I love these books, a series of short books, easily read in a couple of hours, of people volunteering at the bakery in Penworth Bay. They come to the bakery needing something, running away from something, they end up as part of a family.

Elsie runs the bakery and in exchange for a room and food, the volunteer works in the bakery. Everyone who volunteers needs to be there, eventhough they may not realise it at first.

Book 25 in this long running series and I hope it continues as its so good.

The books are best read in order of publication to preserve continuity of the characters and wider storyline.

I've already downloaded book 26 to read!

If you like a quick read full of romance and people finding what they need, then you will like this series.
