Friends With Multiple Benefits

Rate this book
The "Friends" are back in book six, the next chapter in the Friends With Benefits series.

When newlyweds Jim and Victoria return from their Vegas wedding, Victoria dives full swing back into her sex therapy practice. With the addition of a new, let's call him, unique client, along with a couple of old surprise visitors, there is never a dull moment in the naughty professional's home office.

While Brian and Jillian are in full expectant parent mode, and with twins no less, Jillian's movie opens to great success. Just when the famous author thinks she's gotten Amanda Joseph out of her, and more importantly her husband's hair, the A-list actress returns and in a big way. With the continuation of Jillian's series of novels heading to the small screen, she's looking forward to the promise of a huge financial windfall, but will the price tag be too much to bear.

Will Jim and Victoria survive her new clients? Will Brian and Jillian have boys or girls or one of each? And will Jillian's movie's box office triumph be the end of her career or her marriage or both. Find out in Friends With Multiple Benefits.

Featuring expanded Ian Dalton scenes, this book is also the continuation of the steamier Victoria Wilde version of the series. The optional "Ian" scenes are easily skipable by readers who prefer the Luke Young variety.

Friends With Multiple Benefits (Friends With Benefits #6) by Luke Young
4 stars!!

“Let’s just have a good time tonight without ending up on TMZ…”

I have followed this series from the very beginning and Luke Young never fails to deliver a humorous yet steamy hot book. One minute you are laughing out loud and will have tears rolling down your face and the next you will be fanning yourself, with pursed lips, chanting WOW…

As usual this group of friends lead exciting, busy lives. Full of drama, fun and hot sex this is one series that has a little bit for everybody. Continuing on from book 5, Victoria and Jim finally got married, Jillian and Brian finally got pregnant with twins and Jillian’s book finally made it to the big screen. This is where this book begins…

Jillian and Brian have a lot to deal with in this book; Jillian’s morning sickness creates no ends of problems, especially with what used to be a very active sex life. Production begins on the film and this also creates no ends of drama, especially when one of the cast members takes a particularly keen interest in Brian. We have shower drama, tennis drama, storm drama, sex therapy drama…yet while I was laughing my head off at the some of the situations that Brian always seems to get himself into there were a few that totally made me freeze.

I have to say there was one scene where my heart literally dropped to my stomach…I was no, no, no, no, no just damn NO! I was a whisper away from messaging Luke Young to give him a piece of my mind. The trouble with these characters is that they are now like friends; I have been reading about them for so long, it feels as if I have lived their life alongside them. The story and characters have woven their way into my heart and soul and if they hurt, I hurt and if they laugh I laugh. It is rare for an author to be able to ingratiate their characters like that, but Luke Young has managed it with this series.

These two couples have such a close relationship, the situations are real, the conversations are real, their dynamic is real and their life is just real. I think it is this that makes it so relatable. I love Victoria’s no filter and that she just comes out and says whatever pops into her head. The chapters involving the parents-in-law had me uncontrollably laughing with side splitting consequences.

“You don’t know what it was like growing up with them. It’s a wonder I wasn’t scarred for life.”

If you want a book that will make you laugh your head off yet make you all hot and steamy at the same time, then this is definitely the series for you. I can highly recommend them.

“Let’s take down that b**ch.”

This whole series has been fun and inappropriately hilarious. The fun continues in book 6. Jillian and Brian are preparing for the birth of twins. Amanda Joseph is back and causing more trouble. Brian ends up in more embarrassing situations. Victoria is as over-the-top as always. Things wrap up very nicely in this book. However, I wouldn't be opposed to more books about these crazy friends.

Perfectly written!

Friends with Multiple Benefits was so amazing to read, just like the previous books to this series! It was so sexy and had tons of hilarious parts in the book- such as the jaw dropping new clients Victoria finds herself giving therapy to and the trap that Brian fell into by Amanda! Jillian and Brian had their twins and are taking their sexual relationship to new heights 😆. Oh.... and a twist with Amanda! The book overall was just so good to read and kept me wanting more!

Victoria and Jim get married in Las Vegas with their close friends Jillian and Brian in attendance. When they all get back from Vegas, Jillian and Brian try to adjust to her pregnancy and the issues it is causing to their sex life. Meanwhile, Victoria throws herself back into her practice as a Sex Therapist.

When Jillian’s best-selling novel gets turned into a film, she has more drama to deal with when an old nemesis shows up on set as a stand-in. But that’s not even the end of drama on set, the movie’s leading lady starts having issues with her tennis coach for the movie, Brian steps in to help her. What does Brian do when the actress makes a pass at him? Can Jillian trust Brian to not fall for the gorgeous leading lady?

Omg, I love this series. The situations each couple gets into individual, as a couple or as a group is hilarious and sexy all at the same time. Jillian and Brian are trying to navigate the changes in their relationship dealing with her pregnancy and everything that goes with it. The funny things that keep happening to Brian is beyond hilarious and I wonder if there can be someone that has as much bad luck as he does. The author had me laughing and crying at the same time with things that happened to him. I could completely sympathize with Jillian and her nausea she was experiencing.

I love how Victoria isn’t afraid to just say whatever she wants and just put things out there with her friends. She had all of this random knowledge on things that just makes you want to blink a few times and wonder how she knows this. I could see what drew Jim to her, she is someone that is hard to forget or let go.

I loved how real the conversations were, like it was entirely possible to be having these conversations with your wacky friend. I think the men in the each of the relationships are my favorite characters. They aren’t these super-alpha types, instead just men who enjoy sex, want to make their wives happy and somehow get through life the best that they can. Yet somehow have the funniest things happen to them and still manage to live to tell the tale even if it was extremely painful.

I definitely this book, but I would highly suggest that you start with book 1 so you can read about how both couples came to be together.

Wow! So Dumbo was truly psycho lol

I am extremely sad to say goodbye to these 6 very important people. I'm not sure if I will quite get past this time I have shared with them. I learned a lot from them (ex. Grapefruit Technique). There was a lot of laughs, tears, wetness, rolling around on the floor hilarity, out-of-breath guffaws, and good-natured chuckles.

Luke Young/Ian Dalton... If your reading this... Please, please, please give me more of these great characters.

Your loyal fan,

Natalie

Quirky!

These characters are not for everyone but I love them! I would totally enjoy hanging out with them. This installment sees all three couples settling into parenting. Jillian has her hilarious moments in the beginning of pregnancy which has poor Brian worried he may smell!!

Anyway, the book has many funny parts which tickled my sick sense of humor not appreciated by one and all.

I think this series is absolutely brilliant..I love the way Luke Young writes and I can't wait to pick my kindle up each night. I find the characters loveable and hilarious. The author is truly talented in my view..I intend to read all his work as I've been so impressed with these books. I've just downloaded book 7.

More of the Same

I truly enjoyed the first five books in the series, felt that book six wandered too much and this one was similar to six. Unfortunately, I've lost interest in the series but will ultimately read book seven, hoping that it finishes as strong as the the series began.

Again Brian?

Let me start by saying I absolutely loved the first 4 books in this series. I cackled like a hyena through most of those 4 books. Ladylike laughter was simply impossible! Maybe that's why I was so disappointed with this one, and Bk 5 too.

Probably the 1st 40% of this book felt a lot like filler. Victoria's therapy practice was the highlight up to this point.

By the time Amanda Jo began her shenanigans I was ticked off... mostly with Brian who needs to wise up. You'd think after his experiences with Nathalie he'd be less gullible and malleable. He's young, not stupid and over the course of 6 books, now the father of twins... I'd like to think he's grown. Apparently not. I'm so fed-up of him being either manipulated or stupid or taken advantage of and ending up naked in public. And I am tired of seeing people embarass and belittle him this way and his wife just shrugs it off.

On the flipside, Brian what are you doing? If I were Jillian, he'd get all my rage cause by now he should know the drill with Amanda and spot the shit storm coming from miles away.

Meanwhile, when did Jillian start regressing? She was a mature, confident, (for the most part) sensible woman and Victoria was the wild card. Now Jillian seems to be as bat shyte crazy as Victoria.

I loved the first 4 books but these last 2 have been pretty formulaic. I won't be reading book 7. I can only laugh so many times at the same joke.

Bring my beloved characters back or grow them so they are fun, a bit silly, but more mature than when we first met them. Pleeeeeease!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book for a blog tour and my honest review~

Luke Young does it again...another sexy funny installment in his Friends with Benefits series. When I say installment, I mean full size book.
Victoria and Jim get married in Vegas with Jillian and Brian in attendance and when they return Jillian has her book made into a movie. So now, along with the whole pregnancy thing they've got the added stress of a movie deal and actresses...hmmm.

Each book in this series is carefully crafted to engage all of your senses. They are funny and sexy with great characters and excellent story lines. I've loved this whole series and the funny sexy combo they have going on. Victoria has been my ultimately favorite character, I love her sexy attitude.

A solid 4.5 Stars for a great book (series) that's angsty, funny, light, humorous and all around great read!

I've really enjoyed this series.

Luke Young does it again! This book was so much raunchy fun for me that I just had to share parts of it with my hubby. I started reading scenes to him bit by bit. We enjoyed it so much that I wound up just starting from the beginning of the book! It's so great!

What a wonderful group of friends to hang out with (although NOT in public, at least not with Victoria - who I love!). I never wanted this book (or this series) to end. I truly care about these people. I love them and enjoy their antics. They seem so real... over the top, but still real! I have had friends over the years who were similar.

Luke Young has a way with words. He can write dialogue, situations, thoughts and feelings that are easy to relate to yet can be pretty extreme at the same time. I roar with laughter because it feels real. I love his books, all of them. I just 'get' him!

I recommend this book & the series to open minded adults.

This is book six of the series. Victoria and Jim tied the knot in Vegas and are returning home to get her sex therapy practice up and running. She has some stories to share from those.

Jillian movie is a hit and they want to spin it into a series. Amanda of course wants to work and cause trouble in Jillian's marriage. Victoria comes up with a plan to get Amanda out of there hair for good. Jillian and Brian have the twins and are adjusting to parenthood. Jillian, Brian, Victoria, Jim, Rob and Bridget meet to go on vacation with the kids and get to enjoy spending time together.

I must say that this has been a fun series to read. I love the story and all the fun mishaps that happen to the character's. I am glad they all got there happy ending. I hope we see more of them in the near future. A wonderful series Luke, nicely done. I look forward to read more books from him in the near future.

I was gifted a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

I am going to be honest, when I first got this book I thought how is Luke Young going to make this that good after 5 previous installments, and he did! It held my attention from beginning to end. It still had the great comedy, a little drama to keep you on your toes, and of course brilliant/hot/sometimes humorous sex.

I think Jillian and Brian are a really cute couple, and as I have said in other reviews, I love that their relationship dynamic is different from the norm. Victoria bugs me sometimes, but I think that is the point, and I like that addition to the story.

I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a funny/light read. While I am not one for so many books, if you break it up it is fantastic.

Well I received an ARC of this book and let me tell you that it did not disappoint. I mean not only was this book hot and steamy as hell it was super funny. Luke Young does it again. Jillian and Brian are a real couple with issues that you actually believe a normal couple would go through. As usual Victoria and Jim were very entertaining. I mean the chapter with Brian and Jims parents has me on the floor laughing. Also trying not to give anything away to those who have not read it yet but the sex scenes are super hot!!!!!!!!!! I really love how like able and relatable these characters are how it's also a very funny read as well. I totally recommend this book and the whole series for that fact........ I really would love to see at least one more book. THIS IS A MUST READ.

I can't remember ever reading a series of books that have made me laugh as hard as Friends with Benefits has!

Jillian and Brian find out they are going to have twins just as her movie opens and becomes a huge box office success. We also get a return visit from an old actress friend of Brian's (Jillian's not so much).

Jim and Victoria are back and Victoria's sex therapist business has really taken off. She as a new client with a very large appendage and I'm still am not able to get a picture of it and him out of my head. Victoria is also giving therapy to her in-laws. Which was very interesting to say the least.

I'm not sure if this is the last installment into these couples lives, but I hope not. I have enjoy reading them so much and will miss them until I re-read!

Friends with multiple benefits by Luke Young

5*****
Yet again I laughed through most of this book.

I have to admit I was wondering how Luke could come back with another book after the other five, but he has and it was fantastic.

Jillian and Brian are just like any normal couple with life like issues. Victoria and Jim are just themselves. This book has it all sexy, hilarious and some cute children thrown in to it. Plus a few new characters, Jim and Brian's parents are just hysterical. There is lots of crazy going ons I just couldn't put the book down.

This might be the last one in this series, but I really hope that Luke Young comes back with another.

I love this series. There are a lot of laughs, wow's and romance. The characters are well developed and have growth. Please read the series in order.
Overview. Well Jillian and Brian's babies are due. The movie is finished and she gets an offer she can't refuse. Brian gets some extra job duties since the movie is also being shot at the club. Victoria and Jim are still doing good. Victoria's practice is going well, but she now takes on Jim's parents as clients and they start exploring new things everywhere. Rob and Bridgett have a new baby and come out to visit. Cliffhanger at the end. But I already have the next book so I am ready.

This is the 6th book in the Friends With Benefits series. I usually get quite bored with a series when it goes on for ages, however this series is different. This book was just as funny as the first. I love Jillian and Brian, their relationship is different but it works. Victoria sometimes grates on me but I am addicted to her, she makes the book in my opinion. The option of choosing between Ian Dalton and Luke Young for the sex scenes is pure genius! I personally preferred Luke Young’s versions. Another amazingly funny 5 star read.

I read this whole series in 3 days. Great for the author, bad for my credit card, but will worth the read. Author is very descriptive and if you're looking for a quick read, not the books for you. However, found them very entertaining and well written. Great story line throughout all 6 books. I won't go into extreme detailing, but I seriously hope to see more of Jillian, Victoria, Brian and Jim.

I REALLY enjoyed this series. I was afraid it was going to be geared to a younger crowd only but it wasn't. The two main characters start out in their late 30's and you have you mix of younger cast. I thought the books, all of them in the series were so funny. It was a sexual comedy. It was a great light hearted laugh out loud read.
