Europe. He was previously Head of Research for ETC
Group, creator of Europe’s largest physical Bitcoin
ETP, prior to its acquisition by Bitwise in 2024. Prior
to focusing full-time on institutional crypto asset
management, André spent more than a decade focused
on portfolio management and investment research in
the traditional German financial industry and has been
gaining institutional crypto asset experience since 2018.
He holds a PhD in financial history from the University of
Southampton, UK.
