About the author

After escaping retail hell, I trained as a journalist and worked in newspapers and magazines before becoming a drone in the book publishing hive. I worked for Harlequin, The Canadian Book Information Centre, Lester & Orpen Dennys and Cannon Books in various capacities in editorial, publicity and sales. I learned a lot about what not to do. (All of the above companies are dead and gone except, of course, for Harlequin. I didn't kill them. It was suicide.)

I went over the wall again and worked a few miracles in the field of alternative medicine. Then "they sentenced me to 20 years of boredom, for trying to change the system from within." (Identify that quote and we are inextricably, irrevocably friends.)

I'm usually not an avid reader of stories that deal with vengeance, so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I started reading this book. However, I was immediately drawn into and hooked by VENGEANCE IS HERS.

The author did a wonderful job on it, creating a very compelling story centered around a very unique character, Molly Jergens. Without giving away too much here, I'll just say that Molly is a very complex character. Thankfully, unlike some other characters I've seen in similar types of stories, Molly is not at all one-dimensional. She's a very well-rounded character who always remains interesting to read about.

I attribute that to the talents of author Robert Chazz Chute. He created a very well-written and captivating story featuring excellent characters. I thoroughly enjoyed the book from start to finish.
