If there's ever a character to root for, Dani is it. She is deeply creative and compassionate and neurodivergent -- all qualities her mother seems to lack and because of this, has made Dani feel "less than" all her life. Biss takes us into the mind of an adult with ADHD and shows us not only the challenges, but the strengths that this neurodivergent brain offers. I loved how much this story had to offer and the discovery Dani makes in the end is beautiful.
