Have you ever seen a tiny flickering light in the darkness and wondered what it could be?
Kay Mackenzie has. When Kay sees a glowing light dancing in her garden one night, she and her brother, Rob, decide to catch it. Thus begins their adventure into Nymphas' World, a secret place full of wonder and enchantment. Kay and Rob experience the delights of Edenland, home of the ever Nymphas, guided by their newfound Nympha friend, Alva.
When Rob is captured by the wicked Onyx Nymphas, Kay and Alva must go on a dangerous journey to rescue him from a terrible fate. On the way, Kay learns about magic and friendship and discovers a special gift of her own. Kay and Alva do battle with the Onyx, but the odds are stacked against them. Will they defeat the Onyx? Will Kay and Rob ever be able to return home? Step into the magic and find out!

Nymphas' World: Beyond the Onyx Mountains is a stunning blend of adventure, heart, and imagination. From the very first page, I was pulled into a rich and magical universe where danger, friendship, and self-discovery walk hand in hand.

The author’s world-building is incredible detailed, vivid, and immersive. Every scene feels alive, and the mysterious Onyx Mountains add a perfect sense of suspense and wonder. Nymphas is a truly memorable character—brave, curious, and full of heart. You can’t help but root for them every step of the way.

What I loved most is how the story weaves fantasy with deep emotional themes: courage in the face of fear, the power of unity, and believing in oneself. It's the kind of book that reminds you why you fell in love with reading.

I highly recommend this book to fantasy lovers of all ages. I’m already looking forward to Book 2!

What a lovely, wistful adventure! Kay and Rob feel like real kids curious, brave, and stubborn in just the right way and Alva is the kind of magical friend you want to keep visiting. Edenland is described with such bright, whimsical detail that I found myself picturing the gardens and tiny lights long after I finished. The stakes get surprisingly poignant when Rob is captured; the rescue mission had me turning pages and rooting for Kay the whole time. This is a warm, well-paced middle-grade fantasy about friendship, courage, and discovering the little magic that can change your life. Highly recommend for readers who love light, enchanting tales with heart.

Absolutely enchanting! From the very first page, Nymphas’ World pulled me into a magical place I didn’t want to leave. This story completely captured me! From the moment Kay spotted that flickering light, I knew I was in for something magical. I really enjoyed this story, it’s imaginative, full of wonder, and has a classic fantasy feel that reminded me of the books I loved growing up. Kay’s courage and her bond with Rob were touching, and the world of the Nymphas was described beautifully. The pacing slowed a little in places, but overall it was a magical adventure that left me glad I picked it up.

There’s something very nostalgic about this book. It has that “storybook wonder” but also a modern sense of pacing. I especially loved the description of the glowing light in the garden: the moment I read it, I wanted to know more. The rescue mission was my favorite part. Kids would absolutely adore this.
