When not writing she can usually be found photographing families (don’t worry they pay her to do it), yelling at her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, dreaming of travelling somewhere else or cooking something her husband will ask her to make again but knows she won’t because Megan doesn’t do recipes.
Megan enjoys writing romance that will make you laugh one minute only to cry the next. Don’t ask why because she doesn’t know.

I adore the Right Place, Right Time series from Canadian indie author Megan McSpadden who writes with so much heart and humour. I simply want to be friends with every single one of her characters. With that said, I wanted to read her two bonus stories, An Unexpected Christmas and An Unexpected Vow, before Book 3 releases on April 1st.
This bonus story released to newsletter subscribers is so heartfelt and filled with so much love. It's evident Meg put great thought into crafting Marley and Bennett's wedding day and I thought it represented them perfectly. There were so many sweet moments, yet my favourite has to be Bennett revealing the wood in the ring. The found family trope remains strong and I am so glad this couple has a host of people willing to show up for them.
An Unexpected Vow was the perfect reading escape right now and will tide me over until The ABCs of You and Me releases at the beginning of April. Meg's writing hits all of the right marks for me and I cannot wait to see what else she has in store.

the most beautiful wedding novella!! actually perfection for me! Marley and Bennett just get softer and swoonier each time they appear on page and I love them for it!!
