THIS ARTBOOK IS SO PEAK!!! First of all, it’s absolutely beautiful, even that feels like an understatement. The quality is great, and I’m in love with the illustrations. You can really tell that Vivimeng put a lot of effort into making it. I also loved the extra information the artbook provides. It’s hard to include everything you want your viewers to know in 2–5 minute music videos, so having the artbook definitely helps understanding the world building.
I’d definitely recommend it if you’re a big Alien Stage fan.

Beautiful artwork and great expansion on a series that I’m currently obsessed with. It was so interesting to see the different designs, ideas and concepts behind the published works we’ve seen thus far. This book is certainly a perfect addition to my collection!

Gorgeous art!! I loved how it went into a deep analysis for each episode/ character! I think maybe it would have been better to include the final episodes of alnst, since therefore they end the show and give more concluding thoughts. I also would have liked summaries—which would have helped make the “music videos” a bit less vague and more accessible. More importantly, it did a fantastic job covering the most significant aspect of the series-the symbolism. The symbolism and themes in Alien Stage are what separate it from any show/anime, so I’m very pleased with the analysis and description provided. To conclude, I now understand the whole series a lot better thanks to this art-book. I highly recommend getting a copy of this book!

It was an interesting for me, and I suspect that someone who's already a fan of Alien Stage will love this. I get that they couldn't give us too much information in the limited form of music videos, but that's part of why I never understood the popularity. Which is why I like that this book explains some of the more esoteric/complex elements of the story that were honestly too vague in the animated music series. It's a deep look into the world of the human 'pets,' and their owners, that made the music videos make so much more sense.
The art is good. We get a lot of sketches and look at how the characters came to appear as they do.

THIS BOOK WAS GREAT!!!! The artwork is so exquisite, it very well may be the most beautiful book I own. It's clear Vivinos and Qmeng put a huge amount of work into this to make it truly beautiful. The illustrations were absolutely gorgeous. It also sheds more light onto the sometimes vague plot and makes it easier to comprehend what's really happening. The only negative is that since the original edition came out before the final round, there was no behind the scenes or commentary for Blink Gone nor Karma. But other than that, this was a great read! If you like Alien Stage, this book is definitely for you!

The art is, of course, sensational. However, there was a long portion of this book dedicated to summarizing the music videos frame-by-frame that I think was too long and redundant.

I would have preferred more of the behind-the-scenes design process content instead of screenshots of the finished product and summaries of the videos that viewers have already watched.

It’s also a bit of a bummer that this book leaves out some of the more recent music videos (which cover the climax of the series that leaves fans with the most questions) and doesn’t mention the comics outside of the videos. I was really hoping for the complexities of the ending to be explained, but I was disappointed.

I really liked being able to read the process of making alien stage. Really liked to see the subtle changes they did in some panels to convey exactly what they wanted.
I also really enjoyed learning more about the characters backstories overall, it really helped me understand them better.
I really loved the world building they did in here and it was really cool to be able to read it all!

不知道为什么剧情这么烂还有这么多人喜欢。大纲的改变给Mizi的人设所带来的割裂感不亚于“所有恶魔突然洗心革面哭着向芙莉连道歉，说真的很抱歉我们意识到自己错了”然后把所有死掉的人全复活了。一问理由，就是“我们作为作者，用爱观察了我们的每一个孩子之后，突然意识到恶魔设置成纯坏的形象是不切实际的，尤其是在那么多人类对祂们展示善意的情况下--它们应该变得更善良才对”。因此，“在最后两话的时候我们临时修改了大纲”。
把这个扭转一下就是Mizi人设的变化^^
我甚至觉得这个剧情烂到可以和我推的孩子一决高下了，起码推子没有人物形象的突然转变，只是单纯的降智而已。在得知了结局之后回看art book真的满满的都是讽刺。这就是你们所说的“被爱包围着长大的孩子”吗？？

The art is absolutely amazing and I loved the extra info!! I totally recommend buying if you like alien stage but don’t quite understand it, wanna get more into it, learn more info, or just because you like it because I think that the info is pretty important to the story!!🩵🩵

I would definitely consider this a book because of how much there was in this!!! Wow, I feel like I know so much about this world when I watched the show three times by now and only knew crumbs about it ! Fantastic art and fantastic information.
