Spin Game: Exposing Political Lies and Tactics

Rate this book
This book uncovers the facts that will allow the collective right to convey a consistent, factual, and unified response to the misrepresentations espoused by the Left. Spin Game is written as an educational tool for those with both a limited knowledge of political subjects and those who are looking for ways to combat Leftist rhetoric. It is also a fantastic reference tool for conservatives in political or news' fields. It provides the facts behind the issues, while exposing the dark side of politics. Many Americans avoid listening to talk radio, or watching TV news, because they receive conflicting information, or don’t fully understand the subject matter. Once people are given complete, consistent facts (only a few in television media, such as Charles Krauthammer, provide accurate, unbiased information), a vast majority will reach a consensus. That knowledge will also empower more individuals to take an active role in shaping public discourse. The political right has done a poor job of articulating its respective messages, with too few warriors, aside from Mark Steyn, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh. This book is presented in a clear, concise format that is enjoyable to read and easy to understand, and includes a talking points' section for quick reference. Tony Olson logged more than fifteen-hundred hours of research for Spin Game, reviewing more than twenty volumes of research material to insure the accuracy of his information. The issues covered in this book • Climate Change • Racism • Abortion • Minimum Wage • Income Inequality • Gun Control • Unemployment • Immigration • War on Women • Political Identity Knowledge is power. Facts have the ability to unite those with opposing viewpoints. Spin Game is a handbook for taking back America, one fact at a time. Whether you are seventeen or seventy, moderate conservative or extreme right, this book will open your eyes. Get the ammo you need to become a political warrior. Don’t just fight the fight . . . win the fight.

Initially I like the book on the various topics such as gun control, war on women, abortion, etc. But towards the end it felt like he ran out of stuff to say so he repeated the same points and just used it as talking points

Sparks inspiring, provocative thoughts and questions .. what do we want for the future? Are you aware? Are you prepared? A must-read.

I am not an American but am deeply disturbed by the direction the country has been and is heading. As of this writing, the future is looking even gloomier and fast deteriorating. Spingame is not just a breath of fresh air, it is blowing hot for action. Spingame is a rare product that one cannot find in any other book of this genre, a book that is not only well researched and meticulously presented, it reads easily and yet makes one look at each and every area in our lives; from issues to do with family, jobs, community, social and economic issues, and more. Facts and evidence of spin and the extent of it that covers all these areas make my
head swim, albeit I feel it naturally challenges us to dig deeper, galvanizes us to action each of us have in our arsenal to make things better and to avoid pitfalls for the future for all Americans and America. The chapter on abortion particularly is mind-boggling with so much information I was not aware of. Each chapter yields a
treasure trove of well-documented information that educates and stirs one's mind and soul to have and want to do something towards regaining some in-charge control of one's future, those of one's descendants and those of others living in and struggling within a pervasive environment of ever-increasing deception and gross manipulation.

Whether conservative or liberal, you are seriously underinformed if you have not read this book. Olson's research is thorough, his talking points are concise, leaving the reader to draw his own obvious conclusions. Read "Spin Game," then vote.

Very well written. This book helped to validate the theories I already had about the media and the "spin" they put on political issues. Great read!!!!
