What a vivid world we find ourselves in as we read A Circle Outside.
It reminded me of the New Age phase I went through in my youth; tie-dye, patchouli, runes, celestial influences. I had that teased out of me as I aged, but despite the obvious impediment of me being straight (they don’t allow men on their land, but what about straight women?) the coven’s spiritual lifestyle appeals to me, and despite all the drama, I long to spend time amongst them.

I recommend A Circle Outside as immensely readable with realistic natural dialogue, an entertaining story, interesting situation & relatable characters.
