If you’re a dark romance lover, Malicious Claim is a must-read. From the very first page, it pulls you in with its intense atmosphere and addictive storyline. The chemistry between Leila and Makros is electric — raw, messy, and completely fascinating.
It’s a thrilling game of power, passion, and control, with characters that grip you and refuse to let go. And just when I thought I had it all figured out… bam — that plot twist at the end left me absolutely stunned.

The chemistry is intense, the writing cinematic, and the emotional tension cuts deep. This isn’t a love story, it’s a beautiful nightmare you can’t look away from.
The ending left me breathless, and I’m already counting down the days for book two. This world is dark, twisted, and I’m all in.
Trigger warnings apply but if you love your romance raw, unexpected plot twist, spicy, morally grey and unfiltered, this is a must-read.

I just completed this!!!!!
My review:
Now, my review would be twisted, this book is very very dark. It triggered me actually 😂
But if you checked the trigger warning, you'd see you were warned already.
It has physical assault, this was what triggered me and made me super angry at the Mmc, also the fact that at the beginning, if chicken pass with skirt, he'll fuck it 😭😂 (a joke) all in all, I hated the Mmc, like he is literally my least favorite, but Leila!!!! My sweet, little Leila. Godddd I loved this woman, she was so smarttttttttt, she single handedly carried this entire book.
She deserves so much more than that annoying goat man.
Buttttt, now, I reached end and I'm even more confused than I've ever been, I can't drop it as a spoiler, but turns out that the Mmc is not even who we thought he was 😭

Imma repeat that Makros annoyed me, I wanted Leila to sleep with Stephano soooo badddd, I was rooting for them.

Leila’s only reason for being alive is to kill the man who murdered her family in cold blood and has her by the hair in some sort of marriage sham.
I went into this book with the mind that I was reading a dark romance and somehow it still managed to shock me!!
I mean I was warned oh but nothing prepared me!.
My first thought of Makros was surely he cannot be that bad but scratch that… he is demonic!
What do you mean you killed my family and you put a gun to my head and ask me to marry you just because it is fun to not kill me like you did, them.
I was so sure there would be nothing that redeems this animal but somehow Makros managed to surprise me.
As for our Leila, we discover her mother who we all thought was dead is not only alive but plotting.
Another thing is Leila is pregnant, you guys!!!
And that is not even the plot twist!
(Anything I say now will serve as spoilers so I shall hold my peace)

I enjoyed reading Malicious Claims, it was a good read. The characters were well explained and it was easy to tell who they were and especially Leila's character, feisty, Barbie girl and adorably smart. The unexpected twist in the book had me spiraling and I have a few favorites.. It's a book I'd re-read over and over.
And I want to give spoilers but no! Y'all should read.

Malicious Claim is dark, intense, and addictive. Leila’s fight to resist Makros while being trapped in his twisted game had me hooked. The mix of obsession, danger, and psychological tension makes this story impossible to put down. Edna Bruce delivers a haunting tale that lingers long after the last page.

Fair warning: you'll probably find yourself rooting for people you shouldn't be rooting for. I'm still processing how I feel about that ending, but I couldn't put it down. If you like your romance dark and your characters morally ambiguous, this one will definitely keep you up way too late.
