So Isabella was kinda not really thinking, she has to marry a stranger then gets stolen and has to marry someone else then another one waiting in the wings. I loved the lol with Leo and Roman. They never elaborate on who the mole was.
I just couldn’t get into it. Seemed to have potential starting out but it was all over the place. Vital info seemed to be missing and I just quit at chapter five and gave up.
Stolen by the Don is a standalone Bratva romance that starts with a dramatic twist—Roman Volkov crashes a wedding and kidnaps the bride, Isabella, as part of a plan for revenge. Isabella, the obedient daughter of a powerful man, had accepted a life she didn’t choose. But being taken by Roman forces her into a new reality where nothing is certain—except that feelings begin to develop between captor and captive. What begins as a dangerous game of power and control shifts into a story of unexpected connection, blurred loyalties, and life-changing consequences (including two pink lines and a surprise marriage). Their relationship evolves from enemies to something more, all under the pressure of close quarters and high stakes. The chemistry between Roman and Isabella is strong from the start, and their dynamic keeps the tension high throughout. Isabella’s gradual shift from passive to empowered makes her a compelling character. The plot is fast-paced and filled with just enough twists to keep the pages turning. Some developments—especially the emotional shift between the main characters—could use more depth or buildup. The story leans heavily into its tropes (forced marriage, age gap, enemies to lovers), which will work well for fans of the genre but might feel rushed in places. Laylah Snow’s writing is direct, dramatic, and focused on delivering high heat with emotional stakes. The style fits the genre perfectly, with strong pacing and vivid scenes, though more subtle character moments could have added balance. Stolen by the Don delivers exactly what it promises: a steamy, dramatic mafia romance with high tension and a satisfying HEA. While it doesn’t break new ground, it’s a solid, entertaining read for anyone who enjoys dark romance themes with just the right amount of heart. Perfect for readers who love forced proximity, revenge plots, and morally grey heroes who fall hard.
Okay, so Roman Volkov crashing a wedding and literally carrying the bride off? Yeah, that’s the kind of bold, heart-pounding move that had me hooked instantly. Laylah Snow’s Stolen by the Don is everything I didn’t know I needed—raw, steamy, and wrapped in that deliciously dark forced-marriage trope that hits all the right guilty pleasure buttons. From the moment Roman swoops in, you know this isn’t going to be a fairytale with flowers and soft kisses. No, Roman is a brutal kind of gorgeous—the kind of man who takes what he wants and doesn’t apologize for it. And let me tell you, watching him claim the heroine with those filthy, whispered promises? Holy hell, it sent chills down my spine and made my pulse spike like crazy. She’s trapped, sure—a captive in his world of power, danger, and control—but damn if the sparks flying between them aren’t electric enough to light up the darkest night. The tension? Off the charts. The chemistry? Explosive. And the whole age gap, bratva, forced marriage setup? Served me up some seriously delicious angst with a side of “I don’t care, I’m all in.” What I loved most was that this isn’t just about power play and possession (though there’s plenty of that). It’s about what happens when two stubborn, fiercely loyal people find an unexpected kind of love inside the cage. Roman’s no saint, but when he puts that ring on her finger and that baby in her belly? You just know they’re stuck in a heat-fueled, beautifully messy forever. No cheating, extra steam, and an HEA that felt earned and satisfying? Yes, please. This book is a full-throttle ride of passion, danger, and devotion that left me breathless and smiling like a total fangirl. If you’re craving a dark, sexy mafia romance with all the drama and none of the BS, Stolen by the Don is the wild, addictive escape you’ve been waiting for. Roman’s my new kind of trouble — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
When Roman interrupts Isabella's wedding to retrieve her father, Marco, for reneging on a blood oath, he decides to take Isabella instead as collateral until her cowardly father makes his presence known.
Isabella who is forced into an arranged marriage to Boris by her father now finds herself in an even worse predicament with Roman. She will be his wife instead and produce an heir, whether she likes it or not. That way Roman can guarantee that the Ricci bloodline ends. This will infuriate her father......Or will it?
Something that started as revenge for Roman soon became more than he thought. Isabella has gotten under his skin, she captivates him. She will go toe to toe with him, she'll not back down, that's until he gets near her and she can't help the shivers of desire that lick through her.
Will Roman find Marco to get his revenge or will Marco use his daughter to get control over Roman? Isabella is seen as a pawn to be used but what the men forget is Isabella is strong in her own right, if needs be, she can take care of herself!

so honestly this book is kind of boring and the FMC is bordering on TSTL. like her just automatically assuming that newspaper articles are 1,000% truthful. also she supposed to be basically groomed to take over her father's position in his Mafia group and she's just out there being dumb. even after her father doesn't show up for her wedding and tries to Marry her off to the bastard son of another guy. even the MMC brought up the fact that the FMC is being very naive and it definitely shows. I also don't love the choppiness of the scene breaks that they have. there's also some detailed information that just kind of gets skipped over like he just is going to leave her in the house and then all the sudden she finds a t-shirt of his and she's walking around the kitchen to get an apple but then there's a minute where his friend says he's going to leave and go to a bar because he doesn't want to deal with what's going on in the house because the FMC is in there and then all the sudden there's a scene later that feels like it jumps ahead but it actually doesn't as you read into the scene it's the same night I think and he's at the house talking to him in his studying.

Now they are together in close proximity and sparks are flying and feelings are slowly beginning to blossom between them. So I DNF'd at about 40 percent because the fmc was acting a bit like a toddler. I didn't get the whole back and forth between them that much it just seemed a bit redundant. I did like the plot but I think it needed something extra. I was confused if we were talking about the bratva or mafia since the fmc's father was "consigliere" to the mmc's father who is Russian so it didn't really make sense to me. And I'm not sure why the fmc is portrayed tough but is pretty fragile and gets hurt easily.
Roman stops the wedding ceremony to take Isabella in retaliation for a broken blood oath. Isabella is paying the price for her father killing Roman's father. Will the feisty Isabella escape or realize her father is using her and get along with Roman? This is an exciting easy to read age gap bratva romance.

Isabella is kidnapped by Roman on her wedding day to another man. Not only are they in close proximity and their connection instantaneous, but the circumstances of their interactions were hesitant. High stakes, changing loyalties, and a surprise revelation were well balanced into a beautifully written story that i really enjoyed.

Just seemed like a lot of other mafia books where the guy steals the girl from her wedding and makes her miserable. She fights back until they finally fall in love. Not much new here. I was kind of disappointed that it took the whole book before they knew and admitted that they loved each other. It was supposed to be a romance book but not a lot of romance here.

Roman and Isabella will have you staying up late finishing up on their story and it is a story you can't put down. I think I just found my new favorite book by Laylah that is until she has another new book out. :) So, get busy reading this mafia book because it is perfectly written and a page turning book.
Roman crashes Isabella's wedding to someone else and she is dragged from the church to pay her fathers debt. But things do not go quite as planned and after some drama and trouble get to the end and had me enjoying it all. These two interesting characters end up in a story that was so much fun to read.
It was an okay read. Good pacing. But the FL is utterly foolish it’s kinda frustrating. I understand she’s a mafia princess but she literally wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. She keeps on telling the ML “murderer” well in fact her father is one too. Like girl you live in the mafia word ofc that part isn’t news. Well I still finished the book.
I really enjoyed this book. Roman wants revenge for his father's death. Isabella is set to marry and is standing at the altar. Roman shows up and then her life is turned upside down.

Im not gonna lie, this took me a while to get into. It was so much back and forth and monologing it became a bit tiresome. BUT when it picked up, boy did it ever. Roman and Bella, the banter and growth of the characters was so good. Not super spicy but enough to keep me wanting more.
He meant to use her against her father. Her father killed his. Now, the killer will pay. He’ll use the killer’s daughter for retribution, get her pregnant to ruin her father’s bloodline. However, events don’t quite go as he planned.
The book really kept my attention and kept me wanting more and I would’ve gave it five stars except for the abrupt ending. It was they had to finish in a hurry. I felt like there should’ve been so much more.
I enjoyed the book more then I could imagine, the interaction between Roman and Bella was loving, mad, sad, unpredictable. But, Love can achieve anything in this world!
Love sneaks up on you when you least expect. So the Don learned a lesson he didn’t expect. Bella also learned she was worthy for someone instead of being a pawn to her father.
