This was an enjoyable read. I really felt for Mia during this book, all she has known is abusive circumstances and she is afraid of being alone in the world as stays in her absuive relationship. It is interesting seeing how she develops throughout as she has no idea who or what she is, just thinking she is a regular human. The pacing of the story is good, the plot kept me interested and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book. There are a lot of spicy scenes from 50% onwards and definitely would consider fast burn based on how long they've known each other.

Kane is the head alpha of the pack whose claimed Mia and he is the most obsessed with getting her pregnant and claiming her. He is used to being in control and making the choices for the best of the pack which causes a lot of issues with Mia. Finn, another alpha, is the first one to discover Mia at her workplace and works slowly in becoming her friend and getting to know her and having a place in her life. He is very impulsive when it comes to threats towards Mia's safety. Jace is the last alpha in the pack and is the more closed off person in the beginning but he tries to activate Mia's omega nature by leaving his clothes in her apartment and becomes just as obsessive as the other two. I like Finn the best right now but all of them have made mistakes with how they approached the whole situation with Mia.

Can recommend this first book in the series and looking forward to book two!

Layla Sparks's "Marking Mia: An Omegaverse Reverse Harem Romance" plunges readers into a thrilling paranormal world. The story opens with a heart-pounding prologue where a pregnant omega, Mia, fights for her life alongside three devoted alphas. This scene of moonlit suspense quickly transitions to Mia's struggle in an abusive relationship, setting the stage for her destined meeting with Jace, Finn, and their pack leader, Kane.

As Mia grapples with fear and desire, the three alphas emerge as both protectors and passionate lovers, each adding a unique intensity to the developing reverse-harem dynamic. Sparks skillfully blends sensual, tension-filled encounters with moments of genuine tenderness. The narrative pulses with erotic energy while also exploring themes of safety, consent, and belonging.

There are moments when the novella employs tropes common to genre novels, such as stalking, possessiveness, and rapid shifts in power. Still, it always maintains a brisk pace and raw emotional intensity. As a result, it is a compelling selection for readers who enjoy steamy paranormal romances that balance drama with passion.

What a fun bit of writing, a first time read from author and enjoyed it immensely.
Oh I liked the Alphas then I didn't lol then I did.
Mia i adored her and she annoyed me.
The things that should have been handled differently hmmm mmm.
She_overworked and unloved. The Ex needed to be kissed with a shovel.
The three were in a hurry and in their need to protect they did the stupid.
Communication is a thing!
Great story. Good characters. Pretty hot. With a pinch of danger. And a sick cliff. Enjoy.

I can't handle the suspense! I really need Book Two as soon as possible. Our main character has a knack for disappearing and getting into tricky situations. Now, it seems like someone mysterious has caught up with her!.

I just got bored. 63%, and I couldn't do it anymore. Nothing interesting was happening in the plot. I don't know, maybe it's just not the type of book I want to read right now.
