So I got the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

I give it a 4/5 stars, that's my usual rating, so this book definitely isn't bad, but it's not at a favourite status.

30 Silver is really interesting, both the plot and the characters. The starting was okay, but I had to force myself to read the first few chapters.
The transitions of the chapters were okay, as most chapters were in a different setting.

What really got me excited for this book was maybe when I got a chapter 35 or 36. I guess that's the point where the climax of the story was or somewhere near it.

I liked the chemistry between Eden and Jarrod too.

At first I thought Malchus was the good guy in the book, but I was definitely wrong. Especially since I now know what his intentions are.

Not only was this book interesting but quite humorous as some points.

The ending was a boring and could've been better after all the excitement that went on.

I would definitely read the second book and recommend this one!
There is a sequel right?

(I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review).

(This review may contain spoilers).

I found the cover of this book and the blurb to be really intriguing. I was entertained by this book as I read it, but I did waver about how many stars to give it as I reached the end.

I did feel that the idea behind this book was quite an intriguing one. I liked Jarrod and Eden as characters... but I wasn't that keen on them together as a possible. I don't know if it was just that I couldn't get behind them as a couple, or that I wasn't really sure why Eden was attracted to Jarrod... (It's the whole vampire-falls-in-love-with-human thing again...)

What I did find interesting were the biblical aspects to this book and how the thirty pieces of silver were utilised, but for most of the book, I had no idea why the antagonist (I didn't even realise he was the antagonist for over half of the book) was even searching for the silver... or how the other characters fit into the storyline.

I did feel that a lot of the book dragged somewhat. There wasn't as much action as I was expecting and I didn't really get a true explanation about everything that was going on. I was intrigued about the different characters, particularly those connected to Eden, but I didn't really see enough of them. I felt the book was far more a romance than anything else.

I did feel the book was a bit abrupt towards the end. The ending wasn't really very satisfactory. The bits from the past were intriguing, but I was really confused by what was going on there and how everything fit together.

I'm not sure I'll read the next book in this series, if there is one. I had some questions answered by the end, but I felt that there was still a lot of the story that wasn't really made clear. I think there was a lot of potential here, but although I found it easy to read (despite slightly messed-up paragraphs), there were things I would have liked to see explored that weren't. Most of the action happened at the end and I struggled to read the parts that were just romance.

Jarrod's life is about to take some new turns that he hasn't expected. Burnt out with school, he comes back home to try to break the news to his Mom that collage isn't working well for him right now. Instead, he meets a very interesting "girl" and winds up learning way more about his roots than he ever expected!

Eden has her own set of problems, ones we kind of guessed at early on, but didn't keep me from wanting to know how this would play out. From fallen Angels to possibly Immortal Roman Soldiers, or is that guy a demon, this book as a good bit going including the descendants of Judas who betrayed Jesus for 30 silver coins. The "gift" that his descendants have is a rather interesting one.

The end of this book came very suddenly, and I hope there is a sequel I can review! My copy came from Story Cartel in exchange for my honest review and nothing more.

1st I received this book in return for my review. Ok - I am not sure of what to think of this book. I liked the characters, the story, the timeline, plot, etc. Took a little while to get things moving, but you could see where this was going. Then towards the end it gets a little rushed. I feel like they were working with a certain number of pages and had to condense it to make it all fit. The dialog got strained and the characters lost some of the romance they held in the beginning. overall, I did enjoy this book. Guess I will have to read the next one to see where this goes.

I read this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
Despite that I wasn't trying to love it. I wanted to complain. The novel is wordy. I don't need extra explanation or adjectives like exquisite. However, I can't complain. There were words that added to my vocab. The story had no plot holes. It fulfilled all questions, but most importantly I was never bored. its truly hard to put down.

It was ok but the ending was a bit unsatisfactory but that maybe because there is a follow-up though I doubt if I will be reading it.

30 Silver

A thoroughly enjoyable novel. I enjoyed the suspense and the ability to keep the reader wondering what was going to happen. I believe any and all will enjoy it
