A possessiveness born from a love so deep that one brother became blind to his own self to preserve the other.
In the ashes of Ancharin, River fights for his freedom amidst the invasion of druids determined to carve out the heart of Berinia and take it for their own.
Old truths come to light, bringing new clarity to Marina, Haven, and Ryker of how their fates were manipulated, trapping them all in a future that serves the needs of one who is determined to regain a power she feels was stolen centuries ago.
Deep wounds and scars from the past must be confronted and mended, because only together can the seraphim and Drankoni set right the wrongs they’ve all suffered and overcome the forces determined to destroy their worlds.
Haven, River, and Ryker join forces with the Drankoni to fight back with the one thing fate could never understand: the sacrifices a person would make for love.
Georgia spends most of her time lost in fantastical worlds, thinking up wild ways to entertain readers who love romantic fantasy.
The Shadows and Light series are Georgia's first published novels, a planned six book series of love, political intrigue, intricate worldbuilding, magic and mystical creatures, and legends and lore. The story is an epic fantasy, heavily focused on character-driven storylines, both heroes, the morally gray, and the despicable. Books 1-5 are now available on Kindle Unlimited, Amazon and Audible.
Disenchanted Tales is a dark(ish) and steamy series of novels inspired by fairy tales, myths and fables. Book 1 -3 are now available on Kindle Unlimited and Amazon.
Georgia lives in California and when not spending time with her family, working and writing, she is an avid competitive equestrian.
4.25 for me So, this would have been a 4.5 for me if I had a better memory. I did struggle at the start of the book trying to remember all the plots, schemes and connections from previous books that were all now finally coming together for the final book in this series. I had remembered a lot of the biggest plot points but some of the smaller details were harder for me to remember. So, if you have the memory of a goldfish you might want to read the books closer together. This book had everything, mystery, suspense, heartbreak where I teared up, bittersweet moments and vindication that some of the truly awful people in this series got getting what they deserve. There is a HAE, but it is a hard-won HAE that comes with blood, sweat and tears. Not just for Haven and Ryker who thank god, finally get a break from fate and other people stopped fucking with them but others as well who truly deserved their happiness. (trying not to give anything away).
Overall, if you're looking for an epic, slow burn fantasy series with really in-depth plots/schemes that will take books to resolve and because of that you will become really invested in these characters and their journeys than look no further than this series by Georgia C Leigh bc she is truly a master of the epic fantasy in my opinion. It's a bittersweet ending for me this series coming to an end b/c of all the highs and lows it took me on, but I am excited to see what Georgia comes up with next.

So, this book is the conclusion to the shadow and light series where everything is coming to ahead. The druids are rising from the ashes of their world as they try to seize Berinia all while River fights for his freedom to reclaim some piece of himself while revealing the truths of the past long though buried. It is these truths that shaped not just River and the choices he made but also Marina, Haven, and Ryker all because the manipulations of someone from the shadows trying to grab at power. Now to survive this invasion and save their worlds the seraphim and Drankoni must work together because it is only if they are united can they can they hope stand against the darkness with their greatest weapon being sacrifices born of love.
I received an ARC Copy in exchange for an honest review.
Book 6 in the Shadows and Light series is perhaps unsurprisingly another emotional rollercoaster.
As the threads of Marina's oracle begin to knit together towards a conclusion, fate hangs in the balance for all our heroes and no one is safe 😭
This book had me squealing in delight, kicking my feet as some characters got their comeuppance (IYKYK), sobbing at emotional reunions, sacrifices and with extremely hard fought happy endings.
In a series packed with mystery, suspense, action, twists, turns, secrets, hesrtbreak, healing and destiny, the overarching theme is that love is the key. Brotherly love, bonded love and the overwelming love of a mother long since lost and a father who sacrifices everything 🥰
Having been on this journey since finding this series in December 2023, Georgia did not disappoint at any stage. The character and world building has been outstanding throughout.
Don't despair because it's over, smile because it happened.

Wow! This series! What a roller coaster this book was!! I absolutely love River, Ryker and Haven! Their whole team/friends/family! I still despise Lilith in this book, even more than before!! Rivers story was such a roller coaster! The ending was absolutely perfect for this series! I couldn’t imagine a better ending for this story! I’m just sad it’s over! I loved it so much!!
To say this book, gives you the whole experience and then some. How she masterfully crafted this world with all the points of view and still surprises you with twists redemptions, villains, action, and the way this book wrapped up I wasn’t disappointed.
