But that all came tumbling down when Royce Lexington dumped her on race weekend in front of a crowd.
Broken and humiliated, she ran away to Monaco to hide out in hopes of finding herself.
As each day passed, she grew more accustomed to her new life; that was until her ex-boyfriend’s dad gate-crashed her holiday.
Sparks fly between them until eventually, they both give in to the forbidden temptation.
Could Creed Lexington be the unexpectedly love she never thought she would find, or was she destined to have her heart broken by father as well as son?

First off Ash I am so proud of you and so excited for you that your first F1 romance is out in the world! Thank you for sharing the snippets, Ideas and letting me read it in its raw form I’m honestly so grateful and I loved every minute of it
Anaïs was dumped publicly by F1 driver Royce and flees to Monaco thanks to her friend but her solo trip soon hits the curb when she realises Creed Lexington is there and she’s been accidentally booked into his penthouse but Creed isn’t just an F1 boss he’s also her ex boyfriends dad. The tension between these 2 is off the charts and you can tell from the get go that the sexual tension is intense and the more time they spend together you are screaming for them to finally give in to their feelings! But seeing them develop a friendship beforehand was just so cute how he wanted to show her Monaco and always wanted to be around her! And oh my god… that “fuck it” moment when they finally give in I was screaming, kicking my feet giddy!!!!!!! I love anaïs she became her own and I loved seeing her getting her glow back Creed… oh this man when he finally gave in to his feelings and let himself be happy my heart was bursting! I love how Anaïs and Royces relationship was handled he was focused on his career and she deserved to be treated like a queen and Creed worships the ground she walks on!
The F1 world is my favourite and Ashlee did it so much justice it was spot on and I honestly didn’t want to leave it!
F1, Spice, millionaire, f1 boss, ex boyfriend’s dad, age gap….. I mean that is the best combination ever!😂 I can not wait for more F1 romance, drivers, drama, races and spice from Ashlee it’s going to be amazing!
As someone who also enjoys F1, I am so happy Ashlee has taken her love for F1 and decided to put it into a book🤭 Ashlee really gets into the details in this book and her love for F1 is evident through these details.
This book follows Anaïs who is a social media influencer and when we meet her she is going through a sudden breakup with her F1 driver boyfriend Royce. Yes she’s upset and while she has her grieving period she decides she is done with the moping around and it is time to move on with her life. Her bestie Nora encourages her to take a spontaneous break to Monaco and it will all be arranged by her.
Now our MMC of this book is none other than Creed Lexington and Creed is Royce’s father- I think you are connecting the dots to this one👀 Well during a break Creed decides to return back to Monaco only to see his penthouse is already occupied by a woman who is never far from his thoughts and that is none other his son ex-girlfriend.
These two developed quite a friendship before the romance was involved and this added so much to the story, it made the slowburn and tension that was brewing even more delicious. These two fought their feelings for one another as they didn’t want to destroy what they already had, but chemistry wins out at the end of the day and when the tension between these two break you better be ready.
While these two thought they were going to leave the events of Monaco behind it certainly wasn’t the case as the pair are reacquainted shortly after Anaïs decides to work for Saint Onyx social media team - did I mention that Creed was the CEO of the team👀.
While this book is focused on Creed and Anaïs - I praise Ashlee how she reflected Anaïs and Royce’s relationship post breakup. There was no back blood between the two, Royce was career focused and Anaïs respected his decision to end things rather than string her along and it gave her the opportunity to meet someone who would treat her for the Queen that she is. The same goes for Royce, while he was focused on his F1 career I feel that Anaïs just wasn’t his person.
Thank you so much to the author who provided this e-arc for my honest thoughts 💭
He’s the CEO of an F1 team. She’s the ex-girlfriend of the lead driver… who also happens to be his son. Yes, the forbidden is forbiddening.
We’ve got:
Age gap Tension so hot it could melt the tyres off a race car Chemistry you can feel
Anaïs and Creed? Obsessed. They’re genuinely likeable, the pacing hits exactly right, and I felt like I was strapped into the story right beside them. But the part that really got me was the whole “finding yourself, figuring out who you are, and falling in love while doing it” arc—and a man who sees every version of you and still chooses you. Every time.
Honestly? Anaïs is living her best life and I fully support it. Every ex-boyfriend should come with a hot single dad perk if you ask me.
I devoured this book. Like…fully inhaled it and you should too!
I absolutely loved Creed Lexington. But I love all the men Ashlee writes about. Anaïs gets her heart broken and goes off on holiday to find herself, but a little booking error puts her in the arms of someone she would least expect. Her ex-boyfriends dad. 😏
After a slow burn they finally get their happily ever after and her ex-boyfriend Royce is accepting of it after a tantrum of course. But he's just happy that his dad and Anaïs are happy.
I found myself proper laughing at some bits throughout, such as the dinosaurs scene and Anaïs trying to resist Creed. But of course they are inevitable.
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the whole formula one aspect of the book as that doesn't interest me in real life, but I absolutely loved the book from beginning to end.
I'd definitely recommend it and I cannot wait for the next books in the series.
Thank you for another great read Ashlee ❤️

💖 Stop what you're doing and read this! 5 Stars for Sparks Fly! Seriously, I just finished Ashlee Rose’s Sparks Fly and I'm obsessed. This book is everything a romance should be, taboo and oh so delightful, it honestly just made my whole week!
Can we talk about Anaïs and Creed? I honestly can't get enough of them! Their chemistry is beyond amazing. Creed is the perfect blend of charming and complicated, and Anaïs is such a relatable, strong heroine. I was grinning like crazy through the whole thing, just totally caught up in their story and the incredible tension. The emotional moments felt so real, I even cried some happy tears towards the end!
If you’re looking for a book that is genuinely charming, sexy, and will make you feel totally happy, you need to grab this one immediately. I'm already jealous of anyone reading it for the first time. Total 5-star winner!
Ashlee turned up the heat in Sparks Fly! age-gap, off-limits romance that crackles Anaïs, a confident social-media influencer and Creed, the powerful and composed CEO of an F1 team who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend's father Their chemistry is instant, electric, and absolutely amazing, Anais is bold and ambitious, Creed is steady and magnetic, and the push-and-pull between them is proper addictive. The F1 backdrop adds glamour, speed, and high stakes to an already sizzling story. If you love taboo attraction, intense slow-burn heat, and a hero who can set a room on fire just by looking at the heroine, Sparks Fly delivers exactly what the title promises! Highly recommend Ashlee knocked it out the part once again!
I’m not even being dramatic when I say, I inhaled this book.
Forbidden romance? ✔️ Ex-boyfriend’s dad? ✔️ Age gap? ✔️ Formula 1 racing? ✔️ Spice that should come with a warning label? ABSOLUTELY ✔️
This one had me glued to the pages, cancelling plans, ignoring life, and whispering “just one more chapter” far too many times. The tension, the chemistry, the fast-paced F1 backdrop, it all just worked. I couldn’t put it down and honestly didn’t want it to end.
If you like your romance forbidden, high-stakes, and unapologetically spicy, trust me, you’re going to want this one.
I am admittedly not a slow burn girly but the build-up in this book was sooo delicious it didn't feel like a slow burn.
Creed and Anais are everything you love in a forbidden romance the Ex Boyfriends dad who's been scorned and the broken influencer! I honestly ate this book up, their friendship to the f*#k it moment. The spice and those intimate moments were so delicious.
Can't wait for more in this series, who's watching the F1 this weekend!!
I loved the book at the beginning.and couldn't put it down! but was so disappointed when her ex found out she was dating his dad behind his back. it felt like everything was fixed and wrapped with a nice bow within a matter of minutes and then the book was pretty much over. still a good book just a little disappointing ending.

Phenomenal!! I literally don’t the words to describe this book! I love it so much I wish I could just rate an infinite amount of stars for this one!
This is the ideal age gap and forbidden workplace romance all mixed in with F1! Ashlee always dominates the age gap romances but she killed it with this one! I was team Creed and Anaïs the whole book, even though there was a few parts I wanted to just slap some sense into him! 😂
Seriously! Go pick this book up!!! It’s a must read in your life!
