This 2007 case supplement to Coffee, Seligman and Sale's Securities Regulation, 10th Edition includes several important new cases, including the Tellabs decision on pleading scienter and other decisions dealing with the 'scheme to defraud' doctrine, the requirements for class certification in securities class actions, and the SEC's hedge fund registration rule.
Wow. Wow. Did I say Wow? I was always under the (obviously mistaken) impression that people who wrote laws could speak English. This book does a great job of translating the recent additions to the Securities and Securities Exchange Acts.
I will refrain from ranking this book, because my impression is that it is subject to perhaps drastic change within the next few years.
