The man he once loved is the reason he went to prison for three long years. He thought he could trust him, could tell him anything. But when Jasper found out he was a killer? Everything changed.
Now Ezra's back and he's ready for revenge. He could just go after his ex but no, he wants him to suffer.
What better way to do that than to kidnap Jasper's son? Felix is a golden boy, smart, succeeding. And Ezra is going to destroy him just to watch Jasper burn.
But what should have been simple soon gets complicated. Felix is more of a disaster than anything else. Helpless, struggling Ezra can't help but to make Felix his, permanently and to be the daddy he so desperately needs.
Beg for Death is part of a serial killer daddies multi-author series called Bloody Desires and ends with an HEA.
Because every good boy needs a serial killer Daddy.

My fave duo has done it again I was licking my feet the whole time Ezra never stood a chance of not falling for felix, he want from caption daddy loved it quick spicy read , and they match each others crazy
This book had a really good story, but there more editing issues than I’m used to from these authors. I’ve read all of their previous books, and have never noticed so many errors. From another author, I wouldn’t have really minded so much, but it was surprising from these two. Things I noticed: -The name Cameron was misspelled seven times -The addition of english translations after spoken spanish was inconsistent and took me out of the story. It was usually bolded and in italics, but sometimes it was missing the translation, and sometimes it wasn’t designated but still written in the middle of the sentence. I honestly think the translations were unnecessary, specifically in chapters from the POV of a character who doesn’t speak spanish, since he wouldn’t know what they meant and it wasn’t clarified that he didn’t speak it until halfway through. - In one instance, the chapter started the first two sentences in third person POV before going to the first person, it was a bit confusing - The epilogue was labeled as Felix’s POV but was actually Ezra’s
Overall, I really enjoyed the story, the writing style, and the quality of the writing itself. I feel like it just needed another round of editing to keep with the quality of the authors’ previous books.
One of the best dark romance books I've read this year. I loved Felix and his Daddy, their dynamic, the plot, the obsession, the kidnapping, and the darkness that followed. There was a perfect amount of sweetness for a dark romance. The ending made me swoon and wish there was more. It was all amazing! Make sure to check the triggers before reading.
If you're a fan of dark romance, bloody situations, "you're mine" moments, and more, I highly recommend this book.
It was on and off for me. There were parts I really enjoyed that gave me that Skyler Snow X Brea Alepou magic and there were other parts that felt off and didn’t make much sense to me and sorta felt detached from the general story.
I don’t even know how to rate this book. The story was great and well written but what the fuck happened with the edit? I’m sure there’s a lot of readers wanting to help out, just give them an ARC and a email to report mistakes. Honestly, it was so bad that I thought about DNF’ing. But I really loved the characters and I soldiered on 👍👍
This would’ve been a 4 star read but the google translate Spanish kept taking me out. Using the feminine version of phrases/ terms of endearment when referring to a male character and the odd sentence structure of the Spanish phrases leads me to believe they were just googled and used in the book instead of maybe consulting an actual Spanish speaker. Idk 💀
Definitely more smut plot heavy vs revenge plot heavy but it’s a novella.. to be expected.
It’s definitely dark too so check the warnings before starting
I gotta give it to the authors as they always write such amazing stories. They didn’t disappoint with this one. I really enjoyed it and didn’t want it to end.
Ez & Felix story is dark and hot. Their story is not like any other and once you start, you’ll have to keep reading. Ez is out for revenge against Felix’s father and Felix has no clue about anything. The more time Felix spends with Ez, the harder it is to use him in his plan.
Both MC’s support each other and the way they are. You have a protector and killer with a sweet innocent boy. These two are made for each other.
Beg for death is part of the Bloody desires series. if you're looking for a heartwarming tale of love and redemption you've come to the wrong place but if you want a morally unhinged ex-con out for revenge and a young man with some serious baggage then you're in luck because these two just make it work.
The story in itself was good enough, on the shorter side and not very plot-heavy, it was pretty simple. But there were a lot of editing errors that pulled me out of the story and made me pause.
I adored sweet sweet Felix! And Ezra was the perfect crazy to match him. Just what they needed of each other. Wasn’t sure going into this book what to expect but the rest of the series had held my interest mostly so I gave it a shot and I’m really glad i did, I ate it up in one evening. A fast paced quick read I deeply enjoyed. I’m so glad it had a perfect for them happy ending!
God I gobbled this up! Loved it. I don’t even like grumpy/mean MCs lmao, but Felix definitely brought out the best in him. Felix is the reason for the five stars lol, 1000%. Great story and writing and smut but something about Felix just made everything even more enjoyable. I loved loved loved the way his body was described too! Need more chubby boys
I freaking adore Felix! is this man suffering from Stockholm syndrome and is really just wanting someone to see and love him for the first time in his life? Absolutely!
Is this a healthy choice/ relationship? Absolutely not!
Do I still find it kinda sweet that Daddy Unaliver gets all grumpily sweet anytime Felix asks him to do something? Yes, Yes I do!
This was just fun like this was a pallet cleanser for me in between a series and it was just what I needed it was fun spicy easy to read and mm like I live, ezra and Felix were honestly so fucking cute sue me yeah I just had a really fun time the vibes were vibing
This seems rushed and there were some editing issues that took me out of the story. For example, in an initial scene he says he goes to the dorm room to grab clothes and a teddy bear. Later he goes to the dorm room for something else and it’s his first time there, bear is on the bed.
Otherwise the story was good and I finished it, but not my favorite from these authors
Another one forgotten to review lost under the ones I had to. This one doesn't ring any bells. Just re-read the blurb. Ah. Yeah, this one wasn't for me. Kidnapping, probable stockholm syndrome and shitty parents.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Here's Brea Alepou and Skyler Snow's "Beg For Death." It's a novel in the multi-author series, Bloody Desires.

This one was a more on the darker side of the dark romance. Ezra was soft, but in his own, harsh ways. Though Felix didn't exactly want him soft, he wanted him dark and harsh and mean; he wanted Ezra to be himself. Ezra helped Felix, but I think Felix helped Ezra more. Ezra was able to heal from his past betrayals and find himself again, all the while finding a new lease on life and being happy, in his own grouchy way.
Felix was not how I expected. His bratty side really complimented Ezra though, and Ezra was obsessed with his little troublemaker.
Trigger Warnings: gore, blood, death, mental health, suicidal ideation, torutre, anxiety disorder, depression, violence, past parental neglect, kidnapping, Stockholm syndrome, fat phobia (side character), manipulation, and more.
🚩🚩 Dark DARK Romance here I'm even gonna call this one a Pitch Black so check those TWs before heading in! This is also part of The Bloody Desires Series so if you read a few of those you should be slightly prepared for this one....slightly...
🌶🌶🌶.5
Just going to coin this right now! Felix is the most adorable M¤rd€r Cheerleader to ever cheer for their M¤rd€r Daddy 😂
"Watching him kill was like all those kids I grew up with, envious of who got to cheer their boyfriends on during homecoming or some sporting event.."
"I don't have the same interest, but I know how to cheer or I guess show support." --------- Ok now that's out of the way.. Ezra's ex Jasper sent him to jail after basically snitching on him. After Ezra did his time and was released he started his revenge plan. He was going to *People Steal* Jasper's son Felix and unalive him to torture Jasper and then eventually unalive Jasper. So part one went off with out a hitch *People Stealing* Felix was easier then Ezra thought but as time went on Ezra found out the relationship between Jasper and Felix isn't what it looks like and well Felix is definitely not the person he thought he was. Felix has been abandoned and well verbally/physically abused through pretty much every relationship he has ever had so when his supposed Captor is the only one showing any type of care or concern over him Felix sorta latches on. Now please don't get this twisted Ezra is not a nice man....yes he shows he cares but in a very *Ezra* way...I know I said it but please please check those TWs! I am so HERE for this pitch Black vibe from Brea and Skyler! This is exactly what I was looking for from this series!
This book was an odd experience. The story itself is good. I loved Ezra and Felix. Are they realistic? Absolutely not, but I'm not here for realism. The actual content is five stars for me. But it seems like the draft that'd be sent to an editor, not the final proof.
As some other people have noticed, there are a ton spelling/grammar issues in this book, including places where characters' names are spelled inconsistently (Everett/Everettt, Camreon/Cameron). There are also continuity issues and POV/narrative voice problems (e.g., jumping from third-person to first-person narration). That was fairly normal for these two authors in their earlier collaborations, and I'd throw it in my "suspension of disbelief" pile and read around it, but their recent books have gotten significantly better. This was a puzzling step down.
My biggest stumbling block as a reader was the way the Spanish was handled. Aside from the Spanish itself (which appears to be Google Translate, with the odd phrasings and the way Ezra often refers to Felix in the feminine but doesn't establish he has some feminization kink anywhere else), the bold, italic translations that sometimes appeared after the Spanish sentences threw me out of the story. Sometimes authors will include italicized (not bolded) translations after non-English dialogue to show the character whose POV we're in understands the language and is translating it in their head. Felix, though, doesn't speak Spanish. Maybe this was drafting material that was left in? If the intent is just to clue the readers in on what's happening, I'm not sure it's necessary; since this is a KU book, most of the readers are going to be using either a Kindle or the Kindle app, and the translation feature is usually decent enough for Spanish to give the gist. Alternately, a list of the phrases used in the book could be included at the end.
I'm really hoping this book is reedited and rereleased at some point, because Felix and Ezra deserve the polish.
2⭐️ Ezra has just gotten out of prison and wants revenge on his ex lover, Jasper. He decides to kidnap and eventually kill Jasper’s son, Felix. However, instead of killing Felix, their relationship turns into something twisted and s*xual.
This book has: -horrible serial killer / mentally unwell college student -age gap -plus size MC, diverse characters -very unhealthy Daddy k*nk -gruesome violence -kidnapping & abuse -Stockholm syndrome
Let me preface this by saying I do really like the authors. The Vitale Brothers series is one of my favourites, and I know that these authors are very capable writers. I still love them. But oh my god, I’m so sorry, but I really didn’t like this one.
The characters are both irredeemably awful and one-dimensional. The book is riddled with editing errors. The progress of their relationship makes no sense. Honestly, I couldn’t see this as a romance, but rather just an extremely abusive and sad situation. I didn’t find any of the spice even the least bit sexy, but quite the opposite. I think this book just wasn’t for me. Maybe if you like dark themes for the sake of being dark, you’ll like this one. I really wanted to like it! I think it’s cool that the MC is plus size, as this isn’t something we get a lot. But oh my, I really felt uncomfortable reading this 🥲
This had such an interesting premise, it just fell slightly flat for me. The characters were interesting and i loved how opposite they were to each other. The plot was sooo interesting and i feel like there aren't many authors that have the guts to write plots like this!
I enjoy the build up of their relationship, them figuring each other out and also finding out more about each other.
I really enjoyed the first 60-70% of this book, it had me gripped and i was really enjoying the changing dynamic of the characters and their relationship - but it felt like the last 30 ish percent was rushed. I think if it was a bit longer of a book then the ending could've been fleshed out a bit more because it felt very fast and sudden.
I will however continue to read Skyler and Brea's books because I love them and their books!
I waaaaanted to love this so badly….soooooo badly. And, for the first little bit I was doing a little shoulder dance because the promise was so beautiful. But, hey…no.
Revenge on my ex who put me away? Okaaay. Kidnapping his son to get back at him? Okaaay. Things progressing quite heavily between kidnapper and kidnapped son? Okaaaay. None of this was an issue – again, the promise WAS there. But, the cringe dialogue from this scary and vicious guy??? No thanks.
There is nothing that can take me more out of the zone then someone who is supposed to be the scariest guy alive saying cringe stuff that IS supposed to come off mean…but instead just has me sighing loudly. I’m so sorry guys….it’s probably a me thing but it was that serious for me.
I was expecting this since the book was short, but the development of the plot and relationship was far from being perfect.
Ezra kidnapped Felix, and suddenly, Felix is all in love with Ezra. We know nothing about Ezra or what he went to prison for exactly.
Don't even get me started on the Spanish. I may not be a native speaker (though I do speak it), but some sentences definitely didn't seem right. This is a pet peeve of mine. I don't like it when authors insist on using a language but do it incorrectly. It's even worse when they do it with my native language (French) 💀. At least, if it had been a language I didn't speak, I wouldn't have cared.
It was OTT and not realistic at all, but I had fun reading this so it at least deserves 3 stars.
None of what Ezra did was justifiable. When he was sent to prison he wasn't innocent, he was guilty AF so there was absolutely no reason for revenge.Cameron was a horrible person but he deserved humiliation not extermination. Ezra's motivations lacked rhyme or reason and although they closely match the motivations of real life serial killers, readers usually prefer to see an MC as a protagonist and an antagonist or worse in this case a villain as a side character especially in this type of genre. Felox was even more sick than Ezra if that's at all possible. This story was not only gross but now well thought out. I have read a few of this duo's books and they were really good but this is the worst story they have ever written.
If you like your daddy kink with a side of dark then this is the book for you! It's absolutely unhinged in the greatest of ways! Ezra & Felix are completely crazy... Both in general and for each other and I wouldn't have it any other way 😈.
I've been meaning to read this for a while now and I'm so glad I did because man oh man was it a wild sexy ride😜🔥. The complete and debauched way that Ezra owns Felix is just everything a dark romance should be 🙈. Felix comes into his own under Ezra's watchful eye though and the two can match each other in who is the more unhinged and deranged but that's why they fit so perfectly.
I cannot recommend this book enough! But definitely check your triggers, because as always your mental health is important💜.
