Wicked, spicy and with the most delightful sense of humor !
A summoning that wasn't to be, but turned to be the best that could have happened.
A short but intense story with Cassiopeia, a sweet and wicked demoness that turns John's life upside down.
The interactions, banter and chemistry are absolutely delicious.
The steamy scenes pack enough heat to burn all around.
But under that is Cassie has a huge heart,vulnerable and love happens.
Marit Prins knew how to keep me hanging into each word with a perfect blend of spice,sass,love and a touch of humor.

I was lucky enough to get an ARC for this.
Pleasure demon(es) with sas and a "stuffy" professor, I was hooked from the 1st page.
The writing style is pleasant. It made me laugh, and the spice in on point!
Another song added to the list that will trigger my memory every time I hear it.

Heet voor een Helleveeg is een losstaand te lezen boek uit de Onverwachte Monsters serie en wat las deze weerheerlijk weg!
Marit heeft echt een hele fijne en vlotte schrijfstijl. Ze weet hoe ze humor en spice in een boek moet gebruiken en doordat het boek niet heel lang is (zo'n 100 bladzijdes) vlieg je er doorheen als lezer en is hij veel te snel uit. De personages kruipen stukje bij beetje zonder dat je het doorhebt in je hart en het was dan ook even lastig afscheid nemen van dit leuke boek.
Zowel Cassie als John wisten me positief te verrassen met hun wat diepere laag Cassie was zo'n leuk en lief personage, ik heb vaak om haar zitten lachen ook door de flapuit momenten. En dan John.. die wat dominante kant van hem was een leuke touch!
Ik ben heel benieuwd wat Marit ons lezers nog meer gaat brengen!

It's obviously no surprise that I adore Marit, but this #novella made me love her even more.
This story is about our MMC, John, who is a high school teacher that accidentally summons a HOT pleasure demon whilst grading papers one night. But poor John is a gentleman whose idea of a fun time is when his ex would get on top- once a month.
When suddenly face to face with Cassiopeia (Aka Cassie), John's whole world is flipped on its axis. What's a nerdy guy to do when he's got a smoking hot pleasure demon who's dying to give him his every desire?
Our FMC, Cassie is so used to booooring sexcapades with men of all shapes and sizes. So when she suddenly feels drawn to this nerd, who somehow knows how to handle his pleasure demon, she finds herself wanting more and more to stay... but what will Uncle Lucy have to say about this?
I don't want to give away too much of this story. The banter is sooo cute. I looooove Cassie! She's the best brat and the two are so charming together.

This one was a mixed bag for me, landing squarely in the 3-star range. Let's start with the good: the banter between the demon and the science teacher? Absolutely delightful! Their back-and-forth was genuinely witty and charming, and it really made the pages fly by when they were sparring. The "sinfully hot, adorably flustered science teacher" definitely lived up to the hype, and their dynamic was the strongest part of the book.
However, the paranormal romance genre just isn't my cup of tea, and unfortunately, that's where this story ultimately lost me. While the premise had potential, the "Hell is calling me home… and bringing trouble with it" aspect felt a bit too fantastical for my usual romance preferences.
In short, if you're looking for fantastic banter and don't mind a journey to Hell and back, give it a shot! But if you prefer your romance to stay firmly grounded in the mortal realm, you might find yourself skimming through parts.
I do always enjoy trying new genres and appreciate the opportunity for this ARC!

Hot for Hellfire was a fun, short and spicy read that did exactly what it promised. A quick dip into demon romance with plenty of heat.
Cassie, the bratty demon, was definitely my favorite part of the story. Her attitude, sass and chaotic energy made this novella entertaining and playful to read. She really carried the vibes for me.
That said, the writing style leans more toward tell rather than show, which kept the emotional depth and character development on the surface. I would have loved a bit more immersion and layering, especially when it comes to feelings and worldbuilding.
Still, for a short story, this was an enjoyable and spicy little read. Not groundbreaking, but fun for what it is and perfect if you’re in the mood for something quick and hot.

If you’re looking for a hot, fun, and short read, Hot For Hellfire is it! Cassie is so fun and very caring for someone who doesn’t have feelings! John is the perfect guy for Cassie. Someone who can tame her wild side and even encourage her bratty behavior (of course not without funishment). I love them together. They mesh so well!
Uncle Lucy is definitely one of my favorite side characters. He is wrapped around Cassie’s finger and it’s evident.
This was a much needed read after all the novels I’ve been reading lately. It’s funny, low stakes, steamy, and actually has a pretty good storyline. I can’t wait to read more from Marit.

Hot for Hellfire was too cute. Cassie is an unapologetic brat, and I loved watching her realize there’s a whole world available to her beyond her usual type. The dynamic with John was especially fun; his control streak felt like it clicked into place naturally for a short read, and it gave the story that satisfying push-pull without dragging.
This one delivers quick laughs, character growth, and a demon who learns how to love a man who knows how to handle a woman who refuses to be tamed the easy way. Short, spicy, and surprisingly sweet.

Oh my, what a quick fun novella to read. I love the both characters, but Cassie takes the lead. With the certainty of repeating myself, she’s FUN.
The story is funny and witty with a very happy ending.

Cassiopeia is sassy, bratty, and utterly nerve-wracking. John is nerdy, studious, and 100% a teacher. What could go wrong, right? The book was short, but hilarious, the smut was very smutty, and I just loved it, 5 stars. Keep up the good work, Marit!

Dit is de tweede novelle die ik van Marit Prins lees en ik vond het leuk om te ontdekken dat ze me weer aangenaam heeft verrast. Ze plaatst niet alledaagse personages in situaties die dat wel zijn, en komt er mee weg om dit totaal niet vreemd over te laten komen. Als je vooraf denkt dat het verhaal misschien een beetje gek is, dan heb je wellicht gelijk, maar tijdens het lezen vergeet je dat volledig.
Een demon, een mens en een hoop steamy scenes vormen zich tot een hartverwarmend en spicy geheel. Het onmiskenbare plezier dat Marit Prins bij het schrijven moet hebben gehad, weet ze over te brengen in haar novelle. Ze laat je regelmatig lachen om de humor van de karakters en de omstandigheden waar ze in belanden. Ze geeft de hoofdpersonen iets mee dat zorgt dat je ze leuk gaat vinden en het verhaal in een adem uitleest.

Oh wat een heerlijke spicy novelle is dit. Vanaf het begin tot het einde is het genieten. Marit heeft het verhaal zo mooi en leuk geschreven, binnen no time (en een vleugje magie) komen de personages tot leven en nestelen ze in je hart. Ik heb enorm moeten lachen om Cassie. Ze is echt zo’n leuke demon en tja de natuurkunde leraar, is wel een goed gelukt exemplaar voor zijn beroep. Ik heb er enorm van genoten en vind dit echt een heerlijk tussendoortje om te lezen. Het heeft een fijne dosis spice en humor, maar je leert beide personages toch ook wel wat beter kennen. Enige nadeel is dat hij van mij best langer had mogen zijn❤️
