Dive into summer with Just One . . . A Summer Romance Anthology
In this short story collection, characters are denied the comfort of hiding the secrets or emotions they hold close when they are forced together in varied circumstances. Whether they involve the sharing of a bed or a car, or a tent on the trip of a lifetime, or something much smaller but necessary, these twelve stories are alive with tension as they highlight the challenge that is forced proximity.

This collection is full of love, laughter, second chances and dreams. Each of these love stories brings something different to the table. I knew some of these author's work already but not all. I enjoyed the unique voice each author has and the differences in the stories while all following the same theme. I'll be checking out more from these authors in the future.
This is a great summer read! A collection of short stories with relatable characters and scenarios. You’ll get to know the characters as they navigate life’s ups and downs. You’ll feel all the emotions and be reminded that love is out there and there is someone for everyone.
A delightful collection of stories breezing into summer with wit, charm, and heartfelt emotions. JUST ONE is a seasonal gem of entertaining short fiction featuring engaging characters and the familiar tropes we romance readers crave in exotic foreign locales. I loved the stranded on a tropical island enemy to lovers’ fireworks of stories like “Unexpected Destinations” by C.S. Robertson and the fish out of river finds romance vibes found in “Chapped Lips” by Katherine Rea. My new summer guilty leisure read.
Thank you Nicole Frail + Plunge Into Book Tours for my copy of Just One… A Summer Romance Anthology. 🤍 I received this book for review, all opinions are my own and given freely.
Just One... A Summer Romance Anthology is the perfect collection of short stories for reading by the pool or at the beach! I was so thankful to have the opportunity to read an advanced copy, I just had to pack it along on my beach trip!
Per usual w short stories, I found myself wanting more + more, I easily could have read full length novels out of these short stories! The variety of tropes compiled into this collection is impressive and I feel as though anyone and everyone would enjoy this anthology given the vast variety packed inside. No matter what your favorite tropes are, there’s something for everyone in this anthology.

It was such a lovely experience. This book is packed with short romance stories that are perfect for summer reading. Easy to dip into between breaks at work.
Each story has its own charm, and I really enjoyed how different they all felt. The authors brought so many styles and ideas to the table, yet everything still fit together beautifully under the theme of summer love. I liked that the stories were short but still managed to pull me in and make me care about the characters. Honestly, I often wished some of them were longer.
There’s a wide mix of romance tropes in this collection, so no matter what kind of love story you enjoy, you’ll probably find something here that clicks with you. It’s light and heartwarming.
I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more from these authors.
This is a fantastic anthology of short romance and perfect for the summer. There’s a little bit of everything (and I do mean everything; the variety here is actually astounding). This collection doesn’t shy away from the tropes, but rather leans in and captures the sweet moments for which romance lovers search. No matter what kind of relationship you prefer to read about, there will be something in this anthology that you’ll enjoy! Bonus points for the story summaries near the beginning! Easy to find just what you want and get there quickly!
A collection of short stories all centered around romance. There is a small blurb of each story at the beginning of the book so you can read the book straight through or jump around to the stories that interest you the most. Each story is only a few pages long so you can easily read in the doctors waiting room. I enjoyed the variety of stories and how the plot moved quickly. When you only have a few pages to fit an entire story into it does not leave room for extra words. This is a book I will pick up when I need a quick feel good read.
A lovely collection of short stories involving travel and just one . . . (bed, chapstick, room etc.) They were all great, but my favourite was definitely Vintage Love by Caz Luan. A fire fighter? Yes! With a beautiful winery setting, it was a perfect tale. Closely followed by Do The Stars Exist? by Desi Stowe. It truly captures the emotions of trauma of the one involved and the one that cares. And that ending? I was crying.
Well worth a read!

I enjoyed dipping my toe into this collection of romance stories of love lost and found, all with their own spin or twist that made each one stand out on its own. I flew through them. Perfect for the summer months.
I have absolutely enjoyed reading this anthology! Reviewing books like this is hard because there are different stories however, this collection fit so perfectly together. So much love and laughter!
