I loved it! It was very short and sweet and kept my attention the entire time.

There was a line that really stood out to me:

"Whatever lines we drew before - professional, personal, safe - they blur completely in the darkness"

I could feel that viscerally.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the suspense and the steam written in this story was great. When I started reading it I couldn’t stop until I was finished . I thought it a great move when Nathan was in trouble in the board meeting and Charlotte stood up and announced that she and Nathan were engaged. Then when Charlotte moved into Nathan’s penthouse was so cute how she brought chaos and immediately started making changes and moving things around in his orderly life. Then when the trouble started within the board and the trouble just kept getting worse it was so good how Charlotte let Nathan know that he was not in this alone anymore that she wasn’t going anywhere. Then when Charlottes brother brought in the folder to Nathan with proof of what was going on and who was the enemy within the board was super. I liked how Nathan and Charlotte stood as one against the trouble and went on the offensive. I liked the happily ever after of this story. I would recommend this book to everyone. I received a free copy of this book but I am leaving this review of my own free will. Great story.

Partners Until the End -
Charlotte utterance during a board meeting was meant to help out her boss, but it rather led to Nathan’s structured personal and professional lives turning into chaos. The agreement was meant to be on a platonic basis, but what Nathan and Charlotte didn’t consider was their attraction for each other growing the more time they spent in close proximity.

Unfortunately, not everyone was happy with Nathan and Charlotte’s relationship, which led to the disruption of both their personal and professional lives. Luckily, Nathan and Charlotte received the help and support needed that turned the table on the perpetrators, once the problems were resolved, it gave them the opportunity to finally acknowledge their feelings for each other and get a chance at a happy future together.

This was an intersection and sensual romance story, with just the right amounts grumpy vibes, drama, and spiciness. I really enjoyed reading this book and didn’t take a break until I reached the end. You will definitely enjoy reading this book just as much as I did.

What a page turner!! It was such a fun, quick read and I loved the dynamics of Charlotte and Nathan throughout. They had such different personalities that worked really well together, and had me wanting more.

I love that this was not only a quick read but actually had some substance to it. Take a grumpy executive and put him with a quirky driven female and you get a perfect blend of romance!

Although a very quick paced storyline, the author made it flow pretty good. The spice level to this is three out of five, simply because it was quite rushed for the exception of one scene. Not to mention, there wasn’t much detail per scene. This was I believe the first time I read this author, and I would read another book by them in the future.

It’s a light read and goes by pretty quickly.

I didn’t really like it that much. The romance developed so suddenly that at one point I wondered when the attraction even started. A lie led to a wedding, but I didn’t buy into the chemistry or the relationship.

I enjoyed reading the book 'The Accidental Fiancée' by Jasmin Rivers. It was refreshing to read about a woman, who had long silently admired a man, knowingly put herself up to scrutiny and risk to defend him. Charlotte worked for her brother's best friend for a few years, but the family had known Nathan for much longer than that. She realizes that the members of a board meeting are subjecting him to a thinly veiled attack and to draw them away from the subject she interjects that she and Nathan were engaged to be married. It worked to disrupt the atmosphere and adjourn the meeting. No one was more surprised than Nathan, but he hid it well until they were privately inside an office before he asked her what made her say that. She calmly explained to him that those people had been out to get him, and no one was standing up in his defense, so she decided to. She said by giving that statement to the board, it gave Nathan more time to regroup and plan a counterattack to defend himself. Nathan realized that she was right, but he had to remind her that she put herself at risk too. She explained to him that she knew that, but he needed someone who would stand with him and work with him to defend himself and find out who was planting false information about his business practices. He was touched that she would put herself at risk for him and he agreed to go along with her plan but told they would have to make it believable. Thus, she moved into his penthouse the very next day and they agreed to play the part of an engaged couple. Charlotte had long had a crush on Nathan and hoped that he would open up and respond more to her while they were together. He finds in the coming days that Charlotte loyally works tirelessly to help clear him of any wrongdoing and he also starts to realize that he is attracted and fond of her. He has just always had to concentrate on not getting involved with anybody because he had been betrayed before, both in love and business. It is a good story.

This workplace book is about Nathan Black, the CEO of Black Enterprises and his PA, Charlotte King who also happens to be his oldest friend, Ethan's sister.
Nathan has issues within his company as there are certain board members who are trying to oust him and Charlotte makes an announcement during a terse board meeting, that she and Nathan are engaged. No one was more surprised than Nathan himself!
They embark on their fake engagement but there is chemistry and history between them as Nathan knows her family and the two protagonists connect well. However, there is even more internal issues and this time Charlotte is being targeted.
I battled a bit with this book and had to skim read it a second time to understand the storyline. I don't think the reasoning given by the author for the issues Nathan and Charlotte faced were really believable. However, it is a romance and the two main characters were likeable and very attracted to one another. There was some sexual scenes and a bit of swearing.
I rate this book 3.75* as I think the storyline had flaws.

The Accidental Fiancée is a wonderfully written novella that kept me completely invested from the very first page! Jasmin Rivers delivers a fantastic short romance that packs a punch.
​This story features a perfect grumpy/sunshine trope and balances it with a hint of suspense and just the right amount of spiciness. It was the perfect quick read—the kind of story that truly breathes to life even in a shorter format.
​If you are a fan of cute, engaging romance novellas with a bit of heat, this is a guaranteed win for your TBR!

This book had so much potential! The writing style is very good (I like well written books even in romance books) but what a let down!!! Please Jasmin, go and jump in the deep end! It felt like she had all her ideas lined up but she only alluded to them in passing: love story? didn't buy it. The boardroom issues, danger, mystery? still a mystery as something is threatening his position, a deal but what? still no clue. Like I said the premises were there but not taken advantage of! My advice: re-write it but make it a 30 chapters book ( note to others, 60 chapters are not cool), more depth to the story and characters and it will be a brilliant read!
