Reading this in a world where Heated Rivalry (the book and show) still consumes way too much of my mind, I was screaming into my pillow at some of this. I want to write fanfiction set a few years into Tommy and Jason's relationship where Claire gets them to watch season 1 of Heated Rivalry and it's even hotter for them than the Harder Than Expected erotic film that started off their relationship. The author has to have read the book before they wrote this because Jason gives total Ilya in the penthouse vibes when he rolls the desk chair over to the bed to watch Tommy their first time. It's in no way a copy or ripoff of that scene, though, which I have seen alot of given the popularity of Rachel Reid's work. It's just a similar kind of hot and sexy and I loved it.
I loved all of this. Tommy's awakening at the movie and it inspiring him to reenact what Brian did only for Jason to come home early and catch him just like Mike had in the movie???? Contrived? Sure, but who tf cares! It's so good. Just like it would be delicious and delightful for them to watch the penthouse scene from the show and be reminded of their first time and go nuts when Ilya says, "Show off for me. I want to watch." I imagine Claire initially planning to watch the show with the guys, but things start heating up during the gym scene and once Ilya and Shane are in the shower, she's gotta go because Jason and Tommy definitely need to enjoy this kind of thing in private.
Seriously, I have fanfiction writing itself in my head for this erotic little quickie. It's maybe official that I just love Lucas Blaze's stories.
The Movie was "Harder Than Expected", But Reality was Worth the Experience
Four best friends regularly challenge each other to go to different types of movies without knowing ahead what it is about. Claire chooses this week, and Jason and the other boys go along with her.
The movie is more than a bit erotic and definitely gay in subject matter. As they watch, the boys have varying reactions to the scenes. After it is over, the discussion was a bit different than the normal conversation. Claire felt like the boys needed the exposure, especially Jason and his roommate who somehow were similar to the movie actors, but maybe needed their eyes and minds opened to what was around them every day.
Now every day brings thoughts of the movie experience into their daily lives as the whole life situation improves for both of them.
