A hidden past. A fractured present. A love powerful enough to cross time.
Book Four in the spellbinding Echoes of the Crescent City series.
New Orleans, 1897. Amelia LeBlanc never asked for magic; she inherited it. Born into a Voodoo bloodline bound by ancient rites and buried secrets, she was pulled into the past by the Loa and has spent the last four years surviving without modern comforts while mastering her growing power. But now, an occult society known as Les Ombres has a new Sabine Morel, a witch whose strength is rising fast, and whose methods are far more deadly.
As a magically enhanced Yellow Fever spreads across the Crescent City, fear and ritual tighten their grip on the elite. To protect the man she loves, her found family, and the future of New Orleans, Amelia must uncover the truth behind Sabine’s rise and a centuries-old battle for spiritual control.
But some legacies require more than belief. They demand sacrifice.
Perfect for fans of The Shadowy Horses, Outlander, and Salem’s Fall, In the Shadow of Sacrifice is a spellbinding fusion of historical time travel fiction, supernatural romance, and occult thriller suspense.
The battle for the Crescent City isn’t over, and this time, love may be the price of victory.
Continue Amelia’s journey in Book Four of the Echoes of the Crescent City series. Start reading now and discover what sacrifice truly means.

OMG! This book is intense, and won’t let you go. Julien and Amelia go through so much in the previous books. But it all comes together in this book!! New Orleans is in serious trouble and Sabine is giving it her all, or is it Sabine? Lots of questions and answers in here and you will be wanting to read and get those answers, instead of sleeping, working, doing life things. Absolutely enjoyed this series!! Didn’t see the ending being what it was. This series definitely needs readers that enjoy magic, Voodoo, history of New Orleans, etc. You won’t be disappointed.
