It was good and I liked how sweet the FMCs were toward each other, but I just didn't bond with the book as much as I hoped.
If you like short and sweet FF romance with some steamy scenes, you might like this one; it just wasn't for me. I did like previous works by this author.

Evin and Lucy are a great pair with amazing chemistry. Both are unique and interesting, possessing their own personalities and struggles, both of them bringing out the best in each other once they finally meet face to face. I loved their first face to face meeting. You can't help but root for them as their romance develops. Grace is an amazing storyteller and that shows again here with this fun and refreshing novella!

This was my first FF sapphic novella and it did not disappoint!
Evin is such a compelling narrator—sharp, observant, emotionally guarded yet desperate to connect. You can feel her carrying the weight of unspoken things, trying to navigate the thin line between desire and danger, intimacy and instability. Lucy, on the other hand, is magnetic in her own way—carefree on the surface but layered with contradictions. She’s a character who floats just out of reach, which makes the way Evin clings to her presence feel all the more powerful.
Their relationship is the heart of the story: two women drawn to each other with a kind of gravitational force, both wanting and fearing what the other represents. It’s tender and charged, filled with silences that say more than words, with affection that often feels inseparable from pain. The intimacy between them is so raw and vulnerable that I often had to pause and breathe.
You can't help but fall in love with their love!

WOW! What a juicy novella! This book delivers on its title by being soooo sweet, with more than a dash of sexy built in for good measure.
FF romances can be tricky, with the leads blending together, however, Grace Turner manages to create two strong, unique, interesting women, that you can't help but root for!
Evin and Lucy are adorable and their love story was both endearing and refreshing!
Always so impressed with Grace's work!

Goodness gracious! Aside from being too Sweet of a read, this book is also a scorcher!! Lucy and Evin are a perfect balance for each other. I loved that there was no third-act breakup. This book is all about two women admiring each other's work, developing into a friendship, and finding the love of their life.

It was perfectly fine. Didn’t love the UHaul lesbian stereotype being so prominent and the fact that the first sex scene took place over SEVERAL chapters and POV switches. It took me out of it and really drove down the heat of the moment - it felt like I dragged on even though the entire book is just over 100 pages

I liked the dynamic between Evin and Lucy, and I am happy to be in my sapphic romance era again. I always enjoy this author so it should have been no surprise that I would enjoy this novella.
This was a quick and fun read with I'd say 2-2.5 chili peppers worth of spice :)

Too Cute is 100% correct! This story was fast paced and full of excitement. I loved the aspect of an author and an actor. Their love story is one to beat! Grace Turner knocked it out of the park, yet again!
