ALLIE: I was supposed to be relaxing. After a messy breakup and years of putting myself last, a girls’ trip to Boston with no kids, no expectations, and a chance to finally see my favorite band in concert was exactly what I needed. But then I crashed my grocery cart into him—Jax Owens, lead singer of the band that’s been on repeat for as long as I can remember. Now I’m panicking, babbling, and trying not to melt into the linoleum while he looks at me as if I’m not just a walking disaster. He’s charming, kind, and way too good to be true. But even if he is interested, I’m not the kind of woman rock stars fall for… am I?
JAX: I came to Boston for business, not to fall for a gorgeous woman who smells like roses, radiates chaos, and is clearly carrying more than a few suitcases full of baggage. My life has been a mess with a recent divorce, loss, and so much regret that I haven’t felt like myself in a long time. But then Allie shows up and suddenly things feel... possible again. But I live on the road while she’s trying to put down roots. My life, my band, my home—everything is back in Cardiff. We’re only here to finish a deal, go on tour and get back home. But the more time I spend with her, the harder it is to walk away. And now I’m starting to wonder: what if the right thing isn’t in the plan at all?

Olivia writes contemporary romance with a focus on complex, often overlooked characters who deserve their moment in the spotlight.
It has been awhile since I’ve read a rockstar romance and this was so cute! I loved Jax and Allie together and getting to know them as characters individually. They both have struggled in life and in relationships specifically so to see them work through their past traumas together was so heartwarming. Despite some heavier topics, this book is generally pretty positive and like a breath of fresh air. We can’t forget about the ✨drama✨ happening in this book because not only is it juicy and keeps you sucked into the book it is also relatable to the readers. It isn’t too outlandish that it’s not believable which makes me love it even more. It does end on a cliffhanger but I cannot wait for the next book to come out!
Ummm... excuse me ma'am.... you can not leave me hanging like that....
Ok, first off, let me say, I was lucky enough to be a part of the ARC team for Don't Think by Olivia Tucker. From the first view of just the playlist I KNEW I was going to enjoy it.
I did not expect that right from the first page I was going to get sucked in. It usually takes me, at least, a chapter or two to get into the vibe of the book. I can not say the same for this book. Right away, you learn about the FMC. A single mom who is finally taking some time for herself with some friends. As a mother to a 9yr old boy I can relate about needing time but also missing your child all at the same time. Mom guilt is real and it's rough.
While on her vacation she meets Jax, the lead singer of one of her favorite bands, by literally running her cart into him at the store. Jax is dealing with his own heartbreak at the moment of their meeting but is immediately drawn to Allie, and with their continued run-ins, he has a hard time not thinking about her. Now, I won't spoil it for you, but things heat up in this slow burn romance. What started out as a possible "f*ck buddy" situation, quickly changed to something more. All respectfully, of course, because Jax wouldn't be any other way.
Now, single moms, members of a rock/metal band, throw an ex-husband in there somewhere, and what are you going to get? ..... Drama. and oh boy, is there some drama. I wanted to throw hands with a few of them at certain points on the book and then I had to remind myself.... it's a book 😆
It was such an easy read. I didn't find myself zoning off or reaching for something else to read. And I LOVED the hidden mention of one of my favorite bands and a certain flamingo named Jerry 😉
I can not wait for book two to come out. I'm ready to see what happens next.
“When I can’t see past the storm, when everything feels like it’s falling apart, I think of you—and suddenly, everything makes sense again.”
Please protect Jaxon Owens AT ALL COST! When Allie, a single mom, decides to go on vacation with her two friends the last thing she expects is to fall in love with the lead singer of her favorite band. Jaxon, who is barely holding on to his sanity these days, wasn’t expecting anything more out of America than a couple shows and to start working on his bands new album. When fate brings them together in the wine isle neither knew how much their lives would change! These two help one another more than just finding happiness.. they need each other to heal! Between the side characters, the storyline, THE CLIFFHANGER!? The book really did a number on me and I loved it. As a single mom this story realllyyyyy took my whole heart out. I really connected with Allie and her struggles with things like mom guilt.. wanting what’s best for your kids but also needing to remember you are more than just a mom. But JAXON!? Omg that man better get a New Book Boyfriend Application!
Secret dating, he falls first and hard, rockstar/single mom, slow burn, 1st PVO, dual
I am so thankful that Olivia gave me the chance to be an ARC reader for this book!
I don’t even know where to begin! I’ll start off by saying I absolutely loved the book!
Jax is kind of like your shy but compassionate rockstar who has the world on his shoulders while he’s grieving and going through what he is
Allie is your amazing single mom of 2 who is also on the shy side but is determined to find herself as a person and not just a mom and nurse
🔥It’s the kind of slow burn where there is a spark at the beginning that slowly grows into embers but when that spark finally turns into a full fire, IT. IS EVERYTHING! That wine scene 🥵🥵🥵
❤️ You will love Jax and Allie. You’ll want to hug them, fuss at them, knock their heads together, and love them even more
🌶️/5: there was some spice! But just enough for this story! Considering they started as fuck buddies the spice doesn’t take over the story
I just HAVE to give some credit to James! He is your hyper golden retriever! Can’t wait to read more about him!
And of course I can’t ignore the SleepToken reference where Jerry gets a small limelight in the book 🦩
But…… THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!!!! I need the 2nd book like yesterday!!!
For me, this started off as a cute little romance story. Something I thought would warm my heart and make my face hurt from smiling so much. While it did do those things, I didn’t expect the twists and turns this story took!!! And the ending had my jaw literally on the floor. So much so that I’m dyinnngggggg for book 2 already. I cannot wait to keep following Allies story!
Loved this book and I can’t wait for the next one!!! JAX IS EVERYTHING I related to Allie about so many things and understood her! THE END…. Ugh FUCK ———— not naming names because of spoilers but screw that person.
Listen, folks. I went into this book low-key expecting it to read like every other rockstar romance out there. Not because I don’t think Olivia is an incredible writer—I do—but because the formula exists for a reason, and it works. But this book reinvented the damn wheel and left me shocked and desperate for the next in the series.
Allie, the FMC, is relatable as hell. She’s a single mom navigating the guilt of being away from her kids while trying to rediscover who she is after becoming a parent. The grief she feels for her previous self—and the difficulty she has finding her way back to that girl, while accepting that she’s more than just a mom—is a primary theme throughout the book, and it feels so real. I might not have kids, but I’m a therapist and work with lots of gals who do, and this internal struggle felt both familiar and unique at the same time.
Throughout the story, Allie learns that her needs matter. That what she wants is important. That she deserves to put herself first once in a while. She grows from the knowledge that her littles are looking at her—and that she can’t pour from an empty cup.
Then there’s Jax. A rockstar who defies every stereotype. He’s emotionally intelligent, self-aware, painfully shy, and grieving the loss of the life he thought he’d have as he navigates both his divorce and the death of his mum. That grief is real, palpable. It comes off the page, nestles into your heart, and has you feeling for this man from the very first moment. His journey to finding himself is less convoluted than Allie’s, but equally raw and real. He grows alongside her, finds purpose in his music and in their relationship, and slowly comes back to life right before our eyes.
Main characters aside, every side character felt real and purposeful. They had distinct personalities, meaningful relationships, and their own challenges to face. The friendships were messy and real. The conflict? Intense and emotional. And the way their dynamics evolved as each person grew was beautifully honest.
This book is about finding ourselves in the aftermath of massive life changes. About learning to lean on our village. About giving ourselves permission to be selfish sometimes—because we deserve to have something just for us. And about finding home in the most unlikely of places.
It’ll keep you guessing from one page to the next—you won’t see the twists coming, and when they hit, you’ll be left reeling, questioning how you feel about everything and everyone. The ending will absolutely leave you needing the next installment yesterday—but you won’t regret picking this up.
Don’t Think by Olivia Tucker comes out August 12th. Preorder your copy direct from the author today (check her profile, she’s tagged)—you don’t want to miss this story.
From the very first chapter, I was hooked on Allie and Jax’s story.
Allie is such a relatable woman her struggles with identity, motherhood, and grief felt raw and real. Jax, wow…😍 what a MAN. He’s not the stereotypical cocky rockstar you’d expect. Instead, he’s shy, emotionally intelligent and so caring that you can’t help but fall for him. Watching him slowly open up and battle his own grief was heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.
And to think this is Olivia Tucker’s first novel, I’m so impressed. That ending completely caught me off guard and left me desperate for book two in the Lyrics from the Heart Trilogy.
Allie and her friends are having a girls vacation in Boston to reset and get away. They plan on seeing the band, Bottom Line and have a meet and greet. To her surprise, she meets lead singer Jax in the grocery store. They have an instant attraction to each other. They keep seeing each other out and their friends decide to all hang out. They grow closer and begin a friends with benefits relationship. Soon stronger feelings start to come out and they fall in love, pretty quickly. A tragic accident happens and Allie's life is turned upside down.
ARC read: Thank you so much Olivia for sending me a copy to read!
My thoughts: This is a debut?? Impressed!
I read this book in a day, such a good read and potentially got me out of a slump!
This is a really cute, unexpected romance with tender spice.
I loved the main characters and some of the side characters (especially golden retriever vibes James). Nora on the other hand, was annoying! But a great addition to the plot.
I loved the individual growth of both MC’s!
I found the FMC really relatable as a rockstar obsessed girly and weekly gig-goer in my younger days. I’m sure she’ll also be super relatable to all the mama’s out there.
The ending!!!! I need to know what happens next immediately.
I can’t wait to get my hands on a physical copy & for the next book in the series!
My only gripe: Jax is a Welshman and a few of the things he said I just couldn’t imagine someone from Wales saying.
“Don’t Think”?? Baby, I couldn’t think—Jax had my brain cells fried, my soul swooning, and my legs metaphorically (and maybe literally) shaking.
This book didn’t just speak to me—it grabbed my face, looked into my tired single-mom eyes, and said, “You deserve softness, passion, and a man who doesn’t make you repeat yourself.” And then it handed me Jax.
As a single mom myself, this book read like a personal call-out. The struggles? The guilt? The mental gymnastics trying to be everything for everyone? I felt seen. I felt EXPOSED. I considered sending Olivia the therapy bill.
And then there’s Jax. Oh, sweet fictional unicorn of a man, where do I order one of you? He’s patient. He’s kind. He worships the ground Allie walks on like it’s holy terrain and she’s the second coming. The man is the gold standard. And don’t even get me started on how seriously he takes consent—Jax doesn’t make a move without a verbal green light and a signed permission slip. It’s giving “yes daddy” but make it emotionally responsible. Honestly, he could teach a masterclass. He validates her like it’s his religion, and honestly? I’d tithe.
The real MVP message though? You don’t have to shrink yourself to be loved. You don’t have to morph into someone else’s fantasy. The right person will love you exactly as you are—mom bun, anxiety spiral, and all. That hit. That sang. It healed something in me.
So if you’re a single mom who’s ever felt less than, tired, or like romance is a distant myth from your pre-kid era… read this damn book. It’ll remind you of your power and that you’re not just someone’s Plan B or side quest. You are the damn treasure. And when the right man shows up, he’ll treat you like the prize, not the burden.
Waiting impatiently for the next one. Preferably with Jax in nothing but a towel.
5 ⭐️ read! I need to start this off by thanking Olivia for trusting me and allowing me to be apart of her arc team! I have never in my life related so heavily to a FMC like i did Allie! Metal girly who spent her teen years going to basement shows and concerts ✅ a nurse who puts everyone’s wants and needs before her own constantly and looses herself in the process ✅ a women forced to deal with her fertility issues and have to face a world you didn’t imagine because of this ✅ then… their was Jax. Who. Like my own husband listened, supported and NEVER gave up on me! This story was seriously so so good! I am in SHOCK that this is Olivia’s first book, just by how well written the story was and the development of the story throughout. Don’t even get me started on the cliff hanger that was that last chapter! This book was just truly so good and I’m already frothing at the mouth for the next book and this one isn’t even publish! Listen, in August yall are gonna wanna read this one! You won’t regret it!

This book, it has the ups and downs of adulthood, the single mom who is such an amazing human, a rockstar with a merry group of friends (James, I adore you) and the overall arch of finding yourself after grief.
I absolutely loved the love story. Whole it is a somewhat slow burn, but their relationship starts off strong. These two characters are just hooked to each other from first glance, and you find yourself going through everything with them.
You have Ally, the single mom who is learning how to find herself after a rough relationship and have an identity outside of being a mom. Then there is Jax, your shy rockstar who is in the depths of grief while finding this light (Ally). The group of friends was also one of my favorite parts. We have all been there with that one friend who you are really scratching your head at if they are really true friend and then that ride or die friend who has been through it all with you. Then there is the absolute golden retriever friend who you wonder if they need a leash to keep them out of shenanigans. You'll have to read to see who is who!
Fair warning: It does end in a cliffhanger, but it is definitely worth the read (and reread) for the 2nd book!
I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this amazing novel and am leaving a review of my own thoughts and feelings.
Firstly, thank you so much Olivia for giving me the opportunity to read this book as an ARC reader.
Secondly, I still hate you so much for the cliffhanger!! Like come on! My poor heart!
What can I say about this book? Olivia’s writing is so good, the story is well written, the characters feel so real! Jax is pure perfection, Allie is basically me (nurse, mum of 2, redhead), Ana is the best friend everyone deserves, James (my lovely James) is already one of my bookboyfriend! I’m not going to talk about the other characters because I don’t want to write any spoiler…
I highly recommend this book and I cannot wait to read the next one!!
Wow. “Don’t Think” completely swept me off my feet. From the very first chapter, I was hooked by Allie’s voice raw, relatable, and so authentically human. After everything she’s been through, watching her rediscover herself and learn to open up again was both emotional and empowering. And then there’s Jax sweet, patient, and quietly broken in his own way. The chemistry between them is perfection: slow, tender, and so real that I found myself smiling like an idiot one minute and tearing up the next.
The author did a beautiful job balancing humor, heartache, and healing. I loved how the story wasn’t just about romance, it was about connection and finding peace after pain. The writing flowed effortlessly, the dialogue felt natural, and the Boston setting gave it all a cozy, grounded charm.
The book cover is stunning too, it perfectly captures the gentle, hopeful tone of the story. This is one of those books that feels like a warm hug after a long day.
I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to read more from this author. Highly recommended to anyone who loves heartfelt, realistic romances that make you believe in second chances again.
I’m thankful to be part of the street team! This book took me on all kinds of adventures from what seemed like a fun romance to twists and turns I wasn’t expecting! And the ending - that ending took my breath away! Lots of great characters, especially Allie and Jax. I’d recommend adding this one to your TBR list.
When I saw the ad for this book on Facebook, there was a snippet about a flamingo being named Jerry from a band one of the girls liked. I love that band so, naturally, I wanted to read the book.
And this book did not disappoint.
I laughed, I cried with Allie, I wanted to give her the biggest hug after the altercation, I tried to yell at my Kindle at her and Jax, I felt pride for Jax and the boys in his band. I felt it all. Bonus points for the playlist and even more bonus points for the music taste. *chef’s kiss*
What really struck out to me about this book, and a big reason why I love it, is because within the first second, I could already relate. I’m a small town girl myself and don’t see myself living in the city. I love her friends, Ana and Nora, off the jump, but even from the beginning, I always took more liking to Ana. Maybe it’s because my name is Anna. 😏 I also really appreciate the shout out to the non-mom friends who always show up. As an Aunt/best friend myself, it’s hard to explain the love that I have for kids that aren’t even mine.
The good stuff really starts to happen when she bumps into Jax - literally. I fear I would just fall over and pass out right then and there. You can immediately tell that they’re going to be important to each other and it’s so cute to watch that connection grow.
I won’t go into all the details because I genuinely recommend this book and want everyone to read it. By chapter 2, we were already catching hints of the way our main characters just couldn’t stop thinking about each other. I still haven’t gotten over Jax saying he’s found a newfound love for the smell of roses. 😭
In chapter 5, there’s a quote that I highlighted and can’t stop thinking about. “That feeling of finally finding where you belong—it’s rare. But when you eventually do find your people, it’s like the whole world clicks into place. It makes you forget the moments you ever felt out of place, or the times you wondered if you’d ever fit in. Because here, nobody asks questions. They just accept you.” Concerts are my favorite thing in the entire world and this sums it up pretty perfectly.
Chapter 8, Allie and Jax bump into each other again and it feels like fate. This is the start to their stories. Girl, the rollercoaster you took me on with these two? Do it again 🤣
I could go on and on and ON about this book, but if this hasn’t already convinced you, surely the other reviews will. This book is spectacular. There’s a place for everyone here. The moms. The aunts. The friends who sometimes feel left out. The people who let fear and uncertainty dictate their lives. The dreamers. Musicians. Storm lovers. Long distance lovers. And especially for us, the readers.
Olivia, girl, you did a kick ass job. In case you can’t tell, I LOVE this book. Please let me be one of your ARC readers forever. Thank you for seeing me. I see you, too, miss ma’am, and you did that sh*t. 💅🫶🏻

MY FIRST ROM-COM 5 STAR OF 2025!!! Listen, this story had me dancing with the FMC, ugly crying along with the side characters and the twists had my jaw on the floor. This is such an epic story about a single mom fighting to get her spark back and finding love after carrying everything on her shoulders and beautifully depicts the struggles single moms go through to finding themselves and dating again as an individual.
The side character, Ana, being the voice of reason is *chef's kiss* . It's a very smart way to bring clarity into a situation that could have become frustrating if Ana wasn't there. Overall such a great story and I will DEFINITELY be continuing this series. Spice 🌶🌶
I absolutely freaking love this book so much. it is romantic, tear-jerking and it is beautifully written. After reading about Allie's car accident I just wanted to cry so much. Olivia did an AMAZING job with this book and I cant wait for what else she has in store. This is my all time favorite book, equally right up there with Ana Hazel's Drowning Lessons.

What it’s about… Allie was supposed to be on a relaxing holiday with her friends after a messy breakup and not looking after herself. A trip to Boston with no expectations, no responsibilities and to see her favourite band in concert is just what she needed. She did not expect to crash her grocery cart into Jax Owens, lead singer of the band she is absolutely in love with. She could not be more mortified, when he is so charming and way too good to be true. Surely, a rock star wouldn’t fall for someone like Allie.
Meanwhile, Jax is trying to figure out who this gorgeous mystery woman is who smells like roses, radiates chaos and is clearly working through a lot. Jax is in Boston to perform and record with his band, the last thing he thought he would be doing is falling in love especially after the disaster that was his last relationship.
Will they be able to make it work, Allie has a whole life, two kids she can’t just uproot and follow Jax around on tour can she? And Jax’s life is back in Cardiff, is he ready to move his home base, what about his band.
My thoughts… This book was a little different from what I normally go for, but when I read the blurb I was intrigued, single mum x rock stat. This book was jam packed with highs and lows, highlighting raw emotions that easily get swept under the rug. This book will pull at your heart strings and if you are an emotional reader get the tissues out, you are going to go through a LOT of emotions.
While there were moments I wasn’t able to completely relate to, not being a single parent or parent. It was refreshing to see a story for single mum that gives them the happy ending they deserve… Oliva we are getting the happy ending they deserve right!!! Spoiler there is a cliff-hanger, and my note on that was ‘Oooohh snap, that’s a dick move 😱. I think I’m gonna need a minute to process what I just read.’
I believe anxiety and overthinking is a common feeling. You may not have it all the time but at some point I feel most people have had some form creep in which makes this story relatable. Both Allie and Jax share a crippling anxiety that they work to overcome, it was nice to see anxiety being voiced from the guys mind to not just the female being anxious. Also highlighting how someone’s words can have such a negative impact on someone without realising it or the flip side how much we allow someone else's words to have power over us - spread the love guys.
Ok that may seem like a lot but all of this is wrapped up in the fantasy (or maybe it is someone's reality) of hooking up with a rockstar as a single mum. This book is definitely swoon worthy, I mean who doesn't want to be serenaded by a rock star. The chemistry between the two main characters is so good, their banter and the spice is hot. I can’t figure out if this is an ick for me or hot, but if you are into spit play there is a wine scene and that is all I will say.
— thank you to Olivia Tucker for the e-arc to review!
I think this is the first rockstar romance that I’ve genuinely really enjoyed.
Allie is a single mam who is struggling being away from her daughters due to her douche of an ex-husband. She’s trying to find herself again outside of her mam role and I really related to that. She ends up secretly dating Jax the lead singer of her favourite rock band. That is like every teenage girl’s dream. I loved it. I can’t decide who it would be for me? Maybe Bon Jovi or Jack Black, I’m old 😂 Jax is not your stereotypical rockstar. He was totally adorable and falls hard for Allie. I don’t know why but I totally imagine him looking like Yungblud.
I enjoyed the secret dating trope and all of the drama that goes with it. There are several moments in the book where I was like omg you did not just say that. You really get sucked into the drama. There’s lots of emotional scenes too. It’s brilliant. Then Olivia very cruelly leaves us on a jaw dropping cliffhanger that made me shout at my book 😂 I’m glad I’m on the arc team for book 2 as I need to know what happens asap.
Overall, this was 4 stars for me and 1 spice. I highly recommend and can’t wait for Louder Than Words.
“That’s what everyone deserves, isn’t it? To find their person. Someone who goes out of their way to show you how they feel. Not someone who hides behind excuses, pretending you don’t matter so you’re left questioning your worth.”
This book has consumed me the past couple of days. I loved living in the world of Allie and Jax, and getting to see the way their relationship blossomed. This book took me on a journey of living La Vida Loca and feeling so sad after the 80% mark. I’m so excited to read the next book “Louder Than Words” when it releases in 2026! My rating: 4/5⭐️ Smut: 3/5🌶️
If you haven’t already, you need to add this book to your TBR, ASAP! Its always on kindle unlimited or you can buy your copy now on Amazon! Or get a signed copy of “Don’t Think” via www.oliviatucker.com/shop.html
The rom-com set up of this story sets a great tone while getting to know the characters. The single mother meets softie rockstar is such a great combination in this book. With plenty of cute kick your feet moments as well as shocking turns, this story kept me hooked from start to finish. I’m a sucker for writing that perfectly describes those little moments like being at concerts or movie dates with the girls, which is done so well in ‘Don’t think’!
The friendship dynamics on both sides of this story were the perfect ensemble to add to the story. I would even say the friendships are probably equal to the romance which was so beautiful to read and experience.
The way this story unfolds and all the events a long the way has me on the edge of my seat in preparation for the second book in this trilogy
I signed up to be an Arc reader for the lovely Olivia for her book ‘Don’t Think’ which is going to be released on the 12th August.. THIS MONTH 😁😁 oh my gosh! I love a good romance book so I couldn’t wait to get into this book 😍 I finished it in less than two days I just couldn’t put it down! Let’s start with.. you cannot leave me on a cliffhanger like that!! This book is a slow burn contemporary rockstar romance with a touch of humour and heartache. You get to meet and fall in love with Jax and Allie who invite you for a ride of ups and downs with emotion and laughter. Jax is the guy who is the passionate rockstar who wears his heart on his sleeve whilst going through his own heartache. Allie is a single mum who takes a trip with her best friends to try and find herself and not be just the mum to her two children You get a sense of the slow burn early on in the book and you almost can’t wait for that spark to explode and when it does… let me tell you 🥵 🥵 🥵 I found the 🌶️ in this book just enough for the story as its just enough for this book, but at certain points you just wanted to shout at the two of them and tell them that they aren’t just fck buddies Single mums, a rockstar band, children, new partners and what else.. oh yeah.. ex husbands.. I wonder what will happen 😁 This book had my attention from the very first page, and that cliffhanger that we are left with I mean.. I need to be reading the second book like.. now!

This book had me craving going to a hardcore show 😅
The romance between Allie and Jax was so sweet and I loved being able to read about both of their lives and how they intertwined. You really do fall in love with them while you read the story 💕
As a mom, this book hit a lot more, with the inner monologue of being a parent and the guilt when you aren't near them. It had me tearing up at moments.
And that ending!!! I'm eagerly waiting for book 2!!
I loved this book and devoured it in one sitting. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that it’s Olivia’s debut because the writing and pacing were so solid and the single mom x rockstar dynamic was chef’s kiss. It does touch on some heavier topics (so check the trigger warnings). And the ending? I’ll be recovering until February when book 2 finally drops!!
This book had a unique storyline and pulled me in quickly. I liked the flow of the story and chemistry between the MCs. I love that this book touches on endometriosis. It is something that isn't talked about enough. I am so glad that I found this indie author. Her words cut me in the deepest way possible. That ending though! I can't wait to read the next book!
It didn’t take me long to fall in love with this story and the characters. Within the first few pages, I was hooked and had to force myself to put this book down. If it weren’t for school, I would have spent all day reading this book. There were many aspects of this book that I loved. Still, I especially loved the relationship between Allie and Jax and the way it developed throughout the story. Every interaction between Allie and Jax had me wondering what would happen between the two of them next.
I loved the dual perspective between Allie and Jax, which gave the reader a chance to connect with each character more deeply. I loved the way Olivia portrayed each character's emotions; I could feel every single one of them while reading. I think that meeting Jax is what Allie needed, what both needed. I am curious to see what will happen to them next. One of the things that I love about this book is that you can connect with most of the characters. I loved most of them, except for a couple, and I have mixed feelings about Nora.
Don’t Think is not a story that you will forget. I found myself thinking about it and telling my friends about it a few days after I finished this book. I was ready for the second book from the moment that I turned the last page—one of my favorite reads of the year, highly recommended. I cannot wait for Louder Than Words!
Jax and Allie are two char ters you wont forget. I love how real theae characters felt. Everything from their traumas to the raw emotions they felt were so well written that you actually felt for these characters. They were like people you could actually see in your life.
I loved the slow burn aspect of this book. What is one of the most authentic slow burn. Romances that i've read in a long time. It literally starts out with this subtle interest but takes time to truly develop. That's how it happens sometimes in real life so I appreciated that aspect. Trust me when it pops off well...it pops off in all the best ways. I'll just say sometimes things start with a bang but then you realize they need to smolder a little bit to become even better.
This was a four out of five star read for me and I highly recommend it for all romance lovers. I'm very happy that I received this arc.
