George Ames Plimpton was an American journalist, writer, editor, actor, and gamesman. He is widely known for his sports writing and for helping to found The Paris Review.

He was the grandson of George A. Plimpton.

A brilliant anthology of long-form interviews (bar John Barth’s pithy replies). Fascinating insights into the idiosyncrasies of the writing process, and broader discussions too. Looking forward to finding more of the series to read!
