Galactic Mates #5

Alien Connection

Rate this book
Collette

I've spent two years trying to prove consciousness survives death, never expecting to discover it can fall in love across dimensional barriers. When my quantum field experiment accidentally entangles my mind with an exiled alien scientist's awareness, suddenly my grief-stricken existence becomes an impossible romance that spans 1,200 light-years.

His consciousness burns like golden fire against mine, creating synesthetic responses that transform mathematics into living art. As we build a relationship through shared dreams and brief physical manifestations, professional curiosity evolves into desperate, transcendent need.

But our love threatens the foundations of two civilizations. With his people hunting him for "consciousness contamination" and mine trying to drug me into sanity, we must choose between safety and a connection that could revolutionize awareness itself, even if it means sacrificing everything we've ever known for love that shouldn't be possible.

Alien Connection is a spicy sci-fi romance featuring psychic bonding, dimensional travel, enhanced consciousness, and proof that love really can transcend any barrier the universe creates.

'"Impossible," I breathe, but my hands are already moving, isolating the response frequencies.
Because if these readings are accurate, if something is actually responding to my transmissions, then everything the Purity Council believes is wrong. We're not alone. Consciousness has evolved elsewhere, in forms we never imagined.
Enhanced forms.'

I loved this book. I was completely fascinated by the premise and hooked from the start. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Collette and Yar'eth. She channeled her grief over her husband's death onto her research obsessively, beginning to worry those around her as she neglects her own body's basic needs because she is so close. Until an alien pattern comes through overloading the systems. Yar'eth has been deemed contaminated and exiled when one day he picks up response patterns alien to his own- proving that other enhanced species exist beyond his own. I loved this train of thinking and loved the way these two connected so profoundly. I couldn't wait to see what would happen. 5 stars.

This was a totally different take on this series. The whole connection through their minds was a thrilling and you keep cheering for this couple to get together in real and not just through their minds. I loved how things all developed throughout the book and the way this author ended this book and them fighting the non believers was too good. I enjoyed every moment of this book just be prepared for this to be a more scientific take on love then just the regular of we meet and get together. This is a must read!!

One of the more science/tech oriented science fiction romances that I have read. Researcher Collette is grieving her deceased spouse Alberto, while she continues her research on the continuation of consciousness after death. Hoping to connect with Alberto, she instead connects to an alien researcher Yar'eth. Can she prove the validity of her research, or will she be written off as psychotic?

This really had a fascinating and unusual premise for a romance. I recommend it for any sci-fi fan.

This was another unique read for the series and this one is set up with the characters meeting through their minds. Collette and Yar'eth's first contact was incredible and they sure don't have an easy journey to be together physically. Expect to get caught up in the drama, danger, thrilling sci fi aspects of the plot and the fun alien flavoured spice ;P This was really engaging and I was rooting hard for them to get their HEA. Good fun!

Collette is a widow whose synesthesia is worse after her husband passed. She has been testing whether consciousness survives after death. What she found was that it was connecting with someone else, location unknown.
A great read, has an interesting new storyline and wonderfully written characters. This is spicy and does have content warnings at the beginning. Grab and enjoy!.

Collette's and Yar'eth's first contact was incredible to begin with, but everything they went through to be together is astromical! A marvelous story of endurance and determination with spicy alien perks.
