Having spent a lot of time in Delhi and commuting frequently by metro, I never thought a book could make me see that daily routine in such a different light. After reading this story, I’m sure the next time I step into a metro, I’ll feel a little more connected to the world it painted.
The story kicks off with an intense incident in the metro and follows Mohan as he gets drawn into a series of events that slowly unravel layer by layer, keeping things engaging throughout. Working in the IT industry myself, I found a lot of moments that felt familiar—almost like reading about colleagues or friends from the tech world.
What sets this book apart is how it handles AI. It’s not your typical sci-fi filled with robots and human battles, but more of a grounded, thought-provoking take on how we might realistically transition into an AI-driven future. The blend of nostalgia, emotional depth, and sharp observations about the tech world—especially the late '90s flashbacks—adds richness to the narrative.
I won’t give away the suspense, but I can say this: it’s definitely worth a read.
