Now it seems those wild days had consequences.

Years later, a viral social media post breaks the news that he may have a newly orphaned, teenage son he never knew about.

Sweet Music is a pleasant novel that filled me up with a lot of nice and warm feelings.

Bella is the children librarian in Sugarville Grove, she had to make some adjustments to her single life since she became the guardian of her cousin's teen son. Cash Law is a famous singer, music is his life, until he see a video showing a boy that plays the guitar like him and has his looks, so he decided to go back to go back to his hometown, Sugarville Grove, to meet him.

I loved how Cash wasn't afraid to be a father since the start, but as well as he didn't forced his presence into Bella and his son's lives. Bella was such a good character, she embraced her new life without any hesitation, and even if she is scared, she lets Cody choose if he wants to meet his father.

I appreciate Clara Pines writing and storytelling: they are easy, effortless and compelling to read.
I recommend this book and the previous ones.

What a beautiful story! I loved it too much for my own good. Just kidding, you can’t love a book too much. It’s my favourite now in the series so far but yes it’s definitely a must read.
Music and love are the center stage of this beautifully written heartfelt story and all the other wonderful things and great characters are revolving around it.
Unexpected shocking news made the rock star Cash Law come flying back home to meet his 15 years old son he didn’t know existed and lived with his aunt Bella.
Bella and Cash come with a heartbreaking baggage as they both had a huge crush in their teenage years that tragically ended with no trace left of what happened to their loved ones.
The story is so well told as usually by talented Clara Pines you can’t get enough of it even after it ends and wish for more.

This is my favorite Clara Pines book (so far) in the Sugarville Grove series. I was hooked on the first page and couldn't put the book down. The complex characters intrigued me as the story unfolded. Their search for truly what was important in their lives captivated my imagination. I was not anticipating some of the surprises in the story. A definite must read.

Cash and Bella’s story is wonderful. An amazing story that reminds us of the magic of life, love and Christmas magic. Bella is working at the library in Sugarville Grove and raising her cousins son, Cody after she passes away. Bella sees herself as a shy, plain Jane. Bella loves Indie music and has since she was a teen. Cody loves music and plays the guitar. She encourages him to make a video and post it online. What transpires changes them both. Cash is a local boy born and raised in Sugarville Grove. His parents run the dairy. He hit it big when he was just out of school and has been touring and on the go ever since promoting his music. He hardly ever stops to go home. When he sees Cody’s online video he rushes home to meet his son. Unsure of things, he turns to his parents, family and Bella to navigate this new role. When life intervenes and starts to fall apart past secrets have a way of mending broken hearts, healing past hurts and making these three a true family. This story is well written. Each and every character explained and their role is important on how they relate in the story. You don’t want to miss Sweet Music’s Christmas magic. 5+ stars.

Bella works at the library in Sugarville Grove, her hometown. She’s always been a nerd and shy. She’s loved indie music since she was young. As of now she’s the guardian of her cousin’s son, Cody since her passing. She wants to make sure he has a stable home. He’s new to town. Cody is into music too. He plays, and writes music as well. He wants to make a video and put it on the internet. How will people like his music? Charles Lawrence, rock star Cash Law is a farm boy from the quaint small town of Sugarville Grove. He’s living the life. He see a video of Cody, who looks and plays just like him. He knows that he’s the father. He cancels a show and heads home to Sugarville Grove and his family’s farm. He can’t wait to meet Cody. He has a lot of time to make up. Bella, Cash and Cody make plans to spend as much time together as possible. Cash loves being a father. He just has to prove that he’s in it for life. Bella is doing a good job raising him. There’s something about Bella that familiar. What can it be? She has a secret too. She knows she’s not Cash’s type. His type is more like her beautiful cousin, Cody‘s mom. It was a one time thing and Cash thought she was someone else. He was never told about Cody. Can the three make a go of it? The three navigate the holidays and family gatherings. Cody loves having a family. Will they prove that Cody is Cash’s son? Cash doesn’t care. He loves Cody. There are a few secrets but that’s what makes it circle back to the three. Nothing sexier than a man who loves children. The characters are great. I was rooting for all of them. Worth the read. I didn’t want to put it down. I received this book for my honest review. I give it voluntarily.

Sweet Music (A Small Town Christmas Romance): Sugarville Grove - Book 7
If you ever wanted to read a good, clean, romance story this is IT. I loved this story so much. It is one of those stories that you want it to keep on going after it ends.
Rockabilly star Cash Law (formerly known in his hometown of Sugarville
Grove, Vermont as Charles Lawrence) has made it to the top in the music business. As a youngster he helped to milk cows on his parents dairy farm. Music was his passion so until he could break into the music venue he wrote music and corresponded with others via the internet about music. One person he was drawn to was a women who used the pseudo name “Sweet Jane.” When he made it big, Cash lost track of Sweet Jane but always felt she was the one person he felt a connection. Could he ever find her again? The media saw a teenager post a home performance on line and could diminish Cash’s reputation with a scandal. The young teenager, Cody, has moved to Sugarville Grove to live with Bella ( Cody’s mother’s best friend) when his mom dies. This story is emotion driven but grounded with integrity. My kind of story! I think this is Ms Pines’ best book yet….but I think that with each book she has authored! Bravo!

I have read and enjoyed this sweet, clean small town romance series and this is the best of the best. Charles Lawrence alias Cash Law to his rockabilly fans has a shock of his life…..he has a son he never knew existed. But there is no denying the teenager he watches on the internet video and leaves immediately to his hometown where his son also happens to live. Once home he realizes that it’s been years since he has come home and as the saying goes “There’s no place like home!” So not only does he want to connect and get to know Cody, he wants to rethink the future. Also being drawn to Bella, Cody’s guardian has him also wondering why?
Bella is the children librarian in Sugarville Grove and for the last year also Cody’s guardian. Such a quiet young men who is still coming to grips after his mom’s death and moving to a small town. She encourages his love of music and agrees he should post a video of a song he wrote. Only she didn’t expect him to become an internet sensation which lead to a surprise appearance of his dad.
There are a few more surprises in this can’t put down book. Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC, all opinions expressed are my own. #SweetMusic #ClaraPines #SugarvilleGrove

Sugar grove vermont is like that living in a snow globe. It's like a christmas card. 🎄

I have enjoyed this whole series and this book has been absolutely a bonus add music, family and you have a complete story. i felt like this was a bonus.

This book is music to the heart.

Bella
An aunt and fill in mom and she's so much more, the librarian. But she has the perfect job. family is the most important to her. taking care of her nephew. cody is the center of her world. things from the past soon, come to light. music has always been part of her past. In a sense.

Cash lawrence.
He's a rock star, from sugar grove vermont.
Where everyone knows everyone. But music flows from cash. he's an all around good guy.
When going back home, everyone hollers shoes, as soon as you walk in the door. at the lawrence home.
Now, to figure that out, you'll have to read the story. It's wonderful simply wonderful story.

Sweet Music (Sugarville Grove Book 7)
By: Clara Pines

5 Stars

Another winner. When Cash Law finds out he has a possible kid, he hightails it home to Sugarville Grove. Bella has been taking care of Cody since his mother passed. Now, Cash is in town to make things right, but Bella has her reservations. While they are smoothing the road for Cody, they may just be smoothing a path for their own future when their pasts collide in a magical Christmas miracle.

I loved this story. It was the best one yet, and it was so so sweet. Cody and Cash and Carl (IYKYK)make this so realistic. It was another christmas story where two people find themselves while finding each other again. Together, with the rest of the Lawrence Bunch, of course. It was beautifully written and had me in tears more than once. It was definitely a tear jerker, and you will need the tissues.

I think this is actually my favourite book by Clara Pines, and I've loved most of her books so that is saying a lot. I really could not put the book down. I enjoyed all the characters, the writing and the plot, which felt very different from other books by this author. But the book retains the same heartwarming moments, cozy small town feeling and loving family that we find in her other books. Bella is raising her godson Cody - who is practically a musical genius - since his mom died a few months before. Cash is a famous musician who feels something is missing in his life. He runs home to Sugarville Grove when he sees Cody's video online. I love the tender interactions and the twists in the story. I cannot say enough good things about this book, I highly recommend it!

Sweet addition to the Sugarville Grove series by Clara Pines.
Bella is the children’s librarian in town, she’s raising her teenage “nephew”, Cody, since his mother died. She know that he is the son of rock star Cash Law but he never acknowledged his son.
Cash sees the video Cody posted and knows that’s his son. He rushes back to town to try to build a relationship with his son and finds himself attracted to Bella.
Such a sweet chance at redeeming his life by making his son the center of his life, and maybe having a chance at happiness with Bella too.

5 Star Review Sweet Music (Sugarville Grove #7) by Clara Pines

It was wonderful to be back in Sugarville Grove for Rockabilly star Cash Law aka Charles Lawrence and Bella’s story and it is complicated.

Beautifully written this one brought out all the emotions for me as Bella becomes the guardian for her cousins son Cody.

What follows is an emotional, at times heartbreaking and heartwarming story that ticked all the boxes for me.

When Cash sees a video of Cody performing, he gets the red eye back home to Vermont; it appears he has a son he never knew about.

However all may not be as it seems and the story is a roller coaster read that will draw you in and hold you captive.

Bella is raising, her cousin’s son and hoping that she is giving him a good home. Cash returns to Sugarville Grove when he sees a video of a young man has posted of himself singing. And singing well. Bella and Cody had been told Cash was Cody’s father and Cash wants to get to know the son he didn’t know he had. He and Bella meet and try to work to give Cash and Cody time together. Cash’s family is open and accepting of Cody. But how will Cash be a father if he is a singer who travels and performs concerts all over the world. I love this story of these people and how they are working to make Cody and Bella a part of the family. Wonderful characters.

It was so great to be back in Sugarville Grove and spend time with the Lawrence family and all the townspeople. This would have to be my absolute favourite book in this series and I just swooned for Cash Law. As per usual we are once again given an absolutely beautiful, well written story that will capture your heart. The characters Cash and Bella were so sweet and are connected but neither of them know exactly until the end and that, for me, was the pinnacle of this enduring romance. I loved it so much I read it a second time.

Wow! This book is amazing! I loved Cash, Bella and Cody’s story! Cody is Bella’s nephew that she’s raising after her sister’s death, and Cash finds out that he is his son. He comes back to get to know his son. This story grabbed me from the first page! I couldn’t put it down! The love they had for each other showed through. There were some secrets that come out, but they don’t let them change anything. The three of them make the perfect family. I love the Sugarville Grove series! Sweet Music is a wonderful addition!

So much to love.

Bella and Cash have a beautiful history and a huge misunderstanding between them. Their story was very enjoyable.
The people of Sugarville Grove are wonderful loving people that I would love to meet in real life. Cash’s family plays a big part in the story and each character adds a layer to the story.
There are so many unexpected twists in this story. It will keep you guessing and amaze you around every turn.

Sweet Music

Love the Sugarville Grove series. Sweet Music is exactly that, sweet. This book is truly a story filled with joy, heartbreak, grief, forgiveness and love. To be a huge rock star and find out through social media that you might have a son could be something disastrous or something special. The way Cash responds is the way I would have hoped. Then to find the love of your life through that experience is the best.

The story of Bella, a librarian in a small Vermont town. Her hometown. But life hasn’t been kind. In fact, it’s been hard with losses and sudden changes. And unexpectedly, “ she might have been getting a little wrapped up in her own hurt feelings from the past.” Enjoy the story of “Farmboy” and “Sweet Jane” and all the unscheduled events in their lives.

I love a good mystery, so I have been patiently waiting for Cash's story since we were first introduced to him in Sweet Surprises as "the one Lawrence who actually left Vermont. " In Sweet Home, we discover he is a singer, and now we finally get his story with Sweet Music. The secret baby trope can be difficult to pull off in sweet/Christian romance, but Ms. Pines did an excellent job telling the story & showing the redemption of Cash's character. And she shows us once again why she excels in writing within the single-parent subgenre with her spot-on depiction of a teenage boy who's lost his mother & is meeting his famous father for the first time. As the story progressed, I was impressed with how Bella maintained the perfect combination of caring for Cody while falling for Cash, which makes it all the sweeter when you finally get the happily ever after at the end of this book. Highly recommend this book as well as the whole Sugarville Grove series.
