* This series is still like nothing I have read from MS Parker. With each new installment I’m drawn into the story. When this book ended I was not a happy person. I love the characters! They are all very fun and intriguing. I really like the connection between Cade and Aubree. It’s very steamy. I’m not liking Adelle much.
This story seems like it was well thought out to grab a reader and M.S Parker has done just that.

She wants that confidence in herself to be able to get what she wants. When Cade gives Bree a chance to learn from him, at first she refuses. When she realizes this chance is what she needs to improve upon herself she takes it, especially since Adelle is footing the bill. The only rule is no one falls in love. Can she follow that rule? or will her heart take over?
Loving Cade! I love getting the little pieces at the end from his POV! Can't wait to see where volume 3 goes!

This is the 2nd installment of the Casual Encounter story. This story was included as a bonus in my purchase of the Blindfold Series/story. So far I like it.
Sorry for the shoddy review but i havent gotten on good reads for a week and have plowed through several books since then. This was a good book. I liked it. Happy reading :)

This is the 2nd in book the series and should be read in order.
Betrayed by one of her closest friends, Bree Gamble has a lot to get over. The mystery man who she thought could be her white knight and help her move on turned out to be a paid escort. Surprising Bree, Cade shows up to her place and apologizes to her and tells her he was unaware that she didn’t know who he was. He decides that Bree could benefit from his knowledge and offers her a deal that might be more than she can handle. Can Bree let Cade teach her what she wants to know or will she end up losing herself and her heart to him?

The betrayal Bree feels toward Adelle is something she isn’t sure what to do with. After isolating herself, Bree has no choice but to go to work and face her other friend Mindy. The fact that Mindy was clueless as to what happen buys Bree some more time to ignore Adelle. Bree starts off being mature about what has happen not wanting to drag Mindy in but Adelle can’t handle Bree giving her the silent treatment and lets Mindy in on what happen. Mindy ends up in the middle which is unfair to her but she takes it well and tries her best to get both friends to see what the other isn’t seeing. Bree has a lot to deal with and being hurt by one of the few people she thought she could trust is hard to deal with. I like the fact that Mindy points out that yes Adelle came up with a bad idea and she was in the wrong but it was only done out of the goodness of her heart.
Bree comes off as weak at first but then she puts everything aside and goes for what she wants. Yeah, it’s not what most of us would do but when your friend is footing the bill and after what she had left out when setting up the date in the first place, why not take Cade up on his offer to help out.
This book like the first one is from Bree point of view for the most part, except for the last chapter that lets the reader know what Cade is thinking. I love how he is not ashamed his occupation. He feels no need to worry or care what people think of him and truly believes he is helping out the women his is with. The fact that he offered to help Bree out even though Adelle is paying for it shows he does care about the women but he is just closed off and doesn’t want to feel love. This has me wondering what his story is? Why is he so closed off to love and relationship? I’m hoping as the series goes on we get to see what makes Cade Shepard tick.
I have to say that is series is one of M. S. Parker most daring series to so far. Just when I think things are getting back on track she throws the readers another twist. I curtaining didn’t expect what Adelle had done and when Bree found out, I felt for her so much as it throw me for a loop too. I’m really looking forward to what’s in store for Cade, Bree and her friends. This is one series you’ll never forget!!!

There are writers who release their work volume by volume and M.S. Parker is of the few that do it very well, Casual Encounter being one of those works. Her gift isn't just within the crafting of the story itself but knowing exactly when to cut the scenes so the reader isn't left annoyed but rather, intrigued, at what will happen next.
Bree is a woman scorned, and hurt so badly she sees no hope for any love in her future. She'd been left at the altar at her long-planned wedding when the groom ran off with the wedding planner. Jilted and betrayed, she's sworn off anything to do with men, dating, and romance. Her two best friends don't see it that way and an attempt to get them to back off has her agreeing to a blind date that has disaster on the horizon. She is rescued by a virtual stranger, who turns out to be her next blind date!
Cade feels nothing for women except the good time he can give them. That good time comes at a price, though, one he charges a pretty penny for. Or a decadent dollar, since he's one of the top, highest paid escorts with benefits in the city. I came to actually like him - not pity, Cade is too strong for that - and rooted for him at the end when Bree had a choice of who she could end up with.
On the other hand, Bree was always strong, despite being so very sadly insecure and lacking in self worth. Cade proved to be more than good for her, showing her exactly how attractive she truly is, negating those little voices that whisper she's worthless and undesirable. She completely aced his challenges and fought back for her beliefs, no matter what the consequences would be.
This is a beautifully fast-paced book that keeps you constantly on the edge, even during the inevitable happy ending. You would never know how things would turn out exactly which is something I truly enjoy. Add the pain that Cade has gone through to the sexual tension and hinted suspense throughout Casual Encounter, and you've got a truly sexy, hot read courtesy of M.S. Parker.

Casual Encounter #1 by M. S. Parker ended on a massive Cliffhanger, I must say after reading most of the series that she has written to date she is the Queen of Cliffhangers! I have never known another author to be able to inspire such longing whilst at the same time allowing you to experience such emotions as frustration, elation, anger, happiness and even sadness all at the same moment in time! She is able to take the written word and allow you to easily use them to create a "movie" as such in your imagination so that you are able to "see" exactly what is going on as you read it. When M.S Parker wrote Casual Encounter, she created a brilliant storyline, something unique, a plotline that is just pure genius!
So now we come to Casual Encounter Vol. 2! Wow I must say she has carried on the storyline just perfectly and executed the expansion of the plot with pure ease and descriptive beauty! Each sexual scene is written in a way that you can almost "see" it in all of it's technicolored glory, making it a very hot and bothering read! - Cade is one hell of a sex God! Hot Hot Hot!!
Now that we have established that.......
Bree is still reeling from finding out Cade is infact a prostitute hired by her best friend to have sex with her when she thought that she was just set up on a blind date. The fact he happened to be her White Knight who helped her during a disastrous date, the man she has thought about day in and day out since just happened to be a coincidence? Bree believed it was fate when her "Blind Date" turned out to be none other than the man whose eyes had been haunting her. But it turned out fate had a horrible and cruel joke to play, he wasn't who she thought he was and boy was she mad when she found out!! Within this installment of Casual Encounter #2 by M.S Parker we find that Cade's offer to teach Bree to be an independant woman and a Sexual Goddess who knows what she wants and how to get it by teaching her the ropes all at Adelle's expense! But not everything goes to plan........
Can Cade and Bree manage to keep to the rules of their arrangement? Or does one of them begin to feel for the other potentially causing a problem between them? Breaking the rules Never Felt So Good..........

Most of the book is from Bree’s point of view but in the last chapter you get a peek inside Cade’s world. I love it. I want to know more! I think I would read a phone book if MS Parker wrote it. I’m truly addicted to her stories. If you haven’t read any, I highly recommend it! It has everything you could want: hot sex, dominating men, intrigue, and a splash of romance.

**Gifted a copy for an honest review**

So Book 2 of this series continues on from where the first ended,I must say that this series has so far been just the right length and ends at a point that leaves you wanting the next book but without leaving too much of a book hangover.
Aubree has taken up Cade's offer to teach her the art of seduction, although it goes against the grain of her upbringing she realises that if she want's to change her fate in the dating game she should say yes...
Cade is good at what he does, after all he is a top paid escort, and although Bree tries to keep it on a professional level deep down she knows she could easily get attached, but that's not the aim of the game so Bree is trying to keep it on a professional level.
As Cade begins Bree's Sensual Journey of discovery we learn a little more about his life, at first I thought he was quite arrogant but as this book continues Ms Parker reveals more about his hidden psyche and I began to want him to reveal himself to Bree more and more, they seem to fit together so perfectly when they are just being themselves.
As Bree begins to relax and stop worrying what other people will say and think she realises that her fears and insecurities she begins to blossom. I can relate to how easily peoples comments can make a person feel insecure and lacking confidence and it was great to watch her blossom as the story enfolds

This series is now complete and after 2 books I can say that if you like short erotic series books then this one is worth reading, Ms Parker creates relatable characters that you want to get to know within plots that keep you turning the page to find out what happens next.

So Book 2 of this series continues on from where the first ended,I must say that this series has so far been just the right length and ends at a point that leaves you wanting the next book but without leaving too much of a book hangover.
Aubree has taken up Cade's offer to teach her the art of seduction, although it goes against the grain of her upbringing she realises that if she want's to change her fate in the dating game she should say yes...
Cade is good at what he does, after all he is a top paid escort, and although Bree tries to keep it on a professional level deep down she knows she could easily get attached, but that's not the aim of the game so Bree is trying to keep it on a professional level.
As Cade begins Bree's Sensual Journey of discovery we learn a little more about his life, at first I thought he was quite arrogant but as this book continues Ms Parker reveals more about his hidden psyche and I began to want him to reveal himself to Bree more and more, they seem to fit together so perfectly when they are just being themselves.
As Bree begins to relax and stop worrying what other people will say and think she realises that her fears and insecurities she begins to blossom. I can relate to how easily peoples comments can make a person feel insecure and lacking confidence and it was great to watch her blossom as the story enfolds

She thought this man was someone who could help her move forward, but instead he was paid to go on a date with her. Cade then makes a call and he offers Bree a deal. He will help her be the confident women she wants to be. He only has one rule and that is if she starts to fall for him the deal is off just like any of his other clients. Will she be able to take Cade up on his offer? Will she be able to not fall for Cade?
I really like this series. I can see where Bree is mad at her friends. That don’t really care how she feels or what she says. They disregard her opinions on most things. Cade had no idea that she didn’t know what he was. He offers to help her the only way he knows how. However I don’t think he is fully prepared for the way this will affect him. With his other clients his is always in control. There aren’t any feelings or connections with them. With Bree he is teaching her. To do that there has to be some kind of connection even if it’s only friendship. I think Cade is going to be faced with feelings he isn’t prepared for. I look forward to reading the rest of this series.

Here we go !! BOMB number 1 has been dropped !! Who will drop the next one ?? I swear I knew from the start her friends were trouble !! Adele really went too far and now that the CADE is out of the bag what the heck will Bree do. Die of embarrassment or use it as a learning experience ??
A paid escort , how humiliating is it to know your friend thinks you are such a lost cause she wants to pay a guy to be with you....uggghhhhhh. Moving on we are now brought to the next exciting journey for Bree !! Cade may just show up with an apology and a deal !! Bree really does surprise me. I love seeing her grow more confident and embrace her sexuality. Regardless of her hang ups about herself and her lack of experience she is very open to all things and really does want to be an A+ student !! We already know of Bree's past and how unthrilling Ronald was and now we start to get bits and pieces of Cade's past and I am just loving the last chapter of each volume !! Such a great touch !! I love dual POV and I love MALE POV so much !! Don't get comfy because we end with yet again another BANG and I mean BANG !! How many hits can Bree take before she gives up ?? I have a feeling she is very much stronger than anyone thinks and may just get hers !! The connection between Cade and Bree is undeniable , even though they both want to fight it and call it something else. I love them together and boy it was hot in here when I was reading !! Casual Encounters Vol II picks up where Vol I left us.
Bree’s mystery man wasn’t the white knight she had first thought that he was. Mad at her best friend’s betrayal and embarrassed and frustrated with the whole situation Bree is not feeling good about what has happened. And in turn she is now feeling like maybe there is something wrong with her as well. But Cade, her mystery man shocks her by showing up and doing the unexpected - saying I’m sorry.
They reach an agreement where she will no longer be the teacher, but rather the pupil. Cade will teach her how to become irresistible to men. How to gain that confidence she is missing. The only rule: No falling in love. No emotions.
I am completely drawn into this book. I am enjoying the story, and come on it is HOT! I have a sneaking suspicion that Cade is going to need to be reminded of his rule just as much as Bree will be. The sneak peeks beneath the façade he puts up for the world to see are so alluring that I hope we get to see more in further installments. But OHHH! Bree’s friends do get under my skin! I want to just yell at them! She deserves better than you! And then maybe growl at them a bit. But the honesty of it I do appreciate, because in real life this happens. Friends don’t always stand next to each other and have each other’s backs. They sometimes do things saying they have their friend’s best interest at heart but they really don’t or are thinking more of what they want or would want – so in a way it was refreshing to see that honestly reflected. But GAHHHHH…On to the next Vol, because I can NOT just leave it at this!!!

I enjoyed this series. To me, it was very different than any of her other series. The storyline... the plot... everything was different. I have to admit that I absolutely loved this author and will one click her books without even really looking because I know she is that good and I know what to expect. And this book hit that mark.
This book was really good. It was sweet, sexy, naughty, suspenseful, and left me totally satisfied at the end (though each book does have a cliffhanger until the final volume). This book really did a good job showing the strength and perseverance a woman can have when life gives her a hand of sh!t. This book flowed well and had me turning the pages quickly wanting to get to the end.
This is Bree and Cade's story. In the second installment of this series, things come to a breaking point early for Cade and Bree. When Bree realized that Cade was paid for, she is heartbroken, upset, and totally disgusted. But when Cade comes back and makes a proposition... will she accept or run?
I liked Bree and Cade enough. I had a hard time connecting with both of them at times and that really was hard for me though I loved the storyline. Cade was an as$ at times and I wanted to smack Bree quite a bunch. But by the end, they had won me over. Her friends... questionable at best sometimes. So, Vol 1 left us with Bree completely and utterly upset after being blindsided about who Chad really was and how her best friend tricked her with the blind date she set up.
The man she deemed as her Knight and Shining Armor was an escort. To Bree, her thoughts of happily ever after with her Knight were utterly shattered causing more damage to her already fragile self-esteem. Her fiance left her for their wedding planner and the man she was envisioning a future with turns out to be someone her best friend PAID to go out with her. If I were Bree, I would be just as heartbroken and angry as she was.
Then, Chad, Mr. Escort himself, shows up at Bree's place with a full on apology about what happened and an offer to help her. She's a beautiful woman and he feels it's his duty to groom her to be ready for the dating world. He's offering to teach her not only to be a sexy and seductive woman but also test her limits in the bedroom to awaken the tigress he knows she is. It's a win/win, right?
After some deliberating, she decides to take him up on that offer and the fun begins.
Vol 2 was filled with much more emotion and heat with the progression of this series. The way this series is written, I find myself in Bree's shoes. I feel what she feels. I hurt when she hurts.
This series is definitely getting better as more of the story unfolds.

Part 2 of a 5 part series and every part is so good,
So if you have not read volume 1 go read it before reading this one or you will be lost. Bree is very upset to find out that her bestie has hired a paid escort to be her blind date and to take her to bed. She thought she had a real connection with Cade and to find out that is a short period of time she lost her fiance' to her wedding coordinator and then her best friend hired a male hooker to bed her has to be a slap in the face you know. Needless to say she is not speaking to Adelle and doesn't want to speak to Cade ever again.
Cade does come and to her apartment and let her know he had no idea that Adelle had not told her about the arrangement until after the fact when Adelle filled him in on it. He offered to teach Bree the act of seduction and as long as neither of them fell of the other they would be fine and Adelle would have to foot the bill.
Mindy on the other hand had no idea what was going on with Adelle and once Bree tells her what happened she feels like she is caught in the middle. How are they going to continue their Friday night dinners with all the tension?

After Bree learned that her blind date wasn't what it was made out to be she honestly thought that she could no longer trust her best friend Adelle. Even though in her heart she didn't exactly want to lose her friendship with her she decided that she needed to find someone on her own without her friends making the choices for her.
She only decides this after Cade her mysterious stranger/blind date turns up at her house explaining everything and also offering to teach her everything to get back into the dating game. After some serious thinking she agrees to his offer and somehow she ends up surprising him and herself.
After going out on their first date/lesson Bree is starting to become a little more confident with herself however when it comes to the second one there's a connection that they both seem to lose themselves in.
What will happen between the two of them, will it become too much for both of them. Also what will happen when Bree finds out that Cade is calling Adelle. Honestly the things that happen in this book I wasn't expecting, I was hooked and shocked from the beginning. OMG! Best frighten series by M.S. Parker so far and I have read every book by M.S. Parker. This is 10 plus friggen stars in my opinion. Friendships are being tested and lines are being crossed will lessons be learned? Just when Aubree starts to try to forgive her best friend Adelle she betrays her again. Can Aubree forgive her once again or will she finally get the courage to end there friendship. Will Aubree close herself off from everyone or will she put her new found courage to use. Will she be finished with Cade or is he falling for Aubree? Once again M.S. Parker has you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what is going to happen next. I always think after every series I Finish by M.S. Parker that she could not write a better series but she has blown me away on this series and it is my most favorite so far! I could not put this one down and finished it within a hour. You will not be disappointed by any of M.S. Parkers books but this by far is the very best!

This installment of the series takes place immediately after book one. As Bree stews about her friend's actions in hiring Cade to be with her, Cade makes her a proposition. He can teach her to be the assertive confident woman she should be, the only condition, she cannot fall in love with him. Is it in Bree's make up to follow that condition? What risk is it to her heart? Cade appears to be a much deeper person than he appears on the surface. Is there a man beneath the surface that she can fall in love with? Bree has trouble reconciling her feelings toward her friends and what she sees as a betrayal of her trust. This installment has a lot going on. The realization at the end of the book that her friend may still be seeing Cade professionally may change everything for Bree. As with the previous book, the writing is concise and the characters are developing before the reader's eyes. The next installment should prove to be interesting, I cannot wait.

I felt that this series is different than all the other series I have read from this author. The series has laughs, suspense, pain, betrayal, grief and heartbreak. Each story ends on a cliffhanger until the last installment. They also must be read in order.

Parker weaves a story of betrayal, hurt and inadequacies with a confident male at the center of it all! But what exactly is he at the center of? Will Bree be able to get over the betrayal of Adelle .. again or will she be done? Can Bree emotionally handle yet another of life's bumps in the road or will she close herself off and withdrawal again? Is she capable of having a casual encounter or will she become emotionally attached .. or has she already? What about rule number 1 with Cade? Can any of these relationships survive when the truth is never apparent? I CAN NOT WAIT for the next release of Casual Encounters by M.S. Parker!
