With thanks to the author, publishers Collins Reference, and NetGalley, for providing me with a DRC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This book is a veritable treasure trove for Formula 1 enthusiasts and petrol heads in general everywhere!
It is probably not a book that someone will sit down and read from cover to cover, instead the shorter chapters make it an ideal reference or coffee table type of book that someone could pick up and dip into as time allows.
It covers a range of cars, each legendary in its own right in the history of Formula 1, from as far back as the 1950s right up to the present day, and describes famous drives in these cars by some of the legends of the sport, men from those early days like Fangio, Moss, Ascari, Stewart, and others from more recent times such as Schumacher, Vettel, Hamilton, and Verstappen.
The detail it goes into for each car is very impressive, and in each case it is supplemented by a fantastic photo of the car in action.
Including a foreword from another legend of the sport Martin Brundle, all in all this is an incredible read!
