One wrong email. One right temptation. And a workplace about to catch fire.
Dot Working for William Lewis, Wild Bronco’s best criminal defense attorney, is a daily exercise in patience. He’s brilliant, bossy, and insufferably arrogant. We bicker like it’s a game. I test him. He tests me right back. But beneath the sarcasm, there's a foundation of respect. Sometimes I think there's even something more. Not that I’d ever act on it. Until I accidentally email him a set of boudoir self-portraits instead of the legal brief he asked for. Now my boss has seen me in lace and leather…and he’s looking at me like he wants to rip it all off.
William Dot is the best assistant I’ve ever had—whip-smart, fearless, and maddeningly defiant. She drives me to the edge every day... and I’ve never once minded the view. For years, I’ve kept our relationship strictly professional. That ends the second I open that email. Now, every buttoned-up moment in the office feels like foreplay. Every glance is a promise. Every word is a dare. She’s the one woman I should never touch. I’ve defended criminals with fewer sins than the thoughts I’ve had about her. And I’m about to become the most guilty man in Wild Bronco.
I like straightforward cheesy titles! I like the idea of grumpy jerk boss who secretly loves his secretary and when she "accidentally" sends him nudes, his self restraint snaps!
But: here are my reasons on why this cute novella went downhill fast for me. First: I wanna know what the fuck is the brand of "curvy girl romance" is about? Is "curvy" means something different other than "Plus size" other than "Fat"? Because those words are used synonymously.
The author says it's a curvy girl romance, FMC says she's empowering "Plus size" girlies. And when she talks shit about herself she says I'm "fat". Newsflash to romance authors, when we read books we of course need some description of MCs but we don't give a damn if heroines are blonds, brunettes, thin as a spaghetti or fat as a dumpling. We don't want to waste time-especially as women- reading about how it's unfair that men discriminate against curvy/plus sized/ fat girl.
The truth is, real men in real world don't have a type that they stick to. Think of of the exes of any man you know, you'll find that he dated women with different hair colors, cuts, different heigh and weigh and clothes preferences. So don't sell me the political shit about men wanting only supermodels! That's anti-evolutionally and it's like saying women want only 6.+feet muscled rigged men. Double standards much!
The second bad thing is super related to the first. The FMC is super duper insecure. The novella was fine until they finally had sex and a meaningful conversation about their true feelings but FMC is suspicious and MMC launches this crusade saying "I'm gonna convince you that I'm won't get bored of you, that I like you the way you are".
No thank you! I don't want to read men proving "given" "basic" things. I don't want to read about a woman second-guessing herself. Those types of women end up alone, in real life, not because they are not physically attractive. It's because they are not attractive on the inside. Lack of trust/ nagging and whining are unattractive. External beauty fades whether you are Miss Universe or not, the important is that you always feel beautiful and worthy from inside.
William absolutely made this story for me. He was sweet and smexy rolled together. I loved that Dot sending him those photos made him “unhinged” and not able to control himself any longer.
A good read. I know it’s supposed to be short, I just wish it was a LITTLE longer to get a little of his longing into it.
Sending Nudes to My Boss Book 1 of Curvy Boss Babes of Wild Bronco by Jenna Cook
Dot works for William Lewis, the hottest—and most hardheaded—criminal defense attorney in Wild Bronco. Their professional relationship? A daily battle of wits and willpower. They clash constantly, but beneath all the sarcasm and snark lies mutual respect… and maybe some smoldering chemistry neither of them will admit.
That is, until Dot accidentally sends William an email attachment meant for her eyes only: a steamy set of boudoir photos.
Suddenly, their office tension turns incendiary. William, always controlled and strictly professional, can’t look at her the same—not when he’s seen her in nothing but silk and lace. And Dot? She’s not so sure she wants to keep resisting the intense, dominant man who’s clearly been holding back.
But crossing that line might burn more than just their inhibitions—it could set their careers and hearts on the line.
Sending Nudes to My Boss is a sexy, banter-filled workplace romance that blends laugh-out-loud moments, sizzling chemistry, and the slow-burn tension of two people who can’t stop pushing each other’s buttons—until someone finally snaps. Perfect for fans of curvy heroines, forbidden office romance, and irresistible alpha bosses with a dirty side.

She has always had a love-hate relationship with her boss. He is so good looking, but grumpy that she loves to hate him. She accidentally sends him her boudoir pictures, thinking she’s sending them to her best friend. He is confused, but thinks she is giving permission to act on the tension between them. This is actually the second story and this little series each story is a standalone and you do not have to have read the first one to read this one, but her brother and best friend story is the first one and they do pop up in this story, and they are both really short, so I recommend reading them in order for the best reading experience. There is definitely grumpy sunshine vibes here with some mutual pining that finally breaks loose in the most spectacular way. It is fun. It is flirty. It has all the steam attention and the curvy girl gets her man.

Sending Nudes to My Boss is Book 2 of the Curvy Boss Babes of Wild Bronco series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, opposites-attract, age-gap, curvy girl gets her boss office romance. William is a hunky criminal lawyer known to be a bit of a jerk. Dot is a sassy curvy, plus-size girl who is his assistant and also a boudoir photographer for curvy women. William has been in love with Dot for 2 years ever since the first day he hired her. Dot has had a crush on him too, but thinks he only dates thin blonds. When she gets arrested, she calls him to bail her out and defend her. One night in error, she sends him her personal boudoir photos, thinking they went to her BFF Katie. He thinks it was her finally making the first move and thanking him. She's mortified initially, but William plans to show her that he is all in. OMG, the chemistry between these two was pure fire and we got such a happy ending after a bit of angst. I can't wait for Sam's story next! I love this series!
The curvy ladies of Wild Bronco, Texas are each finding that special man that will live them for who they are. Now it's Dot's turn.
Dot is an assistant for defense attorney, William Lewis, by day and a boudoir photographer by night. Dot has empowered so many women to embrace their curves, and she decides to do her own shoot. Then she accidentally sends the file to her boss.
Hot, hot, hot! Excellent "waiting for you" short romance.

Dot works for William. He is a successful lawyer, serious and handsome. Dot has a secret crush on William, but doesn’t think she is his type. When she gets arrested she calls him for help. William has been in love with Dot since she started working for him. Dot is determined to thank William for his help getting her out of jail. She is a boudoir photographer and accidentally sends her pictures to him by mistake. William thinks the pictures is her payment to him, and what follows next is chaos. This was a fun short read. Very enjoyable. These two are made for each other.
Dot knows there is only one person to call when she is arrested, her boss William Lewis, criminal defense attorney. She has worked for him for a few years, they challenge each other. Little does she know that he has had the hots for her since she started working for him.
When he receives the boudoir photos of Dot, he believes they are both on the same page. Things get steamy when she comes into the office.

Sending Nudes to My Boss by Jenna Cook is the second book of the Curvy Boss Babes of Wild Bronco. I enjoyed reading Dot and William's story. Dot accidentally sends her boudoir photos to her boss and the two of them finally act out on their feelings for each other. This was a quick, fun read and one you won't want to miss.

You just smile as you're reading this book. The accidentally sending nude photos is my favorite part. It maybe the catalyst for all the confessing and finally acting upon their feelings, but the reaction when they're opened was great. Don't miss out on this one, its really adorable.
The book I’m reviewing today is titled, Sending Nudes to My Boss which is the second installment of The Curvy Boss Babes of Wild Bronco Book Series written by Jenna Cook. This was a great short story. The intense chemistry between Dot and William was perfect. I love easy escape reads.

Gotta love misunderstandings. Communication is the key. Sometimes you just have to go for it, speak your desires. This one does leave you with questions. Who is Sam really, and what's going on with their dad? Did their mom finally get enough? Can't wait for the next installation in the series.
A simple Thank you would have been great, but this easy mistake makes everything change for the better. Cute storyline with characters that have been hiding their secrets for too long. Liked how these characters finally own up to what’s really important and don’t hide from the uncomfortable truth about their pasts.

This was a good book, but I wish there was more to it. The ending was OK but honestly when she got the call, sorry spoiler. I just wish there was more to it instead of the next chapter was the ending and it actually skipped ahead so I just felt like something was missing but other than that this book was really good and it kept me interested
What a surprise they got! This story was much more fulfilled and definitely hotter. I love and dislike this author at the same time. The stories are fully developed for short books but the characters and stories are so good that I want more between the characters. I crave the wonderful banter smexual tension!

Dot and William boss assistant relationship she had trust issues as result of her father cheating on her mother and he thought it's unprofessional and inappropriate to fall in love with his assistant
Thoroughly enjoyable. Although was a bit disappointed with such a sudden end. I feel it was too rushed. Maybe there's more to come in the rest of the series and I'm doing the author a bit of a disservice. Time will tell!
This was a good short story. I really liked it. I thought it was funny when she sent the pictures and got them. I feel bad that she felt bad that she sent them. He really was in love with her.
Ya know, short stories so often miss the angst, the plot, or the sizzle. This one had all 3 and good editing! There were only a few minor errors but it didn’t pull me out of the story at all! Truly enjoyed reading!
