maybe love is still worth the risk after all.
If you love emotional romance with broken characters finding their way back to love, amazing chemistry, and a story that pulls you in from the first page, this one is a must read. I loved Knox and Kylie so much and honestly they were perfect for each other. 💙📚
If you are looking for a romance that perfectly balances sharp-witted banter with genuine heart, Natasha Madison delivers a winner with Only for Him. This frenemies-to-lovers, single-dad sports romance is a total emotional roller coaster that kept me hooked from the first "wrong" word to the final page. The standout feature of this book is the electric dynamic between Knox and Kylie. Their initial antagonism is top-tier; Knox has a particular talent for saying exactly the wrong thing to get under Kylie’s skin. However, that irritation clearly masks a magnetic pull that neither can ignore. • Knox: He is the ultimate "dirty-talking" hero with a heart of gold. While he’s undeniably sexy, seeing his softer side as a dedicated single dad added a beautiful layer of depth to his character. • Kylie: She is a powerhouse. Sassy, strong, and equipped with a smart mouth that rivals Knox’s, she is the perfect foil for his arrogance. The transition from frenemies to lovers feels earned. Both characters are carrying baggage from their pasts. Watching them navigate their vulnerabilities while maintaining their trademark "frenemy" spark made their eventual Happily Ever After (HEA)incredibly satisfying. While the "roller coaster" of emotions hit all the right notes, the highlight remains the dialogue. It was so much fun to watch these two trade barbs and slowly realize they were meant for each other. A must-read for fans of high-tension banter, swoon-worthy dads, and heroines who give as good as they get.
The Audio Experience
The dual-delivery of reading and listening to this story added an extra layer of brilliance to the experience. Narrators Gregory Salinas and Rose Dioro truly brought Knox and Kylie to life, capturing their intense tension, electric chemistry, and sharp-witted banter with perfect precision. Their performances made the "roller coaster" of emotions feel even more vivid and engaging..
The Meet Greet Is Hilarious! Only For Him is the third book in the Only For series by Natasha Madison. It's a shame we can only choose up to five stars because this book is worthy of so much more! This book has Hockey, a single Dad, a best friends sister, enemies to lovers with laugh out loud witty banter, the spice is spicy and a lovely HEA with an epilogue (my favorite). TW: cheating (not between main characters), brief mentions of weight loss and gain, narcissistic and emotional child abuse (off page) of a main character.
I would like to Thank The Author Agency for my ARC and in return I voluntarily promised an honest review.
Knox is a Professional Hockey Player for the LA Warriors and is trying to get his life back together after walking in on his wife riding his brother in law. He knows he's not a ONS kinda guy and he isn't ready for another relationship either but he's lonely.
Kylie has moved from Arizona to LA to work for her brothers Foundation. Kirby is her brother and if it wasn't for his girlfriend and her friends she would be all alone. Kylie doesn't believe in love and doesn't do relationships.
Knox mistakes Kylie for a puck bunny and insults her. When she is introduced to him by his very best friend, he knows he made a big mistake. She puts him in his place with a great big smile.
Kylie and Knox keep being in the same place at the same time and continue to trade barbs until she has no choice but to accept a ride home from him. The ride turns into a front seat mambo that ruins them both.
One time turns into a few with lots of laughs and fun. They enjoy each other and just when he's ready to tell her he wants more...she wants out.
Will Kylie change her belief about love...Only For Him?
She's a tough cookie who rarely shows her true emotions, not wanting to put herself (or her heart) in anyone else's hands. Due her upbringing, she doesn't believe in unconditional love. He's a bit bitter after ending his marriage, rather abruptly. He isn't one to play around, but he also doesn't think he'll find love again. (Though, unlike her, he's not against it.) Despite their less than stellar meet-cute, and her ball bustin' ways, there is an attraction between them. While he tries to get to know her better aside from physically, she's still insistent that their relationship is just for 'fun.' Of course, when they can't keep their hands off each other, things are bound to become a bit complicated. There is plenty of emotion (as is usual with this authors work.) And plenty of spice. Lots of spice. ;) There is also some laughs throughout, though this isn't a 'romcom.' It is part of a series, but each book can be read as a stand alone. These two are fairly new, but we are introduced to them in the previous book(s) and we also see more of the main characters from those books as well. He is a father of three (sharing custody with the ex,) so there is that cuteness from the kids. Of course his evil ex is there not making things easy, but she's not quite as intrusive as she could be. His parent's... well, I don't care for them much (his mom anyways.) And is usually the case, we get a sneak peek at the featured couple in the next book, so you don't have to wonder. :D The book is well written. Alternating POVs. Easy to read. Due to the sexual content, it is suitable for mature readers.
Wow! Kylie and Knox’s story was an amazing hockey romance. From the first page, I couldn’t put this book down! Knox is in the process of divorce from his wife who cheated on him with his brother-in-law. He’s a bit bitter which drives some of the awful things he says when he first meets Kylie not knowing who she is which is Kirby’s (his teammate) sister. The first few encounters these two have are like oil and water which really added to this storyline. In true Natasha Madison fashion, she brings a story together that has the reader anxiously awaiting to see how the story is going to unfold.
Despite Knox’s bitterness, he is truly a good dad. His interactions with his kids will just melt your heart. Kylie and Knox’s banter is all over the map. These two enter into a no strings attached arrangement that quickly evolves. Their chemistry and spice is out of this world. This is a true page turner with extra heat level. These two can’t get enough of each other and they soon find their no strings arrangement turns into something deeper, so much so that Kylie really struggles to put her feelings into perspective and balancing her experiences with love with missing out on the love of her life. Knox stops at nothing in his pursuit of Kylie once he figures out how to provide her a safety net.
The dynamic between Kylie and Knox’s children was heartwarming. Despite her hesitance, she embraced this found family and they all became something magical! I loved Kylie’s strength and the protectiveness she felt over Knox. What a fantastic read!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Here we have a cheated on husband as the premise of the story, I am so used to the FMC being the aggrieved party this was a refreshing change. Knox was truly an amazing MMC I feel. His devotion to his kids, his team and his derision for his cheating wife was top notch.
Kylie was such a tough yet vulnerable character and really well written. Her snark and sass towards Knox especially in the beginning was incredibly entertaining.
When Knox fell, he fell hard but was all in. Kylie though has some trauma and personal baggage that made her hard to believe in love and that is what gave this book to gritty emotional elements to the story. The pages burned between them and this was definitely not a problem between Knox and Kylie, her inner criticisms and childhood really messed with her ability to understand what love is was heartbreaking at times.
I enjoyed the scenes with Knox’s kids, and how the oldest son struggled with the separation and finding out about his mother’s infidelity really messed with the pre teen. But it was handled well and Natasha didn’t make light of any kid feelings.
Knox’s family responses after the affair affected Knox and his sister’s life was disappointing, his mother still supporting the cheating now ex wife.
We got to see Viktor again as he had taken Kylie under his wing when he gained her brother as a son in law, except he still hasn’t agreed to his proposal to his daughter which is hilarious. Viktor and Kylie had a beautiful scene which put a smile on my face.
I genuinely loved this book and see it as one of my reread books of the future.
Tropes: 🏒Hockey romance 💛Sworn off relationships 🏒Single dad 💛Emotional scars 🏒Opposites attract 💛Friends with benefits 🏒Teammates sister 💛dual pov/narration
It’s no secret that if Natasha writes it I’m gonna read it. She has that great storytelling ability that pulls you in and keeps you engaged all while touching a bit on your emotions. Kylie and Knox absolutely did that.
Knox and Kylie were very beautiful to watch unfold. Neither of them were looking for love. But as we know love finds you when you least expect it. Both Knox and Kylie have their own reasons behind their scars and not wanting a relationship but to watch them fight it and it unfold was a sight.
Knox and Kylie their first meeting well let’s just say it didn’t go as planned and they became frenemies before they said 10 words. I love the fact that Kylie is a strong FMC and doesn’t let Knox get with it and is a take no crap woman.
Knox is often misunderstood and deep inside is all the emotions that he has and hurt due to his previous relationship. Knox was such a great dad to his kids and watching that along with the bond they forged with Kylie was great to see.
The audiobook is dual narrated by Gregory Salinas and Rose Disorio. And let me tell you…These two brought it. All the banter, emotion and chemistry. Gregory has a deep voice that was just perfect for Knox especially in the conversations with his ex that his emotions came out. Rose was equally just as great as Kylie. She brought out the sunshine and rainbows but also so much sass. I enjoyed this audio so much.
If you are a Natasha fan like me this is one you don’t want to miss out on.
The book was great. The story of Kylie and Knox captivated me. I devoured the pages in less than a day.
Knox an athlete and a loving father, discovers that his wife is cheating on him with his brother in law and that is changing the balances with his family and while he doesn't want a relationship,Kylie, his best friend's sister, comes in his life.
Kylie is strong and intelligent with humor and attitude.
What was so great about this book, you might ask and the answer is simply:it was beautiful.I lived the emotions, I laughed many times but was also moved by their story. The past and present were so good presented in the story that it was easy to follow all the emotions, decisions and choices from the characters.
The author, despite having written many books, manages to make each story unique. I absolutely loved the dynamic between the characters from all the books. Is great that we have the opportunity to see people from the series and view their lives in the new books. I love the family vibes and the connections as well. What stands out ist that all the female characters are strong and in this book there is no difference. Kylie is the perfect female main character in a book.
🏒hockey romance 🏒enemies to lovers (not exactly BUT..) 🏒Hot 🔥🔥🔥(some scenes live rent free in my head🫣) 🏒Single Dad 🏒Emotional Damage
I would like to thank Natasha Madison and her team for the opportunity to read the book early ❤️
( I write the above with respect to the author‘s hard work)
I absolutely LOVE a strong female lead that stands for herself no matter what but has the most beautiful ability to give them so much kindness they question everything. Knox had his life flipped on its side when he walked in on his wife and brother-in-law together (let me fix this for those questioning this is his sister’s husband). Three amazing kids are his whole life. It is always a gift to see the parent on page always show up for their kids and Knox is no exception. He misses the kids when they are gone and he will do everything he can for them, even during mediation with his ex. It is watching him as a dad that you know he is going to be the most amazing partner to Kylie, who needs love and support. Her life might have been difficult, but she knew her older brother would always have her back. So, watching Knox with her, showing up time and time again, yeah it is just a beautiful thing. There are moments when you are laughing so hard you are crying. I mean Knox sometimes really should just think before he speaks, but I love how Kylie uses those words against him. There is one quote from this book, that as soon as I read it, I had to stop and process it. Kylie says it during the gala for the Foundation that she co-runs with Kirby and Lexie. The Foundation is there to help people that are in verbal, emotional or physical situations (keeping this PG folks) and it is time to make the CHOICE to leave. Literally encompasses both Kylie and Lexie in that moment. This book hits some tough subjects, but written beautifully. I am excited to see what Natasha gives us next.
Only For Him is book 3 in the Only For series and it can definitely be read as a standalone. This one started off with such an emotional gut punch. My heart broke hard for Knox. Then Natasha made it all better with Kylie. It is very insta lust and very heavy on the spice in the beginning so I wasn't sure, but then the feels started to hit and I fell for them hard. They both had emotional trauma to deal with which made it actually make sense why they jumped into the relationship in the physical way so heavily. Natasha is always the best at making me feel all the emotions and I went through the ringer with this book.
Knox & Kylie have insane chemistry, the tension was so thick, their banter was so funny, I just loved them together even if they did hate each other 😂 I loved how they both grew and learnt to love themselves and each other in the process. I loved how their relationship evolved, how Kylie was with his kids and how she took no shit from his family. There were so many moments that made my heart melt.
Overall, this was a really great read that I completely devoured. A beautiful romance after heartbreak and learning to love and be loved. Can't wait for the next book!
🎧 The narration by Rose Diorio & Gregory Salinas was fabulous. I loved them together, their voices meshed perfectly. I thought Rose gave the perfect snark to Kylie and Gregory the perfect roughness to Knox. Their tones and emotions were perfect! Highly recommend the audio!
✨️ Thank you to @theauthoragency & @natashamadison for my gifted ALC in exchange for an honest review.
Only for him is the 3rd book in the Only For series, following our mmc who returns home early and catches his wife cheating on him with his sister’s husband. Slowly adjusting to his new life as a single dad to three kids while going through a divorce he meets our FMC Kylie, who happens to be his teammates sister at a team dinner. Knox not knowing who she is, he says something real douchey and Kylie being a badass as she is says something snarky back, which turns into both having a “mutal dislike” for eachother anddd boy does it get steamy
Oh my gosh, Knox and Kylie were so perfect. I really really loved reading them and how they both had that character development, Kylie i relate so deeply with her as someone with major commitment issues and i’m im awe of how she had fought her fears and really let knox in!! Knox? My sweet knox, i really felt for him and i’m sorry but how his family practically BLAMED him for his wife cheating on him really just made me angry for him!! Honestly he is the sweetest man and the love he has for his kids? I’m weak in the knees…. Kylie and Knox couldn’t have been any better for each other, they fit perfectly with the heartbreak & healing!! Their banter was incredible and the tension was simmering, it was such a beautiful love story!!
The audiobook narrated in dual style by Gregory Salinas and Rose Dioro was beautifully narrated i found my self giggling along with knox whenever knox was being playful!!
thank you so so much Natasha for sending me both a ARC and ALC
This book is part of a series, but it can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone. That said, knowing the full cast of characters from the earlier books definitely adds depth and makes the dynamics even richer.
The chemistry between Knox and Kylie is intense from the start. Their relationship is fiery, filled with sharp banter, sarcasm, quick-witted comebacks, and plenty of tension both inside and outside the bedroom. Kylie is a confident, strong female lead, though she carries an understandable layer of caution beneath the surface that makes her feel authentic and relatable.
There are some pivotal misunderstandings that leads to Knox making some frustrating choices, and yes—he absolutely has his jerk moments. Thankfully, he recognizes his mistakes and owns up to them, which adds growth to his character.
One of my favorite parts of the story was their getaway. It was hilarious and entertaining to read, even though I couldn’t help thinking that in real life I’d probably survive about five minutes of that trip myself.
There’s also some family drama on Knox’s side that adds emotional weight to the story. His parents’ behavior—especially his mother’s—left me with plenty of opinions.
The story is told in dual point of view, there’s no cliffhanger, and readers even get a small tease about who might be next. Overall, this was a steamy, entertaining read with strong personalities and plenty of sparks.
Only for Him, book 3 in the Only for series by Natasha Madison delivers a gripping, push and pull romance centered on Knox and Kylie—two characters who collide with equal parts fire, frustration, and undeniable chemistry. Their relationship is built on a love hate dynamic that feels raw and real, especially as the story digs into the emotional baggage each of them carries.
Kylie is the heart of this book. She’s battling demons that don’t magically disappear just because love enters the picture. Madison handles her internal struggles with sensitivity, showing how trauma shapes her choices, her reactions, and the walls she builds. Watching Kylie slowly reclaim her strength—while learning to trust someone who refuses to give up on her—adds depth to what could have been a straightforward enemies to lovers arc.
Knox, on the other hand, is the perfect mix of stubborn, protective, and unexpectedly tender. His frustration with Kylie never crosses into cruelty; instead, it highlights how deeply he cares, even when he doesn’t fully understand what she’s fighting. Their banter is sharp, their tension is electric, and their emotional breakthroughs feel earned rather than rushed.
What makes the story satisfying is how the HEA doesn’t come easily. Both characters have to confront their pasts, their fears, and their own flaws before they can meet in the middle. When they finally do, the payoff is heartfelt and well-deserved.
WOW!! This one started with a gut punch but then Natasha quickly makes it all better!! Knox and Kylie were perfect for each other! The chemistry and spice was on point and the banter was fun!
Knox and Kylie are not looking for love with both having some emotional scars they haven't fully recovered from. These two do not get off on the right foot and Kylie instantly goes on the defense. She doesn't let Knox walk all over her and I love how she takes no crap from him. She was sunshine with a bite! lol. The chemistry was so intense between these two and the tension was thick! They were opposites attract but with so much emotional connection. They completed each other in the best way. I loved how they had to fought for each other in the end. I loved that Knox's kids played such a big role in this story and how Kylie's relationship with them unfolded. This was emotional, sweet, spicy and full of swoony romantic moments.
AUDIO: This was narrated by Gregory Slainas and Rose Dioro. These two brought so much to this story! Banter, chemistry, and so many swoon worthy moments!! Gregory had the deep timber that made for perfecting Knox's character. Rose was amazing at Kylie. She brought so much sass and emotional depth. I enjoyed this one so much!

Natasha Madison blew it out of the park with this one. Only For Him is jam packed with drama, tension, attitude, healing, trust, and spice. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars was because the ending felt a little rushed.
The story starts off with Knox finding his wife in bed with his sister's husband... and that it's been going on for several years. He immediately leaves his marriage and focuses all of his attention on hockey and being a single dad. Until Kylie walks in, that is.
Kylie is the sister of Knox's best friend Kirby. She has never been in a relationship and swore at a young age that love was something she could never have. The only love she has ever known was from her brother. Until she meets Knox.
If you love sports romances, frenemies to lovers, and sassy FMCs, Only For Him is a must read. Did I mention the spice is SPICIN???
Now for the audiobook. Only For Him is narrated by Gregory Salinas and Rose Dioro, and they were a perfect choice! I absolutely loved how they brought the characters to life and did a fantastic job. Their enthusiasm was spot on. The only part I didn't like was when they voiced the opposite gender. Overall, I give the audiobook a 4.75 stars!
