I enjoy this series, especially the early ones. This one, to me, lacked the connection to her family and co-workers. It was all about the main character. Just back from her honeymoon, she meets a nasty customer, nasty customer dies, Cupcake baker becomes Super Sleuth. Very formulaic and I was hoping for better. She runs around questioning people and they answer Why would anyone answer questions unless the police were asking them? When her tires are slashed, she accepts it, buys new ones, and carries on with her investigation. The Pink Cupcake is vandalized and she and her coworkers enter and look around, THEN call the police. The food truck park closes down when this happens-why? It is never explained. Naturally, she solves the mystery, her husband gets to be in on the arrest, and all is good. I missed the family life usually present in the books, and I feel that if if someone is going to continually get very involved in murders and mysteries, they should get a license to do so.

I have read all the books in this series and loved them. Harper Lin is one of my favorite authors. I’m so happy she is back with another Pink Cupcake Mystery.
Dan and Amelia are back from their honeymoon. I’m so happy they tied the knot! Getting back to work, a nasty, hateful woman makes untrue accusations that threatens The Pink Cupcake’s reputation. If that wasn’t bad enough, it gets worse. Amelia isn’t about to backdown or let it go. She winds up in the middle of something deadly.
The main characters are all appealing and seem like old friends after the number of books I have read. I enjoyed this story as I have all the others. I look forward to the next one.

Amelia returns home from her honeymoon and back to the Pink Cupcake and the usual flow of customers. Getting back into the swing of things happens quickly. Especially when Evelyn, the notorious difficult customer targets the Pink Cupcake. Claiming a cupcake has made her sick, then she turns up dead. And the finger is pointed at Amelia. So ii is time solve a mystery. The Pink Cupcake series is a must read. I received and advanced readers copy of this book

I am a big fan of Harper Lin's books, and I will always recommend them to you. This one takes place right after Amelia returns from her honeymoon. Almost instantly upon her return, she meets a customer that claims she was poisoned by a cupcake. As time progresses Amelia learns that this woman has made all kinds of businesses across town upset with her false accusations. No one is really surprised when she winds up dead, and Amelia gets on the case.

I don't think you have to read the first 10 in the series to catch up, but why wouldn't you? They are all so fun!!!

The food trucks are open for business. But one customer is cause for concern as she makes the rounds complaining. It only takes one, right? She is upset and vocal about a cupcake she bought from the Pink Cupcake. And then she drops dead. Yikes! Now Amelia is on the hunt to find out what happened, by whom, and why. Another good story from the food truck alley.

I received this from the author to read and review. This eBook is the first one I've never been able to guess who the bad guy was. Someone is trying to frame Amanda (the owner of the Pink Cupcake truck) for a murder. She has to start sleuthing right away to try to figure out who the murderer is. I loved this one, especially since I wasn't able to figure it out.

Bright, fun summer read!

Consistent characterization and a unique setting make this cozy mystery the perfect summer read. Although it is part of a series, it reads well as a stand-alone.
