The Damroo Man and the Monkey Gang is yet another wonderful kids' illustration. It revolves around the city of Varanasi, and there is a whole troop of monkeys - the monkey gang. Having said that, who is this dumroo man? You'll have to read the book to find out.
The streets of Varanasi city are described very beautifully. I loved the story and was amazed to read about the famous thandai drink.
The illustrations are beautiful and make the story extremely engaging and likable for the kids. I loved reading both books by Ishan Trivedi.

This is the story of how thandai became famous drink in the streets of Varanasi with the notorious monkey gang being the reason of how it came to limelight.
Kids will enjoy reading this book and giggle as they will know about the monkeys running through streets

The Dumroo Man and the Monkey Gang is one of the best children's books.
The story revolves around the city of Varanasi, where the whole gang of monkeys troubles the people. They create a lot of mischief. And who is the Dumroo Man? You have to read the book to find out!
You'll also discover how thandai became famous on the streets of Varanasi. I love the descriptions of Varanasi’s narrow lanes, mithai shops, and temples.
It is beautifully illustrated, which makes the story even more interesting for kids. I love reading both the books by Ishan Trivedi.
