This is a very easy book to read and understand. Lawrenz has some interesting approaches to not only understanding the Bible but ways to go about finding deeper meaning. It will stay on my bookshelf and be loaned out often.

God's Understanding


Mr. Lawrenz makes it very clear that the Bible is the word of God and God is the word. The more scripture we learn and read the better we will understand life past and future. By our faith God will lead us. I look forward to taken his advice on how to go forward reading the Word.

Was pleasantly surprised by this book! Mel Lawrenz takes us on a Jet tour of the Bible without sermonizing us and instead gives us a well written manual on good Bible interpretation and study ideas. Don't let the size of this book fool you!
