I am a reader that reads every page of a book, including the dedication, author notes and acknowledgements. I started this book and I was crying before the story even started! Is that possible? It is when the author puts her heart and soul out there for everyone to read. Kasey Millstead decided she'd write some of her most personal feelings and experiences in her dedications and author notes to help us understand a bit about the background of this beautiful story, and it had me crying like a baby before chapter 1.

Tatted Cowboy introduces to Laura, that has had, well and truly, her fair share of heartbreak in her life. She moves to her childhood town of Pine Creek to live with her Grandmother to escape the stares and pity from the locals where she currently lives. She loves being back in town mixing with her old friends and school mates, and she loves the freedom of just being Laura, where no one knows what she's been through. While at Pine Creeks local pub, she runs into (literally) local tattooist, Luke, who is known by locals as a good guy, and her friends try and convince Laura, he'd be good for her. As Laura settles into town life, she buys her own beauty salon and finds a place to live on her own, and Luke makes sure he's never too far away. We watch their relationship as it grows, although not without a few twists and turns along the way, it is a beautiful romance to read. Luke is one hell of a leading man that will leave you swooning, and wanting to move to Pine Creek in hope of finding him. I also, really loved Laura's character, she was a strong independent woman, that wasn't afraid to take risks, but, also needed protecting in times of need. She was also extremely fragile through certain parts of the book, even though she put on a brave face, Luke always knew when she was troubled. The supporting characters are ones that we've known and loved from previous stories from the author, with a few new characters for us to love and cherish. Laura's Gran was a stand out for me, she was a beautiful soul that would move heaven and earth to make things better for her grand daughter, and at times she was very cheeky in playing match maker.

I have read all the books in the Down Under Cowboy series, and I've loved all of them, but, I'll admit, this one is my favourite. Luke is the ultimate book boyfriend, and I guarantee he'll steal your heart.

Tatted Cowboy can be read as a stand alone book, but, I do enjoy recognising previous characters from her other stories in this series, so, I'd advise you read the others first.

I look forward to reading more of Kasey's cowboys in the future, but, those cowboys will have to be good to beat Luke as my favourite. ;)

5 HUGE stars for this book.

Tatted Cowboy by Kasey Millstead is a heart wrenching and heartwarming story; it’s a text that will strip readers bear because so many will be able to relate to Laura Carlisle’s back story and all that she had to endure due to a tragic accident. It’s a story of second chances in a multitude of ways – a second chance to live…a second chance to love…a second chance to experience all life has to offer. Laura and Luke’s story will have readers invested from the very beginning and cheering for them to have the happy ending they both deserve.

Laura is an extremely realistic character. Her struggles with depression and guilt will resonate with readers and endear her to them even more. The fire within her and her will to carry on despite the sadness is inspiring on so many levels because she chooses to live and be happy, which is extremely difficult given what she’s been through.

From the first meeting, Luke is an amazing hero. He’s gorgeous, a dirty talker, and extremely driven on a variety of fronts, but the qualities that will have readers swooning over him are his caring nature and his ability to always know just what Laura needs.

Tatted Cowboy is a cathartic journey for the author, characters, and readers, and I feel so privileged that Kasey Millstead allowed us to experience it with her. Readers will be able to tell that this story is extremely personal to her; it is illustrated through Laura’s internal dialogue, her emotions, and the way she takes one day at a time.

Laura and Luke’s story will provide readers with hope – optimism that even in the darkest of situations, the light will find a way to break through as long as you’re willing to let it.

This is the 4th book in the Down Under Cowboy series. I love this series.

This is the story of a semi-patient man and a broken woman. Can he get passed her walls??? This story had the potential to be great. I did enjoy it, but it was a bit much on the sex and a bit short on the story if you know what I mean. Like these two literally screwed each other in damn near every chapter. Not only is that unrealistic, it also took away from the story-line. Don't get me wrong, I dig a good sex scene but I was like DAYUM.....these two don't know shit about each other.

For sure don't pass this one up. I hate reading books out of order and it looks like I may have missed the 3.5 book which is seriously about to piss me off. Happy reading. :)

Ver heart touching to read. I may not have been unfortunate to have experience what this woman & many others have, I’ve been Blessed, but I do sympathize with them. I also feel as though with Luke barging in without any patience might have helped Laura in some ways. Yes this was a happy ending but for a lot out there there isn’t one. Struggling with grief or other situations takes a toll on anyone in different ways.

Thank- You

Oh My Fucking Goodness....Kasey Millstead I'm sitting here trying to put into words how FUCKING AMAZING Laura & Luke's story was!! Let me say Ms Millstead that your Author's Note had me in tears and I knew from that moment that I would not be the same after reading this Amazing Story so THANK YOU for sharing this part of your life with us and THANK YOU for your uplifting, loving encouraging words for those who have experienced this as well.

Laura goes through the unthinkable a parent could only pray they never have to and from that moment she is just a shell of herself. Even though it was not her fault she blames herself completely and even her husband at the time Frank blames her and is disgusted by just the sight of her in his presence. Needless to say things are strained between them and one thing leads to another and next thing we know, Laura is starting her life all over. I was really happy she went to a place that brought her happy memories, comfort and a deliciously sexy tatted cowboy that had her knickers disintegrating. Even though she feels a strong attraction to Luke she's not really sure she should act on it but Grans-her grandmother tells her to live her life because she only has one so live it to the fullest...wise words from a wise woman. Luke the owner of the tattoo shop can't stop thinking about Laura since laying eyes on her but lo and behold to his surprise he's found his way in to her life...her grandmother and life has just gotten sweeter. Luke decides to go all out and peruse Laura deciding that it's now or never and Hot Damn that man had not only Laura getting her knickers wet but mine as well with his dirty talking tatted self!!! He made sure Laura knew that once he had her She.Was.His. and there was no turning back. As he gets to know her he knows she's hiding something big from him yet when it all comes out he could not believe that's what it was and is fucking hurt. Well that is all I will be sharing because I want everyone to go through all the different emotions this Fucking Amazing Book had me going through. Oh and the Epilogue...Loved, Loved , Loved the Epilogue. Get comfy and have your Kleenex ready and prepare your heart because it will Never Be The Same Again, but in a Good Way.

Like I mentioned before I.Will.Never.Be.The.Same.!! Kasey Millstead I cannot wait for the next story in this series and seeing more of Luke & Laura 5 Emotionally Scorching Hot Stars

Tatted Cowboy (Down Under Cowboys #4)
By: Kasey Millstead
5/5 stars

The author gives a very personal and touching account at the beginning of this book This was a devastatingly beautiful story told by someone who has first-hand experience and who could truly do a story like this, justice.

Laura is a mother who has a broken soul which is in need of mending and the one way that she can do that is to move to her grandmother’s place in Pine Creek. She’ll be able to get through the days without the pitying looks, continual offers of condolences and the guilt that has ridden roughshod over her heart. She needs more to look forward to and begin living again.

Luke is a life-long resident of Pine Creek and the first time he sees Laura, he is taken aback with her beauty and her shy sense of humor. He is the only tattoo artist in town and has built such a reputation that people come from miles around to have him do their tattoos and he is totally booked out and busy all the time. But he has no remaining family living close. After his mother died, his younger brother took off, traveling and living.

Because of what happened in the past, Laura feels like she can’t open herself up to another person because she may lose that person, or they may feel & look at her differently after they find out what is hiding in her past. But either way, her tattered heart can’t take the rejection or the loss. Luke doesn’t know her secrets, but has been warned that she is fragile. He is willing to be patient (mostly) and he is willing to do the hard work because he wants to be there for her and he really wants her as well.

I really liked Laura’s grandmother in this book. Marj was a hilarious old lady with a wicked sense of humor and a side of lovingly meddler. We also got to see the characters from the previous books; Edie & Jackson, Ava & Jeremy and Jules & Clay. We also meet the lead characters of the next book, Rogue Cowboy, Zeke & Sienna. Zeke is Luke’s brother and Sienna is the niece of Dory the owner of the Cow Calf saloon.

When a book can make you cry before you’ve even started, you know you’re reading something special. I wasn’t even finished with the Author’s Note when I started to well up, and that emotion stayed with me throughout the entirety of Tatted Cowboy. And it only made me love it more.

For Laura, it didn’t take long for her whole world to crumble. In fact, in one heartbreaking moment, she went from having everything she needed, to having nothing at all.

When she moves to Pine Creek to attempt to make something out of the shattered pieces of her life, she isn’t expecting to meet a man that would made that task so much easier.

For Laura, Luke is a terrifying prospect – one she can’t forget, one she’s afraid to grab a hold of, and one that will fight to keep her.

This book was beautiful. It conveyed such emotion, so much power in so few words, that I was unable to stop reading. And when I read the last word, rolled over and saw it was 1:57am, I knew it was a night well spent.

It’s hard, after reading what this story meant to the author, to separate Laura’s emotion from Ms. Millstead’s. And that added much weight to the story. But outside the pain that permeates the book – and popped up on occasion to keep me on the edge of tears – this was just a damn good read.

There were light moments, sexy moments, and enlightening moments. There were beautiful descriptions of a town that I’d like to visit and of a home I’d like to live in. And there was Luke. The strong, tattooed sweetheart, who was impatiently patient with his shattered lover, and who made me swoon.

Tatted Cowboy isn’t an ugly cry book, although it could have been. Instead, it’s a book that gives hope. And for that, I say thank you to Kasey Millstead for turning her pain, her loss, into something that can be enjoyed, appreciated and learned from.

Tatted Cowboy is the fourth book in the Down Under Cowboys series and can be read standalone. No cliffhanger. 5 stars – and so many more.

*** ARC provided on behalf of the author for an honest review ***

When we read the authors notes our hearts broke and we thought holy shit I'm not sure if we can read this being mum's ourselves we thought this was going to be a hard read..... and yes it was is some parts but it was great in others...

In the first couple of pages we could already feel the tears and we nearly closed the book but after meeting Laura we had to read her story and so we did...
Laura lived in Mount Isa she had a 2 year old son that drowned while in her care (really hard to read that part) as you would expect Laura was beside herself and blamed herself and her husband blamed her to. A year after her son had passed her marriage dissolved she moved in with her parents but then decided to move to pine Creek where she lived as a child, she moved in with her grandmother Marj......
Now we meet Luke, the tatted up cowboy sexy as sin who owns his own tattoo shop and runs it alone.....

Laura and Luke meet and slowly begin to fall.in love but is Laura. To broken to have that happy ever after or does her guilt and blame for losing her son out weigh her broken soul? Can Luke help her get to that happy place??

Quotes we loved from the book

“Because I don’t like the idea of another man’s hands feeling your body. And, I want to be the one to pop your cherry.”

“I’m gonna make you forget how to breathe, how to think, how to function. Your whole world is gonna disappear until the only thing you’re feeling is me. I’m going to consume you. I’m gonna do all that with my tongue and fingers.”

Great short book makes you want to grab your kids and squeeze them and makes you want to live your life to the fullest.....
We would recommend you read this book it is a good read!!!

Holy Xanax! This book is absolutely gut twisting from the start to the finish with all of the ups and downs!

I have not read a book of Kasey's that I haven't loved. But good Lord, reading Luke and Laura's story was one hell of a whirlwind! This is probably the hottest book of the Down Under series so far, and that's saying something!

Laura is a beautifully tormented soul. She's a lost young woman looking for a new beginning. When her world falls apart and she just can't take standing around and looking at all of the broken pieces anymore, she picks up everything and makes a big move. Looking forward to a new start and hopefully a sense of peace, she begins to build something for herself.

When town hottie Luke catches a glimpse of Laura he can't get her image out of bone dome. Just the manner of how she carried herself... whoo what's a man to do right? Well this one has his eye on his prize and he's gonna go hard for it. Laura better watch out with this country tasty on her trail....

Luke is a determined man of a past that has been pretty good to him for the most part. He is a local business owner, and local fan favorite. With a little help from some insiders can Luke crack Laura's protective walls? Will he be able to wiggle his way into her heart or will she be so afraid of a horrible repeat that she'll run.

This is a story that will tug on every heart-string you didn't know you had! In the midst of heartache, nerves, anxiety, mystery, wonders, and of course some serious steam, this is a definite must read!
Please follow along and find out if Laura will allow herself a happiness she deserves, and if Luke lands the woman that has been plaguing his mind and dreams!

This is Book 4 but can be read standalone. I had no clue when I read it that there were 3 before it! That just speaks volumes as to how well this book is written!
Laura and Luke…. HOT! AWESOME!! MUST READ!!!

Laura is consumed with her guilt and is having a hard time getting past the self-loathing that comes with it. You feel her pain and her broken heart right from the start. When she moves back to the town she grew up in, to be closer to her grandma, she finds her dream while walking down the street.

Luke runs his own tattoo shop, and has lots of ink of his own. When Laura literally walks into him in a bar, she is all he can think about. He doesn’t even know if she is local, or a tourist.

When their paths collide, with help from Grams, this start to build. Sexual tension is off the charts, and when the tension snaps, make sure you are in the blast zone! The emotion in this book will draw you in and spit you out in the best of ways. There is heartbreak, loss, love, lust, and happiness all waiting for you in the pages of this story.

"Ignorance is bliss. If you ignore your haters, they'll go away. Didn't Gran ever tell you that growing up?" She thinks for a moment. "Nope" She shakes her head once. "My parents used to tell me that a quick fist to the nose will shut anyone up."

Not only is this a sexy book, it also has a great message about second chances and learning to live again, for yourself and for the ones who love you. When you are able to forgive yourself, anything is possible. Anything.

I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Laura had the perfect life, a beautiful baby boy, a handsome husband, a home she took pride on. And one day all was lost due to a horrific accident.
She tried to live her life the best she could, but the people surrounding her wouldn't let her forget what happened so she took off and went to live with her grandmother, a familiar and comforting place. A place where no one knew her and everyone treated her like a "normal" person.
She started rebuilding her life, buying a place to start a business and a house. She wasn't looking for a relationship of any kind, and most of all she wasn't looking for love.
Luke is a tattoo artist, he owns the only tattoo shop around the area and lives a solitary life for the most part, dedicating most of his time and energy to his art.
Laura and Luke's lives cross paths at the local pub and with the help of a very darling and meddling grandmother they start seeing each other. Will Luke be able to help Laura carry the weight of her loss and start living again?
The first few pages of this book were heartbreaking, I don't know how any human being could survive a loss of that magnitude. You can almost feel the pain and the incredible sorrow this woman was feeling in your bones. I really like the fact that the author eases into the relationship of the main characters, their courtship happens over time making it more believable.
This is a book about second chances and forgiveness, no to others, but about forgiving yourself and start living again.
This book is part of a series, even though characters from the previous books make appearances on this one you'll be able to follow the story and read as a standalone.

My favorite one so far!

Tatted cowboy is the story of Laura and Luke and let me tell you the chemistry between them IS OFF THE CHARTS! Make sure you're not reading this story in public =)

Laura, my heart broke for her. She is looking for a fresh start after the death of her son and falling out of her marriage. So she moves to Pine Creek with her grandmother to get away from all the pitying looks. While there she follows her dreams of opening up a salon and meets Luke who she instantly lusts, but doesn't want to open herself up when she blames herself for her sons death.

Luke is the only tattoo artist in Pine Creek and is content with finding the occasional woman to hook up with to satisfy his needs. When he meets Laura he instantly knows she will be his and sets about showing her how much fun it can be to open up and live. However, he knows Laura is hiding someone and doesn't know how much longer he has to wait until she will talk to him.

The sex in this book is CRAZY GOOD! This story will have your moods swinging from happy, to sad, even horny. The side characters, like the grandmother also make this story so much better. Marj made me laugh so freaking much, I just couldn't wait to see what she's say next. I read this in one night, because I just couldn't put it down no matter how hard I tried.

Favorite quotes in this book:

"You need to know, I'm not a patient man. When I want something, I don't sit around waiting for it to come to me. I go after it, and I don't stop until I have it." --Luke

"You might want to move, love. The boys need to get through the doorway. And, wipe the drool from your chin, dear." --Grandma Marj

5 Stars!

I loved this book. I absolutely love this series because it is full of sexy cowboys who are alpha to the extreme and totally fall hard for the women they are meant to be with. With that, I really enjoyed this book. This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster full of laughter, tears, happiness, and anger. Get ready for a sweet and sexy ride full of twists and turns that will keep your attention until the very end.

This is Laura and Luke's story. Laura has faced tragedy that no one should ever have too. Now she is trying to put her life back together the best she can and moving is just one step. Back in town, she is trying to move on. When she runs into the sexy Luke, she knows she is in trouble. Luke wants Laura and he is going to make her his As these two grow closer, Luke knows Laura is holding back. And Laura knows the secret she holds could possibly tear them apart. Will Luke and Laura be able to withstand the obstacles they face? Will Luke and Laura be able to find a happy ending?

I loved, loved Luke! He was so sweet, sexy, alpha, possessive, and a total beast! And these two together- magical. They had chemistry and a connection from the very beginning. I also loved how Luke was with Laura. He was so sweet and compassionate. And steam! Wow! This book was scorching and I really thought my kindle was going to burst into flames!

I highly recommend this book and series!

Before i even started the book i was close to tears, the words Kasey Millstead wrote before you read the book are so powerful and emotional you know beautiful. The beginning of the book takes you to a dark place no-one wants to experience but for some people life is not that kind and they have to weather the storm that some parents have to experience. Previously i have read Vengeance is Mine by Kasey Millstead and these two books could not be more different. Which shows me what a talented writer Kasey is.
My heart broke for Laura and her husband. But i could really see her need to escape the whispers and stares. The town she settles in sounds so lovely, not my usual cup of tea as i prefer hustle and bustle but you know it is going to be good for Laura. Saying that though anyone who gets to deal with Luke gets a good deal, he is caring, full of patience and stamina (lol) to give Laura what she needs at this point in her life. When things get tough for Laura and Luke yeah it gets dicey but i loved the ending and could feel myself getting all emotional again with the concluding chapters. I will most certainly be reading the other books in the Cowboy Down Under series and it was great that this book can be read as a standalone story, as that is how i read it having never read the other books in the series.Kasey Millstead you wrote another book i loved and my heart is so full of love for the way you told a very difficult story in a way that though sad at ties was also full of promise about what can happen.

When Kasey Millstead wrote this book she brought out your emotions from the first page to the last. Laura had the worst thing that could happen to any mother happen to her. Which would make anybody especially a mother go into a deep depression which is what happen to Laura.

Trying to get over her depression Laura moved back home to Pine Creek to get away from the everyday nightmares. Laura knew it was time to move forward with her life to try to find happiness. What she wasn’t expecting was to being the owner of an amazing business and finding the love of her life so quickly.

When Laura ran into Luke it was love at first sight but her fear of her pass getting in the way make her push back. She was scared to open up to Luke thinking Luke wouldn’t want her because she was a damaged goods. What Laura didn’t know was Luke fell in love with her at the same time she did with him. Meeting Luke changed Laura for the better and helped her heal from her pass. I enjoyed reading about the sexy tatted up cowboy that showed Laura that love and dominating sex can conquer all. I especially recommend this book if you want to read about love and hot steamy sex.

I gave this book a hot 3.5 stars. Thanks Kasey for writing about Luke and Laura.

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed very well. The story has laughs, pain, grief and heartbreak.

If you have not already I would recommend reading the below books in this series first:
Cowboy Town (Down Under Cowboy Series Book 1) - (Edie & Jackson story)
Sky Cowboy (Down Under Cowboy Series Book 2) - (Ava & Jeremy story)
Cowboy Dreams (Down Under Cowboy Series Book 3) - (Jules & Clay story)

This is Laura and Luke’s story. Laura has come back to town to start over. After a devastating loss she is trying to put her life back together. She runs into Luke who is a tattooed smoking hot man. Luke owns the local tattoo shop. He is attracted to Laura and wants to build a relationship with her. He can feel her holding back a piece of herself. Laura is trying to get her life back together but feels that she will lose Luke if her secret ever came out. When the secret does come out will Laura loss Luke forever?

I loved these characters and also the side characters. There are some tear filled moments and some anger filled moments in this story. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and this series.

**** This is your warning - supplies are needed with this book ****

I have to tell you this book blow me away. It pulls on every emotion you possess. I cried at the author note at the front of the book. Tatted Cowboy is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. I never read the ones before and found it easy to know who people are.

This is a story of Heartbreak, forgiveness, second chances and new beginnings. Kasey has done an amazing job with this story, its one that comes from the heart. They say authors put a little bit of themselves into there books, and with this one I think it wasn't just a little bit she jumped in with two feet.

You know I don't do spoilers and this is no different, there's NOTHING I can tell you about this without ruining it for you. But I will tell you this.

This Book had me enthralled from the first page. It is exceptionally stunning and flawless in its entirety. It's written from the heart. Which makes it that bit more special. Even though you know it's about someone's journey, It play out bright and vivid in your head. And of course It contains a Hot cowboy.

I really recommend you add this to your "TBR" list

I give this 5/5 stars and 5/5 for movie moments.

I found myself engrossed in Tatted Cowboy from the very beginning and quickly fell in love with the strength and emotions of the characters and their stories.

Laura Carlisle is still grieving from the tragic loss of her son and the collapse of her marriage. She knows she must get away if she is every going to find a way to heal.

Luke Stewart owns the local Tattoo Parlour in Pine Creek. When Luke lost his mother five years ago from cancer he also lost his brother Zeke.

When Laura runs into Luke at the local pub there is something about her that even though their encounter is brief her face stays with Luke long after. As they spend more and more time getting to know each other Luke's is finding it harder to keep his distance. As things start to become serious between them Laura has still to tell Luke of her past but when her ex husband shows up it is too late for the right moment. Will Laura be able to open herself up and share everything with Luke and can Luke forgive Laura for keeping her secret.

Do yourself a favour and be sure to add the Down Under Cowboys series to your TBR you will love it!!

Sometimes a drunken night sure ends up a weird morning especially when waking up to a mammoth of a man named Luke, "mornin'," is rumbled from behind me, his breath tickling my ears. Inadvertently, I squirm and he moans, low and deep. "Stop," he commands on a whisper, shifting his hips so his erection grinds into my arse." Luke he's just so sweet, and caring and he likes to look after his woman, "now, I feed you. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I've just had mine." He throws me a wink and climbs from the bed, his enormous erection jutting out his boxer shorts." I loved Luke and Laura together they're playful, content, and just a really hot couple, "after the movie, baby." He bites down on my earlobe and tugs his hand free before moving back. "Now, feed me." He slaps my arse playfully and grabs us both a drink from the fridge." We also saw familiar faces the gang is all in this book so it was great to see what they've been up to, we're introduced to new faces which I can't wait to see get their own book.

Tatted Cowboy had me crying before I even started reading the story. If you've read it, you'll know why. If you haven't, then at least get the sample so you can read how much of herself Kasey put into this book. You'll go back and buy it, just to find out what happens.
This book had me crying--a lot--laughing, and swooning at the thunderstorm encounter and further on with hot-as-f*** sex that'll make you sweat like you're in the Northern Territory yourself!
Thoroughly enjoyable book, despite using a box of tissues with the sad tears, happy tears and break-your-freakin-heart tears. Not an ugly cry book but definitely one that makes you appreciate what you've got around you. Just that little bit more.
Go hug your kids if you have them. Appreciate them even when they drive you up the wall. Love them with everything you have. Be thankful you still have them with you. And feel for those who no longer have their babies (of whatever age) with them.
Thank you, Kasey, for writing from the heart.

3.5 stars.
I’ve really enjoyed Kasey Millstead’s Down Under Cowboy series, it’s been highly enjoyable and very sexy, but this book took it to a new level. There was emotion in this that I thought was lacking slightly from the first three books. The first part of the book was so heartbreaking as we find out about Laura’s pain and her journey from there. I love the way that returning to Pine Creek, reconnecting with friends, starting her business and meeting Luke was so cathartic for her. Once getting away from those looks and everyone knowing her story, she allowed herself to move one. She realised that while she would always carry the past, she was still allowed to be happy and create a new normal.

I am one of those people that reads every word of a book; I don’t just skip over the acknowledgements or author bio or any other piece that might be added. At the beginning of this book there is an author note. I highly encourage you to read this because in my mind it sets the tone for the book and explains where a lot of the emotion in it came from.

Loved this book. Warning it'll have you on an emotional journal with the lead character Laura and Luke but its well worth reading. Another great story to add to this series collection. Laura relocates to Pine Creek where her grandmother lives after a great loss occurs. Trying to get her life back on track Laura starts reconnecting with past friends and making some new ones along the way. Her grandmothers antics will have you laughing out loud because she's a scene stealer in this book. Her grandmother makes a great supporting character in this story. When Laura and Luke meet for the first time neither is really looking for anything beyond what they are have in their lives. Luke sets his sights on Laura after they keep running into each other. The sparks between these two smolder beneath the surface as they circle each other. They have struggles as they find their way to each other but its another great read. Can't wait for more from this series.

Tatted Cowboy had me tattered and put back together again.

From the very first page I was emotionally hooked. This lovely story had so much depth to it. Luke is a really great guy. The sort every woman needs in her life, he cares and is ready to put her first. Laura has such a big heart that was hurt badly. So what better way to try and heal then to go back to a place from happier times. And when Laura is offered a second chance at some happiness will she be willing to face her fares and take a chance on Luke. This story is a perfect mix of emotional depth and sizzling pantie wetting romance. And the ending had this reader very pleased and heart warmed.

Warning best to read the other books in the series first. When reading have cold drinks ready. Warning book may leave you needing a cold shower and many pantie changes. Warning crying is a high chance when reading, start a lot of sad crying and the end has a lot of happy crying. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

This has got to be my most favorite Down Under Cowboy yet! There was so much emotion pouring from the pages you could taste it. There was sadness but it only made the happiness and sexiness that much sweeter. Laura had a long journey she had to walk alone in sadness till she found the man that could shoulder that pain and give her happiness, acceptance and understanding to realize she deserved all those things and furthermore owed them to the son she lost. Miss Millstead had lots of beautiful words mixed in with this sexy as sin book. BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO. If you've never read one the books in this series this is a good one to start with, I'd say you could read it alone with no trouble but I'd urge you to read the others as I always like to know everything going on in a series and it is a darn good series and HOTT HOTT HOTT.

This book had me in tears before I had even got to chapter 1 Its been a long time since I have read a book that has been able to gut me so quick.
Laura is dealing with something that NO Person should EVER have to feel and she struggling with the way people are feeling about her that she has to get away so she goes to live with her grandma.
Luke is a Tattoo artist that doesn’t know what hits him when he bumps into this beauty at the pub.
I will not go into depths about this book cause I think you just have to read it.
I felt Kasey has put so much emotion into this book that is you don’t feel every bit of it there must be something wrong with you…
This is Kasey Millstead book we are talking about she has had me hooked on her books for the last couple of years and she just seems to get better and better

Tatted Cowboy is the latest book in the Down Under Cowboys series. While this is part of a series it can be read as a S/A. Of course we do get to see some old favourites from the previous books, so you could get spoilers.

I really enjoyed this book and it's probably been my favourite so far. Of course, it's an absolute given that Kasey delivers a hot tatted cowboy and a more than likeable heroine who partake in some pretty steamy scenes, but with Tatted Cowboy, Kasey brings us a really beautiful tale of heartbreak/love, second chances and forgiveness. It's a really touching read that had me heading for the tissues more than once.

A great book that I'd happily recommend. Can't wait for the next one!

this was my second book of Kasey's to read and while I haven't yet read the first 3 books in the series-since they are standalones, but should be read in order, I didn't have the time to read three more books before needing to read and review this one, so I will be reading out of order, lol. My heart broke for Laura in the beginning of the book. I have 4 kids and also a pool and my worst fear is finding them in it unsupervised or worse. And to have your spouse blame you every second of every day when you are already so filled with guilt and blame would "kill" anyone's soul. When Laura's parents suggest she move away from their town and back to where she grew up as a child, was her saving grace. And bumping into Luke was fate!!!

Kasey Millstead has done it again with her Aussie Cowboy series.

Luke and Laura's book is one of the best stories in this series.

Laura moves back to Pine Creek after a devastating loss. She wants to go somewhere where no one will feel sorry for her. What she doesn't count is falling head over heels for someone that she literally walks into at the pub.

Luke has lived in Pine Creek for some time now and wasn't looking for someone he could spend time with until Laura. As he gets to know Laura he knows she is holding something back. When he discovers her secret he decides to stand by her.

What develops is a bond a love that everyone can see.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review

This was such a great book!! I love all of the books in the Down Under Cowboy series, but this one is my favorite!! Luke is such a swoon worthy character and has such a big heart. Laura was perfect for him. She was hurt so badly and she was such a sweetheart! They were perfect foreach other, they brought out the best in each other. Their story and their love was beautiful and hot!! Luke is definitely my favorite tatted up cowboy!! This book had a little bit of everything in it, happiness, heartache, and love. I think that these characters were so well written and I felt all of their emotions. I definitely recommend reading Cowboy Town, Sky Cowboy, and Cowboy Dreams before diving into this amazing book!! I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!! Amazing job Kasey Millstead!!
