He’s New York’s coldest billionaire CEO.

And I just accidentally became his daughter’s nanny.

To be clear, I didn’t mean to become anyone’s nanny.

There was a coffee shop.

Some bunny-shaped foam art.

And a serious case of mistaken identity.

Now I’m working for Sullivan Beaufort.

Grumpy. Guarded. Sinfully handsome.

And CEO of Beaufort Diamonds.

He’s a self-proclaimed Love-Hater, haunted by a family tragedy that left scars too deep for anyone to reach.

He doesn’t want a nanny.
He definitely doesn’t want me.

But where he is sharp edges, brooding silences, and late-night piano melodies soaked in grief… his two-year-old daughter is belly giggles, mischief, and sticky fingers that have wrapped themselves around my heart.

One minute we’re baking cookies.
The next, I catch Sullivan watching me like I’m both his biggest regret…

and his greatest temptation.

This job was never meant to be forever.

It was stop-gap. A paycheck I desperately needed.

But now?

I don’t know if I can walk away from the man who swears he’ll never fall in love…

Because the music he plays sounds like his soul is begging him to be wrong.

And if I listen closely enough, maybe I’ll finally understand what he’s been afraid of all along.

I know one thing for certain…

When this song comes to an end, none of us will ever be the same.

(Perfect for fans of grumpy billionaire romance, accidental nanny chaos, and slow-burn tension that turns toe-curling hot. Featuring a brooding, piano-playing single dad with a tragic past, a fearless heroine with a heart full of sunshine, and a toddler who just might be the reason they both fall.)

I like the Nanny trope but this one got bogged down. It was way too long-466 pages—to Keep the momentum going. I probably skimmed through 150 pages. I was a bit lost in he beginning about the deaths of his Mom and brother. I haven’t read any other books by this author. There were some things that TV didn’t make sense like his big secret that would supposedly be too hard for the fmc to bear. Then you have a lot of jobs between these two. A Diamond broker, billionaire piano player and a barista, nanny, famous song writer, entertainer. Seems like it could have been trimmed down. Throw in a lot of little kid stuff and other family members, friends with a side of heavy grief and there’s a lot going on.

I wanted Daddy Sullivan for so long and Elle delivered him beautifully!!

I adored Tate with my whole soul!! She was the definition of a dreamer, she was incredibly patient and caring with Molly, and she also didn’t take Sullivan’s grumpiness laying down. I loved how she was not intimidated by him, like most everyone else in his life, and I further loved how she made him work for her!! Tate is proof that strength does not always come in brooding and grumpy packages. Her bubbly personality and her caring attitude towards Molly were really endearing and made me love her so much! And I can’t get over how after everything Sullivan threw at her, she STILL grounded him during his grief-riffled panic attack, loving him while he broke apart in her arms. SHE WAS A REAL ONE!!!

Of course, I loved broody Daddy Sullivan. He was incredibly possessive of those he held near to him: definitely Molly and eventually Tate. He was the kind of guy who didn’t care what he had to do, he would move heaven and earth to keep his daughter, who was dropped on his doorstep, safe and happy. I loved watching this incredibly jaded and shut off man fall for the accidental nanny just a little bit more every encounter they had. Sullivan definitely had his grief journey through this story, and I really just wanted him to get the HEA he deserved.

I loved how the story ran concurrent with Sinclair’s story, book 3 of the series The Rule Breaker. It was fun to see how timelines synced up and see other POVs of scenes we got in book 3. And I also loved how we got a bit of a second love story with Tate’s coworker, Ashley, and her billionaire beau, Huck.

AND THAT TWIST!!! Ma’am, are we going where I think we’re going in the next book??? Oh man, I seriously can’t wait to get updates on book 4!!

Finally, I know we’re getting one more book in this series, if Goodreads is correct at least lol. But I’m going to need a Jones spin off, as well as a Rafe spin off!! I absolutely loved how Jones flirted with Tate to bug Sullivan and really want to see him end up with someone just as great as Tate. And I have so many questions about Rafe and his sister’s best friend!!

Thank you to Elle Nicoll for the opportunity to read this book. The thoughts and opinions expressed above are honest and my own.

4.5 stars!

I devoured this book in less than 24 hours- I couldn’t put it down! One of Elle’s best books yet, this one is a real page turner.

We’ve seen Sullivan and his daughter Molly throughout this series but now it’s their turn for their story to be told and what a beautiful story it is. Sullivan appears closed off and grumpy, and he did frustrate me at times early on but once you understand why he’s like that it all makes sense.
Tate is a barista and song writer who Molly takes a shine to and starts helping look after her when the Beauforts can’t. What begins as a business arrangement turns in to so much more. I really liked her character.

I love how strong the family bonds are between the Beauforts and that shines throughout the series. We find out more about their past and current worries as more secrets are revealed. Another great instalment from this world!

Thank you Elle for this ARC!

The Love Hater was another excellent addition to the Beaufort Billionaires series. The relationship between Sullivan, Molly, and Tate was just everything. There were so many layers and elements to this story the fun and spicy side and then the more emotional and dark side which all added so much dimension to the story. I really enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to see what’s next. Happy reading!

The reason to push her away in the manner in which it was done doesn’t make much sense. Tge book tanked for me after that. The drug addict birth mom could have been spilling the beans all over the place anyway since they didn’t keep tabs or pay her off or have her sign the rights away with the billions they have???

The whole Thursday hotel hookup thing gave me the ick as it was referenced a lot and the intro to the mmc didn’t really help. Leaving the card out was a dick move. Then go to all the concerts???

Why couldn’t she have enjoyed herself on tour while nursing a broken heart..I don’t understand why it was written that way to make the fmc pathetic on purpose

I was lucky enough to get my hands on an ARC for this book in exchange for an honest review. I applied after reading books 1 & 2 as I'd fallen for The Beaufort Billionaires.

The what to expect from this book reads as...
'Perfect for fans of grumpy billionaire romance, accidental nanny chaos, and slow-burn tension
that turns toe-curling hot. Featuring a brooding, piano-playing single dad with a tragic past, a
fearless heroine with a heart full of sunshine, and a toddler who just might be the reason they
both fall.'

Does it live up to that? 100% and then some. I was blown away by this book and found myself sending DMs to the author on Instagram at key points to basically squeal with excitement. (ps I'm not the squealing type)

Elle Nicoll absolutely nailed Sullivan's story - it was a page-turner and would have been read in one sitting if it weren't for travel plans. Elle created the perfect grumpy billionaire who manages to be hot, sexy, swoony, romantic, thoughtful, caring, and at times delightfully infuriating (I think it comes with all the best billionaire hotties).

The Single Dad and Nanny trope is one of my favourites out there particularly if there's a billionaire involved - why? well when it's done right there's usually a wonderful switch of power somewhere along the way where it becomes apparent that the leading lady absolutely owns the MMC and brings him to his knees when he realises that he loves her - something the author has done superbly!

Elle Nicoll has crafted a book you'll return to again and again because of the power in her storytelling. Sullivan is suitably hot but his leading lady, Tate, also has substance. She might be a curvaceous redhead who is super sweet to his daughter Molly (some of my favourite moments involve them together) but she also stands her ground with Sullivan and refuses to back down at times. It's always great when you encounter a strong heroine who is also so likeable that you'd want to be friends with her or work alongside her

I also loved seeing Halliday and Sterling, and Sinclair and Denver make small appearances throughout the book. I love this family so much The Beaufort Billionaires was one of my nominees for Best Series in 2025 in my end of year Romance Bookstagrammy Awards 2025

Would I recommend this book?
Absolutely - it's one of the best billionaire series out there and trying to find a hotter cast of characters with superb storytelling might be difficult. I can't wait for the conclusion of this series as I know there's going to be fireworks!

This story surprised me in the best way. The connection between Tate and Molly was a true highlight—genuine, heartfelt, and deeply meaningful. Watching Tate step into their lives and become part of something bigger added real emotional depth.

The dynamic between Tate and Sullivan was intense and addictive. Their chemistry was undeniable as they fought their attraction, and Sullivan’s struggle to stay away from Tate made their romance even more compelling. Seeing how his world shifted once he let her in was incredibly satisfying.

The growth—both individually and together—really stood out. Tate came into her own, and her relationship with Sullivan felt earned, emotional, and strong. Combined with returning characters and a strong sense of family, this was an easy 5-star read for me.

Thank you to Elle Nicoll for the ARC of The Love Hater. It was everything I hoped for, and I can’t wait to read more.

This is the 3rd book in the Beaufort billionaires series and follows Sullivan Beaufort and Tate Miller. This was a pretty solid addition to the series but I’m not sure it was what I expected based on the previous books and the introduction to these characters. I knew there was more to Sullivan than we knew and Molly is just precious! Their daddy/daughter relationship was swoon worthy. I will admit I’m not a big fan of the nanny trope, but it wasn’t badly done. Sullivan was a grumpy @sshole in the beginning, which Tate was always quick to call him out on, but watching him soften and start explaining his actions was one of my favorite aspects of the book. I appreciated that even though there was a misunderstanding on Sullivan’s side about Tate’s background it didn’t cause issues between them and they moved on from it quickly (nothing worse than a miscommunication trope!). The spicy scenes were well written and delicious, but not over the top. There was a piano scene I was especially fond of lol. There was a fair amount of groveling which I enjoyed, especially since Tate didn’t just fall in line with big gestures. She stood up for herself which we don’t always see in these books. There were a good amount of plot twists that kept me on my toes and I loved them!

I’m looking forward to the next book. I’m assuming it’s Slade’s book. I’ve had a feeling since the first book he isn’t actually gone.

“I want more…
I want my heart to race when I see him…
I want my spine to tingle, knowing he’s close… I want a rush when I lock eyes with him and see the way he looks at me… I want… I want something that’s almost frightening because of how intense it is.”

The Love Hater is book 3 in the Beaufort Billionaire series, and I devoured this in one night with absolutely zero regrets. I absolutely loved it. Elle Nicholls has a way of keeping you completely hooked, and this book was no exception edge-of-your-seat reading from start to finish.

At the heart of this book is Sullivan Beaufort, CEO of Beaufort Diamonds and a devoted single dad after his daughter is unexpectedly left on his doorstep with only a note. Then there’s Tate Miller, who works in the coffee shop next door and dreams of making it as a songwriter. Their worlds collide in a way that feels layered, emotional, and full of surprises, keeping the story engaging throughout.

The chemistry between Sullivan and Tate was undeniable. Watching them fight their attraction, especially Sullivan’s inner battle to stay away from her, made their romance even more addictive. Their individual growth, as well as how they grow together, really stood out and added so much depth to the story.

One of my favourite parts of this series is the Beaufort family dynamic, and it remains just as strong here. The new characters introduced in this book were a brilliant addition, bringing humour, warmth, and unwavering support for Tate. The banter alone had me smiling more than once.

This is an easy recommendation and another standout from Elle Nicholls. She consistently delivers top-tier billionaire romance with rich storytelling and unforgettable characters. I’m already counting down to the final book because I’m expecting absolute chaos in the best way. While this can be read as a standalone, I’d highly recommend starting from The Matchmaker to get the full Beaufort experience.

I want to start off by saying that the first two books in this series were amazing and I enjoyed them .

This book on the other hand was terrible to say the least. The characters, the pacing and the dialogue left much to be desired.

The composition of this book was where this book really disappointed me the most. it was just not well written. The plot itself was excellent and I will give credit where it is due. But anyone can have a good idea but putting that into writing is a different thing.

Second to the composition was the pacing, if you read this book you cannot tell me when the two main characters developed a relationship. There were just moments of random trauma dumping. when it came to physical chemistry at first the writing was giving slow burn and then all of a sudden the fire is burn from 0 to 100 there was not enough drawn out tension and do not even get me started on the Masked BS, it was kind of useless and unnecessary in my opinion.

This was a book with a plot that had so much potential with just terrible execution.

All Aboard!!! Elle’s about to take you on a wild ride with this one!!!
Daddy Sullivan was everything I didn’t know I needed! Broody, Filthy Mouthed, the best dad to Molly and down bad for my girl Tate!
My sweet girl, Tate, is out here taking care of everyone and falling hard for the grumpy single dad and his daughter.
These two fought hard for their HEA and I’m so glad they got it. They’re literally perfect for each other. Especially in the bedroom or on the piano! 😉

Theo and Maddy did a FANTASTIC job narrating this book! I’m pretty sure my phone melted during the spicy scenes!! These two are phenomenal separate and even better together.

What. A. Ride!!! I knew Daddy Sullivan was going to be a journey, with his broody vibes, unreadable expressions and heart locked in a vault - but the way he fell was perfection! Does he make mistakes? Oh boy, yes! Does he make things right? 🫠💯 Molly is absolutely adorable - and so easy to love, especially for Tate. Tate is strong, knows her worth and isn't afraid to stand up for herself - even if Serious Sullivan is intimidating. The way he speaks to her though - 5 alarm fire! He is obsessed with those curves! But beware - there are shocking twists in this road to forever that will blindside you. Make sure you are ready before you dive in with chargers, drinks, snacks, extra batteries and about 10 hours free time (especially for the audio which is better than a movie).

There was some real plot twists in this that I didn’t see coming and it was just so beautifully written that I cried my eyes out. Sullivan and Tate are just so perfect for each other and the way he falls for her when he’s this brooding grumpy CEO is just everything!! “Perfect for fans of grumpy billionaire romance, accidental nanny chaos, and slow-burn tension that turns toe-curling hot.” Does it live up to that promise? 100% — and then some.

I was completely blown away by this book. So much so that I found myself sending unhinged DMs to the author at key moments just to squeal in excitement… and for the record, I am not the squealing type.

Elle Nicoll absolutely nailed Sullivan’s story. This was a true page-turner and would’ve been a one sitting read if travel plans hadn’t gotten in the way. Sullivan is the perfect grumpy billionaire brooding, piano-playing, fiercely protective, and layered with grief and responsibility. He’s hot, swoony, thoughtful, caring, and yes… delightfully infuriating (which honestly comes standard with the best billionaire heroes).

Sullivan is the CEO of Beaufort Diamonds and a devoted single dad to Molly. His backstory is heavy, emotional, and deeply impactful. After the tragic deaths of his brother and mother, his entire world is built around control, security, and protecting what little family he has left. Each book in this series continues to peel back the mystery surrounding those losses, and it adds so much depth to his character.

Enter Tate sunshine in human form. She’s thrust into their lives via coffee, coincidence, and a very questionable assumption about her nannying skills. From the very first meeting, the bond between Tate and Molly is instant and heart-melting… and the attraction between Tate and Sullivan is equally undeniable and incredibly inconvenient. Watching Sullivan fight his feelings while clearly losing that battle was addictive.

The chemistry between Tate and Sullivan was intense, slow-burning, and emotionally charged. His struggle to stay away from her made every moment they shared even more compelling. Seeing how his world slowly shifted once he let Tate in was incredibly satisfying.

What truly stood out was the growth individually and together. Tate comes into her own, Sullivan learns to loosen his grip on control, and their relationship feels earned, emotional, and strong. Add in returning characters and a powerful sense of family, and this became an easy 5-star read for me.

Thank you to Elle Nicoll for the ARC of The Love Hater. It was everything I hoped for and more—and I cannot wait to read what comes next.

This book didn’t just break my heart.
It claimed it.
Sullivan Beaufort is the kind of man who wears his grief like armor. Cold billionaire CEO, sharp edges, closed-off heart, and a past so heavy it echoes through every piano note he plays late at night. He calls himself a love-hater, and for a while, you believe him… until you don’t. Until you see the cracks. Until you hear the music. Until you realize his soul has been begging to be loved all along.
And then there’s Molly. Sweet, mischievous, sticky-fingered perfection. That little girl wrapped herself around my heart and refused to let go. The way she becomes the bridge between two broken adults is beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable. Daddy Sullivan? Absolutely elite. Tender, protective, quietly undone by his daughter and the woman who cares for her.
Tate is pure sunshine wrapped in resilience. Her accidental-nanny chaos made me smile, but her heart made me ache. She walks into Sullivan’s carefully controlled world with bunny foam art energy and slowly, gently turns everything upside down. Watching her love Molly so fiercely while refusing to force her way into Sullivan’s heart was powerful. She doesn’t save him. She gives him space to save himself.
The slow burn is exquisite. Lingering glances. Shared silences. The weight of everything unsaid. When Sullivan watches Tate like she’s both his greatest regret and his greatest temptation? That tension is deliciously painful. Every moment feels earned. Every step forward matters.
Elle Nicoll writes grief with honesty and love with patience. This story is about healing, about found family, and about learning that loving again doesn’t erase the past. It honors it.
By the time the final note played, I was wrecked in the best way. Sullivan, Tate, and Molly aren’t just characters. They feel like family. This book stitched my heart back together differently than before, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
If you love grumpy billionaire single dads, accidental nanny romances, slow-burn tension, and stories that leave a permanent mark on your heart… The Love Hater is unforgettable 🖤✨

Elle once again raises the bar for amazing stories! This one was one of the best books so far. I have never gasped so loudly at a twist in a book, and this one is a doozy!

Sullivan Beaufort is a single dad and the CEO of Beaufort diamonds. He was made a single dad when his gorgeous daughter was left on his doorstep with a note and his fiancée promptly decided that the insta mum life wasn’t for her.

Tate works at the coffee shop next to Beaufort Diamonds and is an aspiring song writer she loves the piano and is enthralled by the masked maestro who plays piano all over New York city (this gave me mega Sleep Token vibes…..But i am obsessed with Sleep Token so yeah). She looks after her dad and works with her friend Ashley.

Sullivan is very protective of Molly and likes to keep her close while he works usually his assistant looks after her, but she is off work, and he needs someone to help out. She tells him about the girl in the coffee shop who is a kindergarten teacher and one day he is in the coffee shop with Molly and Tate is super awesome to Molly and draws her a bunny on her drink and Sullivan asks her if she could help him out for a bit while he makes a call.

Tate does and he starts asking her to help out more (around her shifts at the coffee shop) and slowly Sullivan starts thinking more long term even tho that scares him. Molly’s mum is an addict who wants nothing to do with her and only annoys Sullivan when she wants money (I’m devastated that her name in this book is Natasha not all Natasha’s are bad just FYI). This does not end well and no I don’t want to give it away.

Tate and Sullivan’s story is bittersweet they have both faced the loss of loved ones and they both are amazing piano players. Sullivan needs to learn to trust and allow himself to love. Tate loves him and his daughter but struggles when Sullivan pushes her away.

Elle does what she does best in this book and rips your heart out with a twist and a story about how grief shows up in different ways. There is a part in this that brought tears to my eyes it was so sweet and shows how much a brother can be missed.

The Love Hater By Elle Nicoll ARC Review

Tate was such an incredible inspiration on Molly, and I really liked the intense bond they shared between each other like mother and daughter. I thought they both were such good influences on each other when they came together to be friends and learning to grow as a family it felt great to read about their bond growing.

My feelings about the relationship between Tate, and Sullivan that it was even better than the last one and I was so glad to be reading about the Sullivan family and getting to read about how the intense attraction and trying to convince themselves they can leave the attraction alone.

I’m once again glad to love Sullivan’s story where he was trying to distance himself from Tate and it couldn’t stop himself from falling for her and seeing how much his lives and his daughters has impacted since he let Tate come to be with his family.

I really loved seeing Tate’s character grow throughout the story it reached a certain standard of chemistry her and Sullivan that unlocked thoughts and feelings that made them grow stronger together while being together along with the good relationship with the side characters.

After reading and devouring this story I could now say my favourite parts were reading about their bond growing relationship growing between Molly, Sullivan, and Tate that made them shine such as a couple should and the way they were so driven towards each other and it’s what made me give this 5 star read and what else made me give it a 5 was reading about their bond growing family and the past characters I’ve read in the past to seeing how their relationships between each other turned out.

Thank you Elle Nicoll, for an ARC of The Love Hater I’ve been dying to read this story and it didn’t disappoint. I loved everything about this story and can’t wait to read more from you!

Wow wow WOW....this was absolutely AFRIGGENMAZING......I loved his father, Sterling's book, but Sullivan's story was something else. The absolute angst in this book at times broke me, and Sullivan, behind the grump that we have come to know from the first two books, has so many complexities and layers that I loved about him. Sullivan is a single Dad to Molly and this relationship was just perfect.

Sullivan is the CEO of Beaufort Diamonds, and a fierce single Dad to Molly, and what a back story there is. He is brash, cutting, and takes no prisoners. Everything in his life is structured and planned, as it needs to be, and he would lay down his life for Molly. Since the death of his brother and mother, the whole family has been very security orientated, and each book to date has uncovered alittle more of the mystery behind their deaths.

Tate is thrust into their lives thru coffee, and an assumption of her potential nannying abilities, but from the very first meeting, there is an undeniable connection between Tate and Molly.....and an unfortunate attraction which sees Sullivan all the more surly. He cannot even entertain anything such as love, as Molly is his number one priority.

With a connection thru music, and more than just a physical connection, these two together is enough to foam ANYONES's milk, but there is a past and present for Sullivan that is set to collide, threaten and undermine everything he is. He said he would never fall in love..... And, with the twists ensuing, and the hurt between these two, I literally held my breath. I absolutely loved everything, EVERYTHING about this book, and I already love Elle's writing, but this and Book 1 in this series are two of my standouts from her. I waited impatiently for this and was NOT disappointed.

Spice:🌶️🌶️🌶️

I couldn’t put this book down for even one second! Sullivan had intrigued me since book one with his gruff exterior towards anyone not immediately in his family, so when I saw we were getting his book I couldn’t wait to start reading! And oh my goodness I simply couldn’t put this book down. I had to know what was going to happen next between Sullivan and Tate! I fell in love with them individually and their chemistry together immediately! Sullivan is a rough and gruff character who has no time for frivolity, he’s got a business to run and a daughter to raise and no time for useless things like feelings… that is until he runs into Tate, a sassy, fun-loving, heart of gold waitress who has big dreams and an even bigger heart. And Sullivans obsession starts almost immediately, because while he never deemed feelings necessary Tate makes him feel things he hasn’t in quite a while. Things are not smooth sailing for these two though because while their chemistry might spark off the page, when you’ve locked your feelings behind a steele wall your bound to fumble every once in a while when you let them out and Sullivan fumbles in some spectacular ways. And watching this slow burn, grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract romance play out was beyond beautiful and I seriously can’t wait for book four. So if you’re in the mood for a book that has emotional twists and turns, plenty of spice, banter galore, so much romance, quite a few swoon-worthy moments, characters you can’t help but love, and a happily ever after then I highly recommend grabbing a copy of Love Hater today and the entire Beaufort Billionaires series!

Thank you so much for this amazing ARC Elle Nicoll

Oh Elle, this book was everything I love in my books. The moment I met Sullivan in book one I just knew I would fall for this book hubby. Everything about book 3 in the Beaufort Billionaire series was more than I expected.

Our FMC, Tate, is a beautiful red headed curvy girl that is so relatable in every aspect. She has her insecurities and is just trying to get through life. She works at the coffee shop that happens to be next door to Beaufort Diamonds offices and storefront. Sullivan (MMC) goes in for coffee and that is where they first meet. He brings Molly, his daughter to work at times and one morning Tate and Molly have a heartwarming interaction while taking their order. Sullivan is in a bind as his daughter's nanny has to take a leave of absence to see about a family member and Tate is highly recommended to take the nanny spot. Sullivan, however, does not know until the day of the interview and recognizes her. He can see his daughter has a soft spot for her and is open immediately to her softness and sweetness. He hires her but Sullivan is a man that does not open his life and daughter to anyone. He is VERY protective of Molly (his daughter). As time goes on, Sullivan can see that Tate is not just any woman he is used to being around, she is very unique and comes with many surprises. She brings out the good in Sullivan but also his deviant side that loves to play.

Overall, IT IS A MUST TO ADD TO YOUR TBR IMMEDIATELY. You will fall in love with their story, characters, and it will have you gasping at a bomb of a secret that Sullivan has been hiding for years. Trust me when I say, this book is THE book to begin your 2026.

Four and a half stars!

Sullivan's story is here at last and I couldn't have picked a better person than Tate as his match. Sullivan is a single father and the head of his family business for the three years since his mother and brother died in a horrific explosion. He puts family first, then business, then himself, which makes him a ruthless, intimidating businessman. Tate is trying to make ends meet and working as a barista in the coffee shop next door to Sterling Diamond headquarters. When Sullivan is getting coffee because his assistant is on leave and has a childcare issue while Tate is going on her break, she is called upon to watch his adorable daughter, Molly. Thus begins the love story between Molly and Tate! Sullivan ends up hiring Tate to help with childcare and the scene is set for some forced proximity due to Molly. Sullivan and Tate are definitely grumpy/sunshine personified! There is so much emotion evoked in this story (I dare you not to tear up) and a lot of spice! I fell for both of the main characters very quickly and was rooting for them to figure out they were meant for each other. Just when I thought the story was setting up a certain plot twist, the author took me in a different direction, which was way better than what I had anticipated.

The Love Hater is book three in the interconnected Beaufort Billionaires series of standalones. Having read the other books, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more about the overarching mystery revealed in this story, but the preview of the final book of the series promises answers and I can't wait! I have my own theories about who will be featured and where the story will end up.

Elle is one of my favorite authors and for good reason. She writes stories with interesting plots, loveable characters, and page-turning conflict. I love the Beaufort family, and your heart breaks for all they've been through. This is a standalone but I highly recommend starting at the first book in this series! You'll get a little more back story on Sullivan.

Sullivan is the MMC and Tate is the FMC. Sullivan runs the family company, Beaufort Diamonds; he's extremely wealthy, has a lot of pressure and is also a single dad. Tate works at the coffee shop next door to Beaufort Diamonds, and lives with her father, who was fired illegally from his job. Tate is trying to help her father, while putting her dream career on hold.

A few things happen, which leads to Sullivan needing a part-time nanny for his little girl, and Tate is strong-armed into helping out. Sullivan is instantly attracted to Tate, where Tate is attracted but also a little more weary because of who Sullivan is and his family's wealth. You'll find yourself engrossed in this story as you get to know Tate, understand Sullivan's grumpy demeanor, and fall in love with Molly, Sullivan's daughter.

What I love about Elle's writing is that it's very intentional. The intimate scenes have a purpose and are not just plugged in as filler. Her endings show so much growth for the characters, you know there's a reason for what these characters are going through. Can't wait for the 4th book!

Also, I would love some images of all the diamond jewelry talked about in the book! It all sounds stunning and wayyyyy out of my price range :) but a girl can dream!

Book 3 of the Beaufort Series has not disappointed. This has got to be in up there in my favourite series. The Love Hater follows Sullivan and we learn much more into why he has been the way he has in the previous two books.

I would recommend that The Matchmaker is read first because there will be spoilers from that in this book. Sullivan is Sterlings son and book 2 is The Rule Breaker, following Sinclair’s story.

The book focuses on Sullivan who is a single billionaire dad to Mollie. It starts with ‘2 years earlier’ following the same way book 1 did but I really enjoyed this as you are seeing that opening scene from different perspectives.

The title sums up Sullivan brilliantly, he hates love! Along comes Tate and really tests him on this. Mollie is just adorable. There was a twist in the book which I wasn’t expecting and Elle always writes in a way that you feel you are actually there and I was invested in the story and have been with all of the series.

It was a brilliant read and I didn’t want it to end! I really thought this was the last book in the series but there will be a book 4 which will mark the end, not sure I am quite ready to say goodbye to the Beauforts 😢

If you like the MMC being a grumpy broody billionaire, single dad, who uses the “good girl” line then this is the book for you!

Well done Elle 👏🥰 if you haven’t read any of Elle’s books then do go and check them out, Elle is an auto-buy author for me and her books are just wonderful 🥰
