Rate this book
Disgraced ex-intelligence operative Tom Nowicki and his misfit crew aboard the temperamental courier Fantom scrape a living on the fringes of the Hyades Cluster – taking the dangerous jobs no one else dares.

Their latest "simple" salvage run for experimental tech uncovers a mysterious alien cylinder and a deadly conspiracy stretching across factions. Now hunted by a relentless stealth ship and a shadowy organization determined to bury the truth , Tom and his crew must navigate a treacherous web of espionage where trust is a forgotten luxury and allies are as dangerous as enemies.

Can these outcasts expose a conspiracy that could ignite the entire cluster before they're silenced forever? If you love the found family and high-stakes gambits of Firefly mixed with the cold war paranoia of a universe on the brink, you'll love Shadow Ghost Network.

Slow start, excellent read

I had trouble with this book at the beginning. I have read all of the Hades Cluster books. I think the difficulty was learning about new characters in a universe that was already familiar. Once all of that was established, the reading became very enjoyable. The characters were well drawn and much of the book revolves around the changing relationship among the crew. The tension and excitement of a good SiFi story was there also.

Enjoy!

Excellent +++

And not only do I enjoy a happy ending... But a book filled with action and not all blood and guts, death and destruction. Good intelligent conversations. As I said in the review of a previous book of his... If I was a politician (I'm not) I would want him on my team.🙂
