This was a really sweet and emotional story. Jackson’s journey as a widower and single dad felt honest and touching, and Paige was a wonderful match for him. Their romance is a true slow burn, built through small moments, shared responsibilities, and genuine care. I especially loved the school setting and the Christmas event, which brought them together in a natural way. The story is tender, hopeful, and full of heart. A lovely first book in the Striking Steele Saga.
