I read the one and two star reviews and criticisms of this book on good reads. I, myself, really liked the style of her book. Written from a personal perspective of what led her on this path, what she learned along the way, what she did or didn’t do, what she does or doesn’t like and her tips and tricks for putting into practice what she learned. She has put into simple terms information that will genuinely help people who are struggling 1) to understand the why and how of avoiding/reversing the chronic illness of feeling worn out, beaten down, crabby, sleep deprived and starving. 2) how to implement some changes that can help them. I want her thank her for the book, even though I already knew much of it, it was inspiring to be reminded of it, that it was explained in such a straight forward manner and knowing that if she can do it - so can I. I did really need a bit of hope when I picked it up and feel more empowered now as the hacks are working. Those complaining that her methods are too costly and only for rich people are far wrong on that and need to get the chip off thier shoulder because life is expensive if you hack your hormones or not, and sadly if you want to be well you have to spend not just money, but time and effort and hard work. There is nothing better to spend your money on than your health.
