She looks at me, but she never really sees me. I know everything about her, but she knows nothing about me. She dominates my thoughts, but I know I’m just one of millions of people who adore her. I won’t lie, I’m obsessed. I won’t stop, can’t stop, until she’s mine.

5 Stars FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!! Her best work to date:)
The following is what I wrote to the author personally once I finished with her book: "OK, So I just finished. I seriously could NOT put this down. I mean, OMG, this story was utterly fantastic, I mean I am on a serious book high right now..... The writing, the storyline, it ALL flowed seamlessly, I was captivated from the very start and I was glued to my Kindle until the very end. Just FANTASTIC! I swear, this may be your best writing to date and please don't take offense because I do love your writing in general BUT this story was mind-blowing, riveting, highly emotional and holy hell super sexy, I mean all of the sex scenes had my girlie part tingling up a storm, lol!!!!!!! I was literally on the verge of tears reading about his back story, I mean literally I had a lump in my throat and tears coming down..... This story was so moving, so emotional and yet so damn sexy and cute and so full of deep love!!!!!!!
Oh gosh, I am rambling due to my book hangover...just know that I LOVED it and If I could give more than a 5 star rating, I WOULD in a heartbeat. Congrats and Best Wishes for a truly successful premier of this book!!!!!!!!!

Terry Towers continually surprises me. Who knew I would love a killer and want him to find his happily ever after but I did. Elijah kills for money but he only kills bad people – people that are doing harm to others or have already done harm. Still, not really a good guy since he is a killer. We then learn of his second passion, following the career and appearances for Sidney Lopez, an actress. Sidney is having a really bad day then follows it with some bad decisions but fortunately for her, Elijah just happens to notice her odd behavior and is there to be her hero. This starts a friendship between Elijah and Sidney but as the story builds we find out that their connection may be deeper than we initially thought. I loved the twists that Terry took in this story and how she revealed the depth to their connection. I also appreciate the dual points of view, we get to really understand Elijah's motivations along with Sidney's struggles. Of course, anytime you have a secret issues will follow. Will Sidney be able to cope with Elijah's career?? A really wonderful romance with a lot of depth and twists to keep you guessing until the end.

I loved Elijah, he has so many conflicting personality traits its like two people in one body. Elijah is a paid hitman that also does some killings to clean up the neighborhood....seriously! Elijah has been in love/lust with Sidney for years - he follows her from place to place when she is having her signings and he always takes a photo with her for his book - the only problem with that (other than being a bit creepy) is that she doesn't remember him. They have a past, and when we are told about it I couldn't help but cry Elijah had a hard childhood and that's putting it mildly.

I'm really riding the fence here
I like the story fine. However, I'm just not a fan of skipping through time months at a time. I always feel at a loss for the characters and their story. So much happens in the space of a month or two months or three months, and if details are left out a connection is lost. This is what happened for me. I do like the characters and the writing, but lost a little bit of engagement with the whole telling and not showing writing style.

3.5 Stars. This was my first time reading from this author and I have to say, I enjoyed it very much. Her writing style is easy which allows the story to flow smoothly. The characters are likable, the plot was interesting and the sex scenes were well written, very steamy. I saw this was labeled as A Dark Erotic Romance, but I have to say that besides touching on some some dark topics, it really wasn't.
All in all, this was enjoyable read. I will be reading more from this author.

5 stars. But it didn't start out that way.
I almost put it down after 2 chapters but soldiered on. Glad I did that!
Loved the story of Sid and Elijah. I like the writing style a lot, easy to read.

Loving the obsessive Elijah. This book covers the story of Elijah the hitman who has been obsessed with Sidney Lopez who is now an actor since childhood. His childhood was very troubled and Sidney had shown him compassion when no one else did. Elijah spends twelve years of obsessing over Sidney until something dark that happens to Sidney to force a direct meeting. This story is definitely worthy of five stars for all the intricate details that weave this truly emotional sexy read.

Wow GOOD book! Terry Towers has written a very good story about a hired killer reuniting with the woman that saved his life many years ago. As a bullied teen Elijah was trying to kill himself when Sidney a teenage classmate comes looking for him only to find him bleeding to death. After she saved his life he was put in foster care in a new state & they lost touch. She became a popular actress & he became a hired killer of bad guys. He's followed her career & has sort of been stalking her to comic con conventions but has never revealed his feelings for her or his identity. Following her the night she finds her boyfriend in a compromising position in their home he inadvertently saves her life from would be rapists. They strike up a friendship & love blossoms, only to be crushed when she accidentally finds out what he did for a living. What she doesn't expect is to miss him so much & for her new assistant(a survivor of the same rapists) to champion him so much. Can they find happiness with her knowing his past? Can he really be completely finished with his former life? Great story Terry, I wasn't too sure in the start if I'd like it because it was a little darker than usual for me but it was great. Definite recommend to read.

in this book we meet Elijah who is a hired killer who is also a stalker of an actress named Sydney. Elijah goes to all the Comic Cons in order to take a picture with Sydney and he keeps hoping that she will recognize him. When a wild turn of events leads him to saving Sydney's life the two immediately fall in love. we then learned Elijah's and Sydney's backstory which was quite touching. Sydney also realizes how far his stalking has gone but of course it doesn't phase her , she is too in love to find it creepy. I think the storyline was fantastic , we hear about actors and actresses but never really have a genuine love story based on them falling in love with the bodyguard. I do wish Sydney would have addressed the stalker issue just a little bit more and especially when she found out what his job was. There was barely a batting of the eye. I think I have batted my eyes to the storyline than the characters. the narrator did an amazing job pulling you into the story I find her playing Elijah quite entertaining. the narrator made this book more enjoyable to me, had I been reading it on my own I probably would not have finished.

I am a fan of Terry's writing and I received this ARC in exchange of my honest opinion.
I really like the way she writes and most of the books are great. I mean, they are not all perfect but let's be honest, it's very difficult to write all the time amazing books. The pressure is insane.
But this book is a very good one. I really loved the story and the characters. Reading the blurb I kind of expected something like a dark love story similar to Raw by Belle Aurora. They have these things in common: the stalker, watching from the shadows for the love of his life, the killer, the possessive attitude, always trying to keep her safe. But as you read, you start to see also the differences. This one is not as dark as Raw. This is more positive (in my opinion). And it has a big advantage: it's a stand alone book. No cliff hangers. No waiting for a sequel. You get your happy ending :)

This book read like a light romantic comedy but was anything but. It touches on bullying, addiction, suicide, prostitution, rape, kidnapping, cheating, Hollywood, and best of all, love.
Elijah has got to be sweetest, most considerate and caring killer-for-hire ever! As he states, he doesn't kill 'normal' people. He's a vigilante, eradicating the scum of the Earth for profit. A good guy. A hero even lol. Honestly, he made the book for me. I loved him!! When the book flashes back to show the connection between him and Sidney, my heart just about broke for him. What he went through no one should ever have to endure. Unfortunately that is the fate of many of our young children today. The author did a great job of writing about his journey in a truly sensitive way.
I would not mind reading more from this author if I could find characters with the same greatness of spirit that Elijah exhibited here.

Elijah has spent the past 12 years recreating himself, trying to forget everything from his past with one exception, Sidney, the girl who saved his life. He's stalked her for years, but she's yet to recognise him.
Sidney has been saved from a life threatening situation by Elijah, she remembers him briefly from their encounter at comic con, but there is something more to him she can't figure out, and more so there is one massive secret Elijah never wants her to discover.
Is Elijah a good guy or a bad guy? Well I can honestly say I'd want him on my side protecting me. I loved the reactions Sidney had as she discovered the truth about Elijah, they weren't small things, and Terry didn't wish wash over the situations, the responses were realistic, and a reason I love reading her books. If you have liked any of Terry's other books, you won't be disappointed with this story, it was beautifully written, and very heartfelt.

One word from her and he can't even think straight, let alone talk. One night, fate is smiling on him as he gets to rescue Sidney from a bad situation. From there, the relationship goes full speed.
From the beginning, I loved being inside Elijah's head. Hearing how he feels about everything, from his job to Sidney to everything he's been through makes me just want to hug him. While I didn't feel the same about Sidney's character, she was likeable and well written. Once I started reading it, I didn't stop until it was done.
The only questionable thing about this is whether or not Elijah keeps his job or finds something legal to do.

I have to say that I totally fell in love with this book! It just may be my favorite Terry Towers book to date, and that’s saying something! These characters she’s created... OMG... they just simply jump off the page at you. I absolutely adored Elijah! He’s so much more than just your stereotypical contract killer with a heart of gold. Sidney, despite the fact that she is a celebrity, is an extremely relatable character as well. I was absolutely completely invested in their story almost from word one. I was soooo rooting for them to get their happy ending. I will not spoil it for anyone. You’ll have to read the book to find out if they did. If you are looking for a read that is romantic, suspenseful, insightful, hot, sweet, heart-rending, funny, and sexy, this is the book for you.

Again another 'can't put it down' story from Terry. Although to be honest it didn't start that way, as it didn't instantly grab me. Keep with it, trust me. Terry weaves her magic and you are routing for both characters, Sid and Elijah. Elijah being a character who has issues comes to the rescue of Sidney, a successful actress. This isn't their first meeting. Unbeknown to Sid, Elijah has been keeping a close eye on Sidney for many years, following her career and taking every opportunity at publicity events to meet her. Their paths cross that fateful night when Elijah rescues Sid from a disturbing event which then leads onto an electric relationship which allows Elijah to confront his demons and forget the past which has been dark and dangerous. Fab read and can't wait to read more from this author.

Wow, I didn’t expect this! “Obsessed” is completely different from any story I have ever read. Don’t get me wrong, I really liked the story. It just took me a while to get it wrapped around my head. I like suspense and danger in my romance books. I just wasn’t expecting a story like this. This story is unique, with a character being stalker like and a killer. Elijah proves he would go to any length to protect the person he has loved for years. From my point of view, the only thing I didn’t care for is how this story could end if there is murder hanging over their heads. I like HEA stories and that is addressed but, with a twist that keeps you thinking. And I have to say, it felt good to read something completely new and stretch my reading horizon. Great job, Terry!

Obsessed had me riding a roller coaster of emotions with Elijah and Sidney...I went from anger to hysterical laughter, moments of "aawww" to tingly from smokin hot sex scenes...this book had it all...appreciated the dual POV...strong character development...Elijah was a wounded child who became a determined adult, in love with a woman who was unaware of his lifelong affection...Sidney was beautiful both inside and out...she saved a teenager's life, unaware of the impact she made...we get to see what happens when the two come together again...loved the twists and turns that transpired...adored the characters of Chris and Josie...they added a deeper dimension to the story...so worth the read!!!

I really liked this story. Elijah is a rich alpha male hit-man with a secret past. He's a good hit-man, if there is such a thing, he only kills bad people that he's hired to take out. Sydney Lopez is a famous actress who shares Elijah's past but she doesn't know that, especially since she once knew him by a different name. Sydney is the love of Elijah's life and his dark obsession despite the fact she barely knows he exists. When Sydney's life is threatened Elijah steps into save her, she mistakes him for private security and hires him on the spot. Will Sydney remember their past? Will she find out about Elijah's present? Will there be a happy ending? If you want to know you have to read the book, which I fully recommend.

Elijah is a secret hitman, killing bad people only...kinda a Dexter, but cleaner..lol He has been in love with Sidney since his teens...Having had a rough childhood, we learn why he is obsessed with Sidney, she saved him in there teens, and showed him great tenderness..she is a really nice person...plus she is beautiful and full of life and love...he follows her career and goes to all the conventions she is at... While semi stalking her he finds her in a bad situation and rescues her...she is very grateful and a romance blooms...but will Elijah's secrets ruin it all?

Sydney is a famous actress and Elijah has been stalking her for a long time. He is actually a paid killer but he only kills really bad people. A long time ago Sydney helped him out of a bad situation and he has gotten his life on track. You can't help but love them. Sydney catches her boyfriend screwing his co-star in her hot tub. She ends up going to a hotel and nearly gets raped but Elijah is watching out for her and saves her. When she discovers his secret past she can't help but fall in love with him. He really is her knight in shining armor. Once again this is a book I couldn't put down.

Well written with an interesting story and great characters you won't be able to put it down! Despite the subject being a little dark, Obsessed is funny, sweet, romantic, full of action, hot and sweaty.... I loved it!!!! I really wished it was longer, i wanted a more elaborated ending with a baby or two, but i am still extremely happy with this hot little number!!!You won't be able to resist Elijah and you will enjoy it thoroughly!!!! Another success for Terry Towers that keeps on amazing me!!! Can't wait to read more! Two thumbs up!!!

I really enjoyed reading this book. I had expected it to be darker than what it was. I immediately liked Elijah; there was just something about him. Both Sidney and Elijah were very likeable characters. They had great chemistry and I loved their bantering. Throughout the book I had wondered how Sidney would react if and when Elijah’s secrets came out. I felt that the author did a great job with the writing and dialogue. I look forward to reading more from her.

Elijah is a hot sexy killer for hire. He is totally head over heels in love with Sidney, but she has no idea. Actually, she doesn't even know him. But when he basically saves her life, the two end up spending a bunch of time together, as she hires him to be her body guard. Will the two be able to give each other the time to get to know one another? Or will his secrets be to much for her to handle. Is being in the public eye as her boyfriend to much for this 'in the shadows' kind of guy?

I loved Elijah. He was funny, sweet, and caring. The story of his childhood was sad. I loved how the story came together. This isn't a twisted dark romance. I get why it is labeled a dark romance, but it's not your typical dark romance. Yeah he is a paid hit man. More like a former hit man. Still, it was a really good book. So keep that in mind when choosing this book and you won't be disappointed!
