The Selfless, Shell-less Turtle
In the world of turtles in the forest, Herman was a little bit different from the other turtles.
Sometimes the other turtles would make fun of Herman or talk about him behind his back.
But Herman didn’t let that bother him too much.
He knew he had a different way of thinking and acting than the other turtles.
Sometimes it takes courage to be different, he thought to himself.
And when the day came where a courageous act was needed,
it was Herman who saved the turtles—and made a new best friend!
