Eli is a burnt-out rideshare driver, the kind of guy who drinks cold coffee, eats cold pizza, and avoids emotions like traffic jams. He doesn’t believe in ghosts, demons, or anything supernatural—until the night a mysterious passenger gets in his car… near a cemetery… and vanishes before reaching the destination. But that’s only the beginning. As more terrifying encounters plague his routes, Eli is forced to confront a horrifying truth buried in his past—a childhood accident, a mother who vanished without a trace, and a house that was never just a home.
What starts as an eerie glitch in his routine spirals into full-blown paranormal chaos. The rules of reality start to bend. The dead whisper through mirrors. And an ancient force known only as the Road Ghosts has decided Eli owes them something… Something he can’t run from anymore. Now, with his sanity unraveling and his estranged father hiding dark secrets of his own, Eli has one last ride to take—into the heart of something older than death, where not everyone comes back whole.

He writes for fans of ghost stories, urban legends, psychological dread, and anyone who’s ever glanced at their rearview mirror and seen something that shouldn’t be there.
This short horror story was totally unsettling and very creepy. There were a few places in the story that seemed to jump around a bit and were a little confusing but the grim atmosphere had me hooked. I wanted to just keep reading. I really enjoyed this. Easy read.
This book is not my usual read, it was a psychological thriller and horror meets the conjuring plus uber. It’s extremely creepy. I felt the writing was rushed and the ending was super rushed too. It felt like things just kept happening in rapid succession but then no explanation, this book to me was the definition of chaotic. I liked it but I wouldn’t read it again.
I did definitely enjoy this book, it definitely left me with spooky tingles and I had to look over my shoulder a couple times while reading this, but I do feel like a lot happened in these 85 pages that left me a little confused. Very well written though! Was a nice short read for me :)
Not gonna lie, I’m not even a big horror fan… but this book?? The idea behind it is so deep it genuinely messed with my head a bit. It’s not just scary it lingers. 10/10 unsettling in the best way.
