This book was hard to read because I can relate to Tess on so many levels, yet this book ended up being my favorite.
This is a story about Tess and Tyson. Tess has been bullied her whole life, which leaves her with many insecurities. After she graduates college, she decides she needs a break, so she goes against her mothers wishes, and she rents a small place in another state and for a much needed break. This is where she meets Waylon, and their story begins. This book is full of twists and turns and has some triggers, so be sure to check those. All in all, this was an excellent read and a five-star read for me.

I think this is my favorite book of the series. This hits home for so many people I know. And for me someone who has been body shamed most of my life.. by family..
This is such an uplifting story. Yes it deals with trauma, heartache, but the journey to healing is so worth it!
I wish we had more Tysons in the world.
The patience, friendship, banter and showing love in such an amazing way makes this story that much more meaningful.

Cute contemporary romance 😍
This is about Tess a girl pushed into being a nurse who wanted to go on vacation before taking her board exam and taking a job that her mom got her at the local hospital. Tyson owned a bar in a quaint little town that Tessa decided to vacation in. Tysons town was trying to be bought up by a local rich man to change it to a bigger city feel to it. See what happened 4 ⭐️ 2.5 🌶

This book had me hooked from the start. This was my first book that I have read by Lyla Davis and it won't be the last. This book is relatable in so many ways. I feel for the main character as I was body shamed growing up. There are points that had me cry, but the way she begins to heal is amazing. I can't wait to read the rest of the books!

Tess runs off to Star Harbor to find herself with lots of baggage. Tyson owns the local bar. The town is trying to be bought out by a millionaire, Conrad. This book is the best one of the series. Very slow burn! Tess is very relatable and the chemistry with Tyson is perfect. The drama kept me engaged and has a great ending

This story of Tess is SO AMAZING!!! It's smart, funny, thought-provoking, emotional, and cute story!!! I think this one is my Favorite so far!!! I can't wait to see what Lyla comes up with next!!!

I thought this book would be a cute contemporary romance but it ended up being much more than that. There are some serious topics this book and a few that resonated with me. There are elements of suspense which I was not expecting. Overall I enjoyed it very much.
