August 28, 2025I'm pretty sure this book was made with AI. There are too many repetitions, word by word and it just feels off to me. If it's AI I'm fucking pissed because this was so promising and so good and it was straight to my favourites books list. Guess it won't be happening.

350 pages of this book were pretty much carbon copies of each other. Zero plot.

I tried. . .
I'm going to be as objective as possible. So let me say this: good idea; poor execution.
This book was entirely too long simply because there were so many repeated phrases and situations. If I had played a drinking game for just one repeated phrase (let's go with "dual stimulation"), I would be six feet under at barely 50% through the book because my blood would be nothing but alcohol.
Some of the phrases or words:
-dual stimulation
-mine; ours
-perfect. . . Perfect for us
-beautiful
(Literally the extent of their vocabulary during spicy time like a bird taught only so many words)
Further in repetition, the spicy scenes. They were formulaic. We have 3 alphas, 1 omega, and endless positions and combinations available. However, we stick to 1,2,3 order. So after alpha #1 had his time, I knew without doubt #2 was next and then #3. Once that I remember #2 went first but #3 still followed.
The book would be at least 100 pages shorter without all of that.
Furthermore, almost 500 pages of the omega not knowing their names and using his made up nicknames: Mr. Ice(something or other- I stopped really reading them), Mr. Enigma, and Mr. Storm. After the first time of introducing them that way, I could've gone without the "Mr." Or maybe the alphas just tell the omega their names. It was frustrating to say the least.
I give two stars bc Ty (omega) had so many good one-liners and internal monologue. It was honestly the best part.
I strongly urge the author to find an editor willing to point these things out because this book would have been a favorite, instant-buy. However, I managed to finish it out of sheer will and definitely started skimming more-so than reading.
Now the question is: will I continue the series? The answer is possibly. Just to see if there were improvements. But also bc this one was like watching a B or C-list movie that you can't help but keep on the TV.

lackluster plot and over all boring read
… I was so excited to read this book, but I found myself skipping almost entire chapters, and skimming pages. There was nothing of value. This was strictly smut with a half hearted attempt at a deeper story. A deeper story that missed every single bit of closure one could hope for. Its ending was abrupt and just plain meh. With one reluctant omega from begging to end. This ISNT an HEA not even a semblance of an ever after. Extremely rushed in places an lackadaisical in others

Omg this story is extra streamy!!
So I loved the plot. I hope book two comes out shortly. I hate how it ended. But the action and snark was unbelievable. This author was so good describing scenes that everything came to life easily in my head. Ty is what a strong omega male looks like. I also fell in love with trinity. Though honestly am impatient on the next part.

Interesting Story
This was an interesting story with plenty of heat. By the time, it got to the better parts of the story, it was coming to the last pages of the book. I liked seeing Ty work to stay hidden and how the Trinity took care of him without his knowledge. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

pure filth I love it
This book was good heavy on the spice and I mean heavy, but I love every moment of it and I do like the premise of the book but if you just want a captive smutty omega a and mafia alpha read this is for you
