I really liked this storyline. It was such an interesting story. I felt bad for Audrey and the decision she had to make. Audrey wanted justice for her sister's death so she became a therapist to help people not knowing where that load would lead her.

What happens when you’re bound by law to keep a secret but every ounce of your sanity says you can’t. So many coincidental run in’s. Knowing the same people. I don’t know how she did it, I would have lost my mind way sooner than she had.

I loved this thriller. A Serial killer trying to get therapy! I really enjoyed the ending and I believed I even gasped at one point. I am not sure who recommended this book to me but I am glad they did!

Audrey's sister goes missing, no one knows what happened or if she's even alive. Audrey becomes a psychologist, so she can help others get over trauma. She then meets Ian, a new client, who both challenges and frightens her. Client/patient confidentiality means she cannot tell his horrific secrets, but man, they need to be told!!!! Ian is completely unhinged and addicted to dark acts. As more revelations occur about his depravity, Audrey starts to unravel....

Wow!!! I've not read a book like this particular setting before. I was fascinated and yet disgusted as the book progressed. I felt Audrey's angst - knowing she was bound by law to keep Ian's secrets. But, she paid a heavy price by continuing to see him as a client. Lines are definitely crossed, morals go out the window, and there's twists and turns and an ending I did not see coming!!!!

Thanks Brooke, I thoroughly enjoyed your book and couldn't put it down. A fantastic story about what happens when rules and morality blur.

As Ian and Audrey's lives become more overlapped, they become buried under secrets they can't seem to get away from. Will those secrets be the end to the lives they know?

This twisted tale was a great read. The different POV gave a true insight to each character and what drives their actions. My first from this author and I'm excited to check out more.

I loved this! Who doesn't need therapy! It would take a strong person to want to help someone like this. It stressed me out just reading about it!

I recently read The Secret Keeper by Brooke Montoya and it’s an easy 5 stars for me. She had me hooked the second I read “he was a police officer”
No spoilers, but this is a MUST read. It had me mad, laughing, and fully emotionally invested the whole time. One minute I’m giggling, the next I’m ready to throw the book against the wall. Perfect for a chaotic night of reading.
