This book on the lessons to be derived from Biblical study is meant as a resource for teachers or Sunday school leaders. Filled with suggestive questions and short reflections, it groups specific stories or sections from the Bible under thematic headings such as "The Secret of Courage" or "Sinning and Punishment." In each section, the reader will find references to specific verses, as well as notes, suggestions and questions that will serve as a helpful resource for preparing a full and meaningful lesson, or simply as a guide for engaging in personal study.
Read *most* of this with the kids, along with our scripture reading. Sparked some really sweet discussions along the way, but required a lot of prep and sifting through and deleting parts, and that was a bit much for me. Switching to using the “Promise and Deliverance” series by de Graff. Already liking it much better as it’s within our tradition and points much more to Christ!
