Hermione’s hand was poised above the door knob. She stood outside the small shop for several minutes before she even approached the wooden door. It was almost closing time. She watched him help a customer through the picture window for some time, hidden in the street’s dark shadows at the junction of Diagon and Knockturn Alleys. Her eyes took in the bold lettering of the store sign, The Poisoned Pen, Books and Potions, Est. 2008. She smiled at the name despite her nerves.
I want to start this review off same as I do always when reviewing Fan Fiction on Goodreads by saying that I understand the controversy around reviewing fanfic on good reads but it’s the only place I log my reading, so this is for personal looking back only.

I enjoyed this fic.
The ending was a bit blazé. I feel like it was a bit rushed and it could have been done better justice but I wasn’t completely unsatisfied with it.
Draco was on the softer side, and I enjoyed the flashbacks.
This was a nice fluffyish read in between all the heavier stuff I usually read
